I chose River City Vet and Dr DoBroth was our vet, she is amazing. Took her time, asked the right questions'. She went over a plan and asked if I was good with it. Felt like I was heard. From the moment I walked in it was great. Very clean, staff were very courteous. I got in quickly even though they were busy. Her plan - our plan- is realistic not overboard. Brody is 15 years old and the treatment plan is going very well. In fact, he's acting like a youngster. Thank you Dr DoBroth for your care. Peggy and Brody

We were told he was healthy. He wasn't. I brought Blue in for a weight check 3-4 weeks after his checkup. He had lost nearly a pound in that time. He wouldn't eat. His behavior had changed. No one followed up on my concerns. I called River City Vet a few days after the weight check because Blue was lethargic and wouldn't eat or drink. We were told they didn't have time for us. I took Blue in to West Vet for IV fluids every day for 3 days. My husband was out of the country and made an emergency flight home from Japan while we struggled to keep Blue alive so he could say goodbye to his favorite human. Blue died in our arms on Easter Sunday, a few hours after my husband got home. He was only 6 years old.

They don't do unnecessary tests and are fair, honest and kind. Despite Vader just wanting to escape (or Princess wanting to bite) it's not their fault in anyway shape or form. The vets are all nice, and try their best to make Vader less fearful. My 17 year old cat- well- they just let her be 17 and grouchy. They don't push vet diets and understand owners (and their budgets). If you need a vet in this very busy area- try to wait for these guys. It's worth it.

We were able to carry him in on his own bedding, which he stayed on until the end. We were given all the time we needed to privately say good-bye. We were given water, tissues, and comfort. They even offered the option of leaving out the side door if we didn't want to be emotional in front of people in the waiting room. A couple weeks later, we received a beautiful copy of the "Rainbow Bridge" poem with our dog's paw print on it. The entire staff signed a hand-made card offering their condolences. When I came back to pick up his ashes, the staff once again gave such heartfelt condolences. I wasn't just a number, and it showed!

Every staff member we interacted with was kind, compassionate, and respectful. They never rushed us and gave our family as much time as we needed with our dog both before and after she was peacefully put to sleep. That kindness meant more to us than words can express. The staff treated our dog with dignity and genuine care, and they showed so much empathy for what our family was going through. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable, which was greatly appreciated during such an emotional time. We are so grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown by everyone at All Valley Animal Care Center. Thank you for helping us say goodbye with love and peace.

I took my sweet boy in 10/28 And he died 11/1…read more Background I took him to IPH overland in August for diarrhea, his bloodwork was normal, fecal was normal, we changed his food, the pooping was resolved. His appetite declined slightly with the change in food because he loved chicken and couldn't eat it anymore as that is what was making him sick. He was eating treats and drinking water, closer to end of October I noticed he really was declining in appetite and hadn't pooped in several days. Took him to All Valley 10/28. We did an ultrasound which I was told was all clear, but he was jaundiced so we did blood work showing "moderate" elevation in liver indicating liver disease. They recommended hospitalization which I couldn't afford so we discussed at home treatment after this I specifically asked if he was dying. She told me that they aren't able to say, but that it will depend on how he responds to treatment. In the medical record it's specifically said "does not seem imminent at this time" but then her notes specify "supportive" care which is language I would use for hospice or trying to make someone comfortable in their last days. My baby had a seizure, and was choking on his own vomit in my arms when he died, I tried cpr but nothing could help him. I feel that I should have been advised of the possibility of something like this happening because I was very direct with the questions I asked. The love of my life and my soulmate is gone now, and I had felt there was a possibility of full recovery (even if it may have taken months) based on the conversation I had with the vet.

We first visited over a year again on recommendation of Critter Clinic for teeth cleaning for Scamp. He was very thorough in explaining cat's mouth and teeth, which 3 others clinics had neglected to provide. The other places only said he needed cleaning but not why. My cat wasn't the easiest to handle but they did a great job. Surgery went well and Dr Smith followed up. We returned a year later when my cat was failing, Dr Smith and staff were great with explaining and treatment. Scamp improved but then he as failing again and we chose to put our beloved kitty to sleep after much agony. Pawspital once again were the best comfort and care for my pet and me. I can't thank them enough.

She is a 90 pound 1.5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback.. Pawspital not only charged less for Cytopoint than other vets in the area but I love the fact that they are very new. Newer vet offices tend to be clean and tidy, have great fresh staff and a Vet who is very excited about their work. And Pawspital was all of those things for us today. Great and helpful staff! They got us on the books the next day. I didn't have to wait after my appointment time. Dr. Smith is very kind, has great people skills and I can tell he really cares by the questions he asks and the time that he takes with you. Thank you Pawspital Animal Hospital and Dr. Smith! We will be back!
