I think Adam might be Batman... Our ancient air conditioner went out on Friday night, of course, and during the 100 degree plus heat wave. I sent out the bat-signal, ok.. an email and Adam was at our door the next morning. He had us back up and running after in no time and is getting us though this weird, abnormally hot August. After the excellent next-day service he provided with our furnace last Fall and now this, he's the first call if we're having a problem. We're having the system replaced sooner than later and Adam will get the job. Our air conditioning crapped out at our weekend house in St. Helena during August - not a great situation. I called AdamEck HVAC and they made some time for us within a day. Adam showed up 40 minutes early and quickly made a diagnosis that the fan motor had failed. After first checking on the part availability he warned that it might take a week to get it. He called back the next day and said he could get the part within 24hrs. I saw the FedEx boxes so he clearly rushed the delivery but he stuck with his original very fair estimated price. We recently had an incident in our crawl space where a rat chewed its way into our ducts and died. You can imagine the smells that ensued; it was not pretty. Adam was very easy to communicate with using Yelps online tool. He responded in under an hour and had a guy onsite a day later. I was super happy with my experience, start to finish with Kim and Adam. We were able to schedule a diagnostic service for the next day, and they were flexible and willing to diagnose the issue and talk me through the problem and potential solutions - whether they were the ones to do the work or if it was something I could do myself. In this case, Adam quickly root caused the issue to bad wiring from a handyman we had previously used (lesson learned). After talking to many contractors that in hindsight, didn't want the job, AdamEck stepped up. I know the work was tough, replacing ductwork that has been infested, smelled bad and had seen better days. The job included adding a new AC unit. Adam's bid was competitive and the work was quality.
