    BBQ chicken pizza

Another excellent meal at Brick. My wife and I sat at a table in the bar area tonight instead of our usual seats at the bar. We were meeting another couple to celebrate my birthday. Our server tonight was someone I hadn't had before. I guess I'm a bit old-fashioned, but I was a little thrown off -- as were our friends -- by the nose ring she had in the center of her nose. It just wasn't to our taste and felt a little out of place for the setting. Still, she was polite and professional. She took our drink and appetizer orders promptly. We finished those and placed our dinner orders. Our friends ordered another round of drinks, but they took a while to come out -- in fact, our meals arrived first, and we were still waiting for the drinks. Right as I was about to check in with her, the last salad came out. For dinner, my wife ordered one of her go-to dishes: the kale salad with chicken. Our friends also got the kale salad with chicken and a smashed burger with a side salad. I had one of my favorites -- the salumi pizza. Everything was excellent, as always. When our server found out it was my birthday, she surprised us with a plate of two chocolate truffles and a lit candle. It was a very thoughtful gesture and much appreciated.

Pizza was absolutely delicious. Very generous portion. Service was a little slow for food but I think they have just a couple of people running the bar. Will absolutely dome back to try more items!

Loved the spicy margherita and Manhattans, unique salads along with the meatballs and polenta. Our server was friendly and attentive and the live music was an extra treat.

This is usually a go to in the Prince Frederick area if you want good food. Last night was no exception. We sat on the hipper 'bar side' of the restaurant in a booth. The Thursday night game was in and they had the volume up to 'I can't hear you speaking volume, This is why I subtracted a star mainly. I ordered the Tomahawk Pork chop. I am sooo glad I did. This was the best pork chop I've ever had! It was thick, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The fat that is normally in the outside of the pork chop is something that I normally don't eat. NOT TONIGHT. The chef crisped the edges of the fat. When taking a bite of the edge, you got the crispy fat (almost like thin bacon) and the date when chewed melted like butter and mixed with the meat. So good. I ate the whole thing, and I'm NOT ashamed to tell you I picked up the bone and gnawed on it a little!

Dined here with my family (of 4). The restaurant had a nice appeal to it. It's pretty large with one side having booth seating and a bar and the other side had standard table seating. It was clean and the restrooms were immaculate. Our server was GREAT! She was very attentive and polite. The food was just okay. The baby kale Caesar salad was a nice portion size, but lacked flavor in the dressing. We tried the Double BBQ wings as well as the Korean BBQ wings. The Double BBQ were okay and the Korean ones were a bit salty. Also, they could have been cooked a touch longer. The best thing we had was the Spicy crab pizza. It was a hit! I would definitely recommend it. The mussels weren't bad. They had a different twist as they had meat in the sauce which was different, but not a deal breaker. We tried the chorizo sliders were delicious; they were flavorful and had a bit of spice (which I LOVE). I will revisit due to the excellent customer service and to try another pizza on the menu.

This review is for an event held tonight at Brick. The restaurant was extremely busy. They had several private parties going too, including a wedding reception, and our smaller family anniversary celebration with about 20 guests. They have several private event spaces, and the layout, with the ability to close sliding doors, really made it seem private. The food was delicious, and the servers were great. They served a bruschetta bread with topping, then a plate of crab balls for each table (really good), then ceasar salad, the entree (mine was salmon) and dessert. It all was timed nicely and everything went very smoothly.

When we first arrived, it was extremely loud inside because the music was playing and everyone was trying to talk over it. After we had been sitting for a few minutes, the music stopped, and the atmosphere became much more enjoyable. Everyone had been trying to talk over the music. For drinks, I ordered a Whiskey Mule made with Bulleit Bourbon, and my wife had an iced tea. When I took my first sip, my drink was extremely sour. I asked if they had accidentally made me a different cocktail, and they said no, but immediately offered to remake it. I told them that whatever extra ingredient made it so sour could just be left out. The second drink was perfect, and I really appreciated how quickly they took care of it. For dinner, my wife ordered the chili, and I had the pork tacos. As always, the food was very good. We were sitting at the bar, and I asked Gordy about a couple of the beers they had on tap. He asked if we had ever has any of the sour beers. He came back with a sample of the Double Blueberry Marshmallow Sour. He was right! It definitely had a tart flavor at first, but it also had a nice sweetness. The blueberry flavor came through right away, and about 10 seconds later, I could really taste the marshmallow. It was a unique beer and fun to try. Overall, we had another great meal. The staff was friendly, they handled my drink issue without hesitation, and the food was just as good as we've come to expect. We'll definitely be back.

Overall, we had a generally good experience, but admittedly there were a few things that kept it from being a great one. For me, the biggest issue was the very start of the visit. It wasn't clear whether guests were supposed to seat themselves or wait to be seated. I hate standing around aimlessly and looking lost while we figure out what protocol is. We eventually sat down but then went quite a while without a server, which made for an awkward first impression. Once someone did help us, however, the service was very friendly and welcoming. The young lady was truly helpful and friendly but also very busy. The drinks were very good, but I wish the menu did a better job describing them. Many of the listings focus on the alcohol being used, which is great if you're already familiar with those spirits. I enjoy having new drinks but I was not familiar with these, so for those of us trying to decide what something will actually taste like, a little more detail would go a long way. We also tried the bourbon flight, which was fun and gave us the opportunity to sample several different bourbons. That said, the price was incredibly high. I enjoy tastings and flights when I visit new places, but at that cost it's difficult to justify doing again. As far as the food goes, the highlights were definitely the flatbreads and wings. Both were delicious and easily the standout items we tried. Their food is 100% worth trying. I wish we could have eaten more but we simply couldn't! To us, The RAD House had a friendly atmosphere, good drinks, and excellent food. While it may not be quite my scene, I think it's worth a visit and we may return just to try more of their delicious food. I still miss the little fish market but I'm glad a good establishment took its place!

We figured it would be busy since it's an Irish pub on St. Patrick's Day, so it wasn't a big deal when it took about 10 minutes for the server to come take our drink order, and another 10 minutes to come take our food order. Then there was the wait. Since it was a busy day, I figured about 30 minutes, maybe 40, so I expected our food would be ready around 8:20-8:30; our food was not delivered to our table until 9:23... and it was a little cold, as if it had been ready for a while, but never brought out. I ate about half of mine and took the rest home. My wife only ate maybe 3-4 bites of hers. After reheating at home, the food itself was fine; I had corned beef & cabbage (yes, cliche) and my wife had fish & chips. We were given a basket of kettle chips around 8:30. The wait was long enough that my wife ordered a second beer (which she doesn't usually do); was a little disappointed that it wasn't comped because of the long wait. What made it worse was there were a few tables that were seated after us that got their food before us, including a party of 6 that finished, paid and left before our food even arrived. I'm willing to give the place a second chance on a different day. I get that St. Patrick's Day is probably a rough one for them. But if the kitchen is over an hour behind, that should probably be mentioned before any orders are taken.
