I had a good experience having my car body fixed by IAC. I had scraped my car on a pillar in a car park so I started asking for quotes from multiple body shops. The prices ranged from $1k to $6K so I left my extremely confused on who to go with (obviously not the most expensive). IAC was closer to the lower end and when I visited the shop, he explained why the prices would vary so much due to labour costs. In the end, i decided to go with them, handed in my car on the monday and got it back on the friday, the quality of work was very good, i have shown people and they can't even tell that the car was ever in an collision. They were very responsive throughout the process and also gave the car back cleaned. I think these guys would have a lot more reviews if they asked their customers more proactively as it is a very busy body shop. read more

Recently, I accidentally damaged my side mirror and had no insurance coverage for my old car. When I called around to compare the estimated cost for replacing the side mirror, I got either a high price or wrong color for the part. Finally, Ali of Ali Autocare kindly directed me to International Auto Body. They not only found the part with the right color in a short timeframe, but also gave me a discount price! For a small additional price, they also fixed the dents and scratches on the body of the car. At the end, they polished the body of my car and put a coating on it. When I picked it up, it looked like a new car! This is a family owned business and both the father and son are very kind and full of compassion for their customers. They try their best to save customer's money and help customers. I always hoped I would find a body shop like this. Family owned and operated, extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, EXCELLENT service and a great price! After going to a few other big corporate body shops and getting some outrageous quotes for some work I needed done, I decided to look for some smaller shops in my neighborhood. I saw all the five star reviews and thought I would try out International Auto. By far the best decision I could have made! After Qasim assessed the damage they found a way to do the work for FAR less than the big guys, and when it was all finished the workmanship was fantastic! I will say, when you see the shop from the street you may be tempted to keep on driving. DON'T! It may not look like the sparkly body shops you see at the dealerships, but don't be fooled. These guys have everything they need, even have an on-site paint shop which is rare for a body shop this size. The more a body shop can do onsite, the quicker they can fix your car and the better the price they can give you... and these guys do! Also be prepared for a bit of wisdom from the guys running the shop. I've learned many insightful anecdotes, but this is my favorite so far: "There are 3 people you absolutely need in your life that you never want to see: your doctor, your lawyer, and your mechanic." More details: I was in a fender bender and needed to repair a side dent and paint scratching/chipping on the rental car that I backed into. It was way more than the paint job that the person thought it would be as soon as the incident happened, which was extremely disappointing to me because I (my fault, I know) took what the person said to me and chose to go the "no insurance" route and pay out of pocket. However, when he took into auto shop after auto shop, they all said that it was way more than a paint job. The guys at International Auto Center were the *most* helpful when it came to: (1) detailing exactly what was wrong with the car, (2) explaining the price break down and why it cost SO much, and (3) being so so very kind to me when I explained my financial situation and how much I was stressing out about it. Bottom line: high-quality and efficient, service, good price. The shop is located on a small lot, so when you drive up to the business, it is crowded. It is a small business (which I like) and therefore does not have the flash and dazzle of a large dealership shop. I took my Subaru Tribeca in for a repair to the hood. I called ahead and was told I did not need an appointment to get a quote and when I eventually went in, the process took no more than 15 minutes. Riaz explained the process for repairing the damage, and he provided time frames so I would know how long I would need to make alternate transportation arrangements. The car was ready earlier than originally anticipated, and when I picked it up, the hood looked brand new. The shop put a special coat on the hood to prevent additional damage from flying gravel, etc. on the highway and because it was not part of the original quote, there was no additional charge. These guys are wonderful. They do great work at a good price. I have brought in 3 different trucks. One for body work and paint it was done beautifully for a great price, a year later it looks perfect. Then I brought in another truck to replace the tailgate handle. It was the third time I had had this done, the first 2 times at another shop. At International they saw what the underlying problem was and fixed the tailgate itself as well as installing the new handle. A year later it's still working great. I can't remember how I found this place but do remember every time I went there I was very happy with their service. First experience was a well-done job on my brandnew Nissan Maxima's touch up paint...back in 1999. Second, a repair of its side mirror I damaged. Third, its fender wrecked by my wife. Fourth, 1/4 reconstruction of my Maxima due my niece's test drive. I could not believe it was still repairable...my niece is still driving now her Maxima. This last time i brought my MBZ s500 in for repainting the top and driver quarter panel after the clear coat started peeling. They gave me a great price and did an excellent job. I used this place to fix a Mercedes sports sedan that had a limited edition paint. I needed a front bumper replacement and repair on the front grill. These guys gave me the absolute best quote, undercutting other shops by more than 50%. When you get bodywork done and paint done, the shops will usually buy brand new parts and tell you that you need to repaint all the other panels touching the replacement part. So if you are repainting the bumper, they will tell you that you need to repaint both fenders and the hood as well. Some are very aggressive in trying to swindle you on this, even saying that they refuse to do the job unless you pay them to repaint all the surrounding panels. I have an intermediate knowledge on cars, so I can tell when someone is trying to take advantage of me for car repairs. International was much more honest. They told me of this, and mentioned that it would be best practice, but did not force it on me. He told me that if I didn't want to go this method he would paint match custom to the existing car and assured me it would be unnoticeable. For the body work, he offered himself to fix a bent grill rather than buy a new one. He basically did everything he could to give me the best deal and salvage what was possible. He showed me upfront which bumper he was going to buy, how much it was going to cost and which website he would order from. I don't think he even upcharged on the new bumper, which 90% of other shops would do. When I got the car back, it looked pristine. The workmanship is top notch and for the price, you'd be hard pressed to find a better value shop out there. Paint was what I worried about most, and it turned out excellent. Throughout the entire experience, I felt they had my best interest in mind and were not trying to take advantage of me. I asked the owner why its so cheap. He gave me a very philosophical answer saying all you need in life is food, shelter from the rain, and a place to sleep to be happy. He doesn't want to be greedy. More money more problems. He also doesn't want his kids (who are working there as well) to learn greed. Of course I took that with a grain of salt at the time, but he's a very genuine guy and walked his talk in the end. This shop is extremely honest, does good work and charges under what they deserve. 5 stars! This is my go-to recommendation to all my friends and they have all been impressed as well. read more

My car had quarter panel damage that seemed to be repaired by an amateur, and involved a lot of Bondo. After a few years, the Bondo had cracked through the paint, revealing the true extent of the damage. I found International Auto Center through Yelp and decided to take it there for an estimate and inspection. They provided an estimate that was well below what I was expecting, considering this involved quarter panel damage. They even offered a discount for being a first time customer. I happily dropped off my car the next day and picked it up 5 days later, as they had estimated. They even washed my car before I arrived. The repair job was above and beyond what I was expecting, and Zain (sp?) even applied extra sound deadening (at no extra charge!) behind the quarter panel to address my previous concerns about it creaking over rough roads.
