I jammed my toe during the holidays and was in need of a podiatrist. I was fortunate to find Dr…read more Huang who was able to squeeze me in the same day. The process was quite simple actually. The parking is located in the back and the entrance is easily accessible. While I walked in the lobby, the reception greeted and handed me some paperwork to fill out. I was then ushered into an examination room, sat on a chair and took off my shoes. The doctor came in and was very cordial, communicative and most importantly patient. He answered all my questions and assisted me with my concerns. Great experience overall.

Anyone have Blue Cross PPO!? Read along.... Unfortunately I…read morenever had a chance to see this doctor. The front desk lady did not understand how Blue Cross works. Had she understood what her computer read, she would see I have met my individual deductible. She wanted me to pay what left of the family deductible. So she told me I need to pay $140 plus whatever services are rendered. That was upfront! I hadn't even seen the doctor yet. I knew I I wasn't responsible to pay for the office visit in full. As soon as I got in the car I called Blue Cross who told me that I was right. They put me on hold and called her and explained to her how it worked and that she should not have asked up front and taught her what she should have done. I did not return as I did not trust this office anymore. So please make sure you speak to your insurance company first and ask reception at the office to check:understand your insurance benefits BEFORE you drive all the way down there.

I found Dr. Maggie on Yelp after injuring my toenail, and all of the glowing reviews were spot on…read more I was even happier to find out she accepted my insurance! At first, it looked like I might have to come back because my gel polish made it hard to examine the nail. Instead of having me make another trip, Dr. Maggie took a closer look, realized the nail was lifted and no longer viable, and removed it carefully bit by bit. I was incredibly nervous, but the entire process was surprisingly quick and completely painless. She also took the time to trim my other nails and gave me helpful tips to prevent this from happening again. She immediately recognized there was damage to my nail matrix, and her confidence and expertise made me feel I was in great hands. What impressed me most was how thoughtful she was. She never rushed, explained everything, and genuinely cared about making the experience as comfortable as possible. Her office also squeezed me in for an emergency appointment first thing after the weekend, which I really appreciated. Thank you, Dr. Maggie! Looking forward to my follow-up appointment (even though I usually dread going to the doctor's.)

Update 06/10/2026…read more The clinic publicly stated that Blue Shield would correct the claim and issue a new EOB. However, Blue Shield's written response states that my podiatrist visit is subject to a $50 copayment under my plan, that no corrected claim has been received from the provider, and that no updated EOB will be issued. I am sharing this information because it differs from the information provided by the clinic.
