Majid and team came out and fixed a gas piping issue outside of our residence that we had discovered during concrete renovation. Majid was able to re-route our gas piping and left a pressure gauge for PG&E to observe before they had turned our gas back on. The only caveat is that we were charged for a permit but PG&E didn't require the permit. We were told verbally that we'd be refunded the $500 if the permit wasn't required, but never got a follow up (once acknowledged) after playing text tag. Decided to just eat the cost vs. dragging it out. Just make sure you get the finer details of the paperwork before signing. I feel like I got tremendous value -- work was high quality, he was on time, communicated well and he's very professional. I highly recommend Majid for any job. PS - for those folks flipping out about a minimum service charge, keep in mind that _all plumbers_ have minimum service visit charges to cover transit and their time. Other companies I talked to asked for $89 minimum just to look at my system, and if you end up choosing them they wave the minimum fee and just roll it into the overall bill. City of Fremont was replacing the water meters and discovered there was leak near the meters and wanted the leak fixed before going for a meter change. Reached out to Majid as he has assisted in past. He promptly responded to phone call, took details and scheduled a visit to see the problem. Once analyzed the problem, he scheduled a visit the following day. He punctually visited and replaced the pipe that was leaking with a copper pipe. Took care of finishing the task to perfection and cleaned the surroundings. He completed the small patch of concrete that was supposed to be laid out. Mo and his team came out to help with our water heater installation on the second floor. The galvanized steel pipe to the hot side of the water heater was in pretty bad shape so something had to be done. I was quite impressed at Mo's persistence of doing things right and not take the easy way out. He basically did a mini-repipe project and traced it down to the first floor and replaced entire pipe! Most would balk at the amount of labor involved or tried to just do some threading on the old pipe. Their warranty is a joke. We did water heater installation using this company. Their technicians installed the water heater not meeting the California code. When we called this company again within the one year warranty for labor, first Majid mentioned that he is not aware of the California code. Big RED flag. Then he charged 250$ for fixing the water heater installation. This is straight out FRAUD by the company. We will never use them again. If they install water heater wrongly within the warranty period and then charge 250$ to fixing their fault, why mislead the customers by offering warranty in the first place? They failed to follow the California code during water heater installation which is an earth quake hazard, did not respect their warranty, and then charged clients extra for fixing their fault. read more
