    Garlic Cheese Bread Basket

So I'll start out with the hood in that is the friendliness of the staff. They make you feel at home and they are very welcoming. Definitely great service. The ambiance is what you expect from a pizza lounge. It's the basic set up of a bar with a lot of seating. Nothing bad and what you would expect. Now the food or the pizza and cheese bread we ordered were ok. I know I'm a bit of a pizza snob and I can be hard on pizza. The pizza we ordered was the pepperoni lovers and to be honest it did not have a ton of flavor and even my kids who love pizza were not all that impressed. The pizza lacked flavor outside of saltiness and pepperoni, it lacked sauce which can take a pepperoni pizza to the next level. I actually took the sauce, which was good from the cheese bread and put it on top. That made it better, but still average at best to below average. The cheese bread was the highlight and actually made me excited for the pizza. I'm glad we got it though as that sauce (that unlike most places is extra for the cheese bread) made the pizza better. Overall if my review was just about the pizza and cheese bread it would be a two star review. There is better pizza out there for better value at that. The service is superb and that is why it's a three. If I come back I will try things outside of pizza.

Got the Korean BBQ pizza on a thin crust. Never had that arugula shit before but it was pretty good. The sauce was good the crust was good. The exotic flavors were so exciting for my taste buds

Adagio's was always a hot spot for me growing up in New Brighton, big Friday night hang out, they have since moved just down the road but the pizza is still wonderful, there dough is very delicious along with their sauce and amount of sauce they use on their pizza's. They have broasted potatoes too with seasoned sour cream that are always a go to item on the menu. They have a meat raffle every Friday night. Only complaint is they could maybe use a few more servers.

If you like "deep dish" pizza this is the best place I have found, I even like it more than any Chicago deep dishes that I have had, but that's me. The homemade dough, house made sauce and the fresh ground Italian sausage are what makes the pizza. Good pizza takes time and this one will be about 45 minutes to an hour wait but worth it! If dining in I order ahead due to impatient kids otherwise take out is great too. I have been dining here for almost 40 years and it still remains my families favorite place for pizza! Oh and if you sign up for StayLocalSaveBig monthly coupons it makes the price unbeatable! I paid $17.95 for the pizza pictured and it fed 4 of us. Also their website they have daily specials.

Our server was bubbly and friendly and very helpful with menu questions and suggestions. We ordered the garlic bread with cheese and was delicious! One piece was a little too brown on the end and server asked if we were ok with that or if we wanted a new order. The fact she even asked was great and we appreciated her attentiveness. It was only one piece and just one bite. All of our meals were delicious and the portions are huge. You won't leave hungry. The menu was recently changed to add even more sandwiches and new pizza options. It was also nice to see a summer special menu with food and drinks. The only thing we miss are the suckers and hard candies they used to bring with the bill! It brings me back to my childhood days when we used to get a sucker for the road. Will definitely be back!

Great spot for beers and pizza! This is your typical hole in the wall joint but with delicious pizza. We came with a group of 12 and were waited on by a delightful server. Beers were cold and large! Philly cheese pizza: my favorite! I would highly recommend! Cajun shrimp: lacked Cajun flavor, I would skip next time because it didn't jump out at me with anything special Hawaiian: loaded with toppings, tropical and tasty Taco: only eat this fresh because they top it with fresh be Veggies. I would recommend for those who like tacos. Supreme: good ole classic with large toppings My only complaint would be to have the pizzas done well. I felt like the crust could've used an extra 5 or so minutes. Due to the amount of toppings and cheese, all our pizzas were quite "soft"

just one of the many reasons I come to Adagios

Great place I highly suggest it Awesome Pizza awesome management. Has a great hometown as atmosphere.

Still giving suckers with your bill! Way to keep it old school!

I love this place but weekday lunch time is NOT the time to go unless you want to sit at the bar.

The Rosè I had was pretty good and the Cab Sauv my date had was good too! The music was pretty loud - only on weekends I think , but when the crowds dispersed it felt more like an intimate wine bar- so I imagine during the week this would be a great place to meet up with friends and family. Did not get to try any food as we had just come from dinner but they did have some amazing smelling bread boards I would be willing to try! A tapas craze crossed the Atlantic in the 1980s and helped launch the small plates revolution. Tapas was hot, hot, hot. Then, like most trends, it fizzled out, and tapas became commonplace. Somehow, Barcelona Wine Bar knew when to catch the public's fancy. These restaurants are popular in every city they're located in, and Minneapolis was no exception. On a Tuesday night, Barcelona Wine Bar was hopping with a loud and youthful crowd, happy to be out on Washington Ave in the North Loop. We found two seats at the crowded bar, and the cacophony was just below annoying, but we could hear each other. Our bartender/server, Jessica, was professional and charming, helping make our second evening in our new neighborhood fun. Although BWB is a chain, the chefs create their own menus. The food was decent, nothing special, but BWB is about the scene. You share some wine, have a few cocktails, and laugh out loud. We had a good time and will return knowing it's not about an award-winning kitchen. Barcelona Wine Bar is about having a good time.

The space is cozy, filled with natural light from the large windows, and has plenty of seating, including comfortable spots near the fireplace. It's usually quiet enough to focus, and since it's right by the Mississippi River, it's the perfect place to grab a coffee and take a walk afterward. I also love that there are other local shops nearby, making it easy to spend a few hours in the neighborhood. On this visit, I came on a Saturday around 9:30 a.m. with a friend who was visiting from out of town. We were surprised by how busy it was--the line was almost out the door--but it moved steadily and was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the Bananas Foster Latte, which was absolutely delicious. It was rich, flavorful, and topped with vanilla cold foam and a caramelized banana slice. It felt like such a fun twist on a classic latte, and the large size was perfect. For food, we shared the Breakfast Flatbread, which was one of my favorite things we ordered. The combination of house-made ricotta, mozzarella, confit tomatoes, onions, eggs, and garlic olive oil was flavorful, hearty, and easily enough for two people to split. We also ordered the breakfast sandwich with maple mustard glazed ham, which came with a side salad and was equally satisfying. One thing to know before you go: Silver Fern is definitely on the pricier side. My latte and the flatbread came to about $28 before tip. I also wish they had a few more hot breakfast options since much of the menu leans toward pastries and baked goods. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the atmosphere and the people. The owner is incredibly kind, and the baristas were especially thoughtful with my friend's nut allergy, taking the time to answer questions and make her feel comfortable ordering. I also really appreciate that they offer 20% off for students and teachers every Tuesday, which is such a thoughtful way to support the local community. If you're looking for a cozy café with excellent coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere--whether you're meeting a friend, working remotely, or grabbing a drink before a walk along the river--Silver Fern is absolutely worth a visit.

We pivoted to just a glass and a starter and went some place else after experiencing the place. Though there are 3 staff working the front area, we had to order at the counter. That really pulls us from our date setting. Also, deciding when to join the line to pay at the end? At one point I said, should I pause this story so you can pay or finish the story? Not the date vibe we were going for. It felt like the staff were watching us. The seating was uninviting -- add some pillows to the bench and the stools would be very unpleasant. The music was very loud coming from the front speakers and it felt like we had to talk loud to be heard (and so did the table a couple over from us, which we could hear every word). I'd love to write about the food (great) and wine (seems like a well curated selection) or even the music selection, but overall it was not worth the ambiance. To steal a line from another review (KS, spot on): "[Their] menu invites questions. It invites curiosity and conversation." -- not something you can have in a line at a counter. If we are supposed to order a bottle of wine and stay awhile, I want to feel like we are welcomed. Some warmth and table service would go a long way. We left and had the fantastic intimate dining experience and date night within walking distance.
