Scheduled service for our their special on tankless water heater service. The company was prompt to come out on a Sunday when our furnace went out. Fernando quickly determined that a "stuck switch" was the problem. He then proceeded to tell me that our furnace was putting out carbon monoxide into our home and that we needed to have it replaced, costing upwards of $10,000. I was shocked, as our carbon monoxide detector never went off. I had the gas company come out later that day and after a thorough inspection they determined that the furnace was producing ZERO carbon monoxide and it was indeed safe. I would not recommend this company or trust that they're being honest. read more

I have used Adeedo for my plumbing needs since I bought my home 8 years ago. Recently, I called them for a backed up utility sink in the garage. Robert Masuhige came out and was able to snake the line serving the kitchen, utility sink, and laundry after extended effort. They offered a free camera assessment of the mainline which showed root intrusion and disintegration of the nearly 60 year old clay pipes. A discounted price was offered to install a liner to prevent future problems. Robert included the arduous line cleanup at no charge. The following day, Marco and Fernando arrived right on time to carefully excavate the line under the brick driveway. They completed the job cleanly and in good time. I always receive excellent service and pricing. I recommend the company to all of my friends. read more

Eugene did such a great job on my RO system, that I had him install a hot water heater and a whole house water filtration system this week. LOL. I'm so glad someone with Eugene's expertise was on the job! I had a serious issue with venting for the hot water heater, and Eugene pointed out that this issue is a safety hazard and could start a fire if it wasn't addressed. He came up with a solution, that ended up working out better for me anyway based on things in my home. Again, I appreciate his skill and his attention to detail. I was very disappointed in this company. My 85 year old mother had a plumbing problem and the guy that came out told her it would be between $8-12,000!! Told us pipes were collapsed and they'd need to put a 'sleeve' in to repair it. Called another plumber who snaked and broke through the blockage, cost was $400. No collapsed pipes. I can't stand people that take advantage like that. read more

I am in Santa Monica. Not San Francisco. Christian serviced the hvac today and was very thorough and competent. He wore gloves, shoe covers, and a mask throughout the visit. He noticed that the company that installed the new system 2 years ago and recently maintained it didn't replace the correct furnace filter. The other company has been in business in the SF Valley for decades, and installed 3 of my prior hvac systems. I will never use them again for multiple reasons. Unreliable and unprofessional. They were scheduled to arrive one day but then canceled at the last minute. Rescheduled for the next morning but then they didn't show. Then they said they'd arrive within 20 minutes and it took an hour. Then when the plumber finally arrived he then said he needed to go back to the office which took another hour. Then he couldn't fix the problem and left a mess on his way out. read more

From what I understand, ADEEDO bought Fisher Plumbing, which I used to work with quite frequently in the past. Based on those mostly positive experiences (with Fisher), I thought I'd give ADEEDO a try when I recently encountered an issue with my water heater. Called last Friday and a service visit was quickly scheduled for the coming Monday. Great - until I received a phone call on Monday morning, ten minutes before the visit, advising me that they were too busy and would have to reschedule for the following day, Tuesday. Fair enough, things can happen, I get it. However, after rescheduling the appointment for the next day - you guessed it -, approximately 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time of the service visit, I received yet another call. Unfortunately (well, I'm actually not even sure the lady on the phone used the word "unfortunately"), they were just too busy once again and would have to reschedule for the following day, Wednesday. Really? Well, thanks but no thanks. Obviously ADEEDO is so busy, they just don't need my business. They have bigger fish to fry, more money to make elsewhere. That's OK. Luckily, there are plenty of reliable companies that want the work, treat customers respectfully, and don't give you the run around. It's just that ADEEDO is not one of them. read more

I agreed to have their technician install a kitchen faucet that they would pick up from their warehouse. The technician started to install it, but the hot water shut off valve leaked when he turned the knob, so he said it needed to be replaced. The charge for unscrewing the old valve and screwing the new valve on was $96 for about a 10 minute job. It gets worse. I noticed he had reused my old water supply lines to connect to the new lines that came with the new faucet. After he left I began to worry that the 12 year old water supply lines might break. I couldn't understand why he connected the old lines to the new lines that came with the faucet since the new ones would reach the shut off valves. It turns out that he didn't bring adapters with him that would enable him to connect the new water supply lines directly to the shutoff valves, even though he checked the job out before picking up the new faucet. I called and asked for a technician to come back out and do the job right. A technician came out and told me he would charge me $100 for the adapter because he didn't have one in his truck and would have to go get one, even though I had already explained when I called what was needed. I told the plumber I wanted to talk to a supervisor, miraculously he then found one in his truck. He only needed one adapter, because when the last plumber installed the new hot water shut off valve, the water supply line that came with the new faucet fit the new valve, no adapter needed on that side or reason to reuse the old line! The second plumber removed my old water supply lines and installed the new lines and left. About an hour after he had left, I noticed a leak. I again called adeedo and was told they would send a technician back. I waited and then got a call from the technician asking if I could wait till tomorrow, he was on his way home and not near by. Due to the stress and aggravation that I had been through, I said no. He showed up shortly and worked on the leak then left. I checked for leaks later that night and noticed a very small leak. I called the next day and asked to speak to a supervisor. He was willing to send the plumber back. This would have been the 4th time a plumber would have had come out to my home. It had been more than a week of going through this bad installation job. How could I trust the job would be done right or maybe even make matters worse. On top of all this, I had asked the first plumber for the installation instructions and model number so I could register the faucet for warranty. He left the instructions and said the model number was in them, but it wasn't. I called Moen who said the model number is only on the box the faucet came in. The plumber had taken the box. The supervisor said he would try to get the model number. No one called me with the model number. Too much stress and aggravation to have one of their plumbers come back. I decided to wait and monitor the small leak. Very unsatisfied customer. read more

i honestly wish i could give zero stars for real. i hired them back in february of this year for a toilet issue. they put me off 2 different times which in turn made me without a toilet for 3 days. well 5 months later i decided to use them again and so i booked an appointment and yet again the first appointment of the day is taking much longer. i received a call close to 11am that they would arrive closer to noon. no call or anything 30 minutes before arrival and no show as of now and it is 12:40pm. they suck at communication and their service is not so great. i will never be using them again and pray to god that i do not have a plumbing issue between now and december. read more

Our daughter's shower didn't work and hot and cold throughout the house was flipping back and forth, so we called Adeedo because they had been fast and great in the past. They responded in minutes and sent our favorite plumber, Min, who arrived early and immediately figured out the problem! He ordered the special parts, returned on time and the shower and hot and cold are working perfectly now! Min takes customer service to a whole other level and we appreciate his attention to detail. Unfortunately this Plumber is highest of anyone I have tried. Years ago they wanted to charge me Thousands($14000 with discount) of dollars to clear my drain, They claimed they needed to add a clean out and would go in through the street and needed permits..on and on. so I got the drain cleaned for 100 bucks and swore not to use them again. However I forgot and recently called them by mistake. More games minimum $240(highest of anyone) with no promises of clearing my drain. they played Walkie Talkie games with "supervisor" to make me feel pressured or special or whatever they wanted me to feel however if you live in a nice neighbor with the appearance of money.. look out. I just rented a Drain snake at Home Depot for 49.00 and did it myself. This time I erased their number from my phonebook to avoid getting scammed in the future read more

Had a great experience with Efren and Kyle. Efren oversaw resolution of a major problem- the sewer connector under my house had corroded and needed to be replaced. probably there original (1924) pipe. A 2 day job, handled like clock work. Kyle handled other repairs- toilet valve, routine maintenance of tankless water heater, and most challenging- tracking down and eliminating water hammer noise that has been occurring every time I turned on the water. Adee Do came out to look at our air conditioning, worked on the wrong unit, and then told us we needed to spend $10,000 to get a new unit. I called my friend from a previous job to come look at it, and he had it fixed an running by changing the filters and pushing a button. They really seemed to have no idea what they were doing... they worked on a unit that wasn't even supplying air to the place with the problem! read more

Do not use Adee Plumbing! They will rip you off. We were having problems with a stuck toilet. I called them to come over but they couldn't get to my house until the next day. By the time they got to our house the problem had resolved itself. But they decided to check it anyway and came up with some convoluted reasons for the blockage. They gave us a price quote of $1,000 which included using a hydro jet to clean out all of the pipes. Unfortunately, my husband agreed to this and they proceeded. When they were done, they said that it will work for a time but that we might need another $1,300 worth of work! Some ridiculous idea that the pipes were not at the right angle. They couldn't provide any video to prove this, by the way. The next day, the toilet was blocked again! We asked them to come back but by the time they came back the problem resolved itself again. I had another person come into check and said that Adee had done nothing to help and that I had wasted my money. And they gave me a video showing that the angles of the pipes were fine. So I called Adee to ask them for at least a partial refund of the $1,000, which they refused. After threatening to put a bad review on Yelp, they said they would give me back $100. Then it went up to $200. I told them forget it because my toilet was clogged again and that I would rather just warn the public against their unscrupulous tactics. I know nothing about plumbing and I'm not going to crawl under my house to verify what they are saying. You just have to trust your plumber to be honest. And you can't trust these guys! By the way, the service was done by Richie and the manager was Mos. GO TO SOMEONE ELSE. read more

Heretofore, I have used Adee for my plumbing problems and always felt the price was somewhat reasonable but a little more expensive than some others. The trade-off was that they were very prompt which can be important with a plumbing problem. They also send out a comment card after the job is done and I have always returned it with positive comments. After my last experience of few months ago, however, no more Adee. I had a problem and the person came out and gave me an estimate of $2000+ to repair it. That seemed excessive to me so I contacted a neighbor in real estate and asked her who she would recommend. That person came out and gave me a $250 estimate. I showed the Adee estimate to him and he said that is what it would cost to replace (whatever it was), but that it did not need to be replaced - merely repaired. The kicker was that I got the same comment card in the mail and I said that because of my experience I went with someone else and might never call them again. I got no response, so not sure what the comment cards are for - to make it appear like they care? read more

I've used A-Dee in years past & found them to be OK, but the current technicians at A-Dee are not knowledgeable, but they ARE dishonest and inexperienced. I had A-Dee install a new shower valve, piping, back plate, faucet & tub spout. They also installed a new water heater at the same time. The job was around $3,300.00. Before dry-walling the hole for the shower valve, I could see water leaking into the wall because the incompetent technician didn't bother to seal behind the back plate. A second A-Dee technician arrived & after he saw the water leaking into the wall, he smeared some grout around the back plate. A few days later, the new faucet started leaking. Another technician arrived & tried to blame the problem on our "bad city water" that has lots of grit that damages the valve. Then, he tried to sell me on a complete copper repipe to fix the problem (which turned out to be due to a defective "new" valve THEY installed. Then the faucet handle became loose & another technician arrived, wiggled it around & said to me, "I don't see what the problem is." (NONE so blind as he who doesn't want to see). My new plumber also noticed that the new water heater that was supplied & installed by A-Dee had a vent that was mounted against the side of the house - which is a fire hazard & would never pass inspection. Do yourself a HUGE favor. Don't call A-Dee for anything. They're not what they used to be. They no longer hire permanent employees who work for them; they send "freelance" roving plumbers who are incompetent. Remember: A-Dee Do Screw You. UPDATE - PREVIOUS ADEE JOB: A few years earlier, ADEE Plumbing relined our discharge pipe that connects to the city sewer. When water started backing up into the house, I phoned my regular plumber - "Ninja Plumber." They inspected the pipe with a camera & found a lot of roots in the pipe. I asked why the roots came back when ADEE relined that pipe four years ago. The Ninja technician explained that ADEE stopped the relining several feet short of the street where the pipe connects to the city sewer & that's what permitted tree roots to grow into the relined pipe. Since ADEE's warranty had not yet expired, I phoned ADEE & their technician arrived. He actually stated that I told ADEE to stop the relining before it reached the street! The most ridiculous lie I've ever heard....Why would I tell a plumbing technician where to stop the reline?? I had Ninja do a trenchless installation of a new pipe - with a lifetime guarantee. During the job, the technician pulled out a HUGE pile of tree roots near the street. read more

Of course we discovered our flooded laundry room on a Saturday morning, right before the holidays, and right before we were headed out of town. Always the way it goes, right? Clogged drain was cleared and plumber told us that if we have any other issues they can come out again to check it out, no problem. This is the letter of compliment that I wrote for the serviceman who visited us recently. I think their prices were fair and they back up their service! I'm writing to compliment the incredible service we received on 6/7 and 6/10 from your serviceman Leo Cuevas. He was professional, courteous and tenacious in providing the best service we have ever seen from a plumbing service! We had a major need for a plumber on the morning on 6/7 and we called a family friend who was a plumber. He came within 2 hours and diagnosed the problem as a major sewage blockage which would take 2 plumbers to take off two toilets to make sure the auger didn't destroy the second toilet. He could not commit the time that day or the following day nor the weekend to fix it. So we called Adee and Leo was sent over within a couple more hours. Not only did he unclog the problem, but he figured out that he just needed to send the auger down further than the first plumber did. That immediately fixed the issue! While he was here we asked him to look at the water pressure issue we had in a second bathroom. We were getting about 15% of the water pressure that should be there and wasn't enough pressure to run the shower. This problem had been looked at by 2 plumbers previously and recently the verdict was that the wall tile had to be torn out completely so that they could get in to tear out pipes. Leo determined that it was bits of soldering that was blocking the cartridge and valves and explained how the hot and cold water mixed and adjusted for the other resulting in low and decreasing water pressure. After running back and forth to the main water shut off valve at least 25+ times, Leo persevered. He wasn't satisfied with the 50% increase in water and was determined to give us the 100% water pressure we are getting now. I watched how he tried all sorts of solutions from back flushing, shutting off the hot water heater and running the sink to flush out the solder. Anyway, whatever he did worked 100% and did not entail him tearing out tile, pipes or anything else. Leo Cuevas is a true professional and an asset to your company and I just had to let you guys know! Thank you and I hope that you have many decades of service from employees like Leo. read more

We had a major disaster where sewage was clogging up all of our pipes. We called Adeedo and they came out immediately to fix the problem. I met with Alfonso who reviewed the problem and assignment the work to Sergio Mora. Sergio Mora and his team performed a second assessment and spoke with Alfonso on the best approach to resolve the problem. Since we have been customers for many years we felt comfortable with the option that Alfonso and Sergio provides us. Once work started Sergio and his team were very methodical efficient in the manner that they handled the problem. Sergio and his team did an excellent job in communicating the phases of the repairs. To our surprise Sergio and his team were able to find that some of the pipe attachments simply needed to be cleared resulting in the showers, sinks and toilet operating perfectly. Hence we want to thank Adeedo, Alfonso and especially Sergio for the excellent work done. read more

IF YOU EVER NEED A RELIABLE REASONABLE PLUMBER seriously CALL ADEE! I've finally found a trustworthy plumbing company! I called Adee because my tile floor in my hallway was bizarrely hot all of a sudden. The plumber arrived at my house ON TIME and promptly identified the problem. He told me that I had a hot water leak under the doorwall of my bathroom. My first thought was, "Oh no way! they have to break open my granite floor tiles????!" But the plumber reassured me that instead of breaking the floor open he could reroute the broken water line from the water heater to my bathroom sink! Thank god!!!! My floor was saved! It was such a relief. They were able to start their work the very next day, which was great! They worked in a very neat and clean manner and were able to finish the job that day. Adee is great! I'm going to just get to the point. ... They Suck! (This is only for Adee Plumbing and Heating in Anaheim, but I'm guessing they are all the same) Setup an appointment at 1pm on Saturday - I even asked the guy who I set the appoinment up with if there was any kind of time window and he said nope, we will be there at 1pm. Guess what happened? You guessed it, nobody showed up. I called at about 1:30 to ask when I could expect them and I was informed that a tech was on his way and would be at my house in a few minutes ... an hour later and still no tech or phone call. Well, I wasn't going to waste anymore time with these tools because I had other plans, so I left. I get a call from Adee Plumbing and Heating about an hour after this and they were very apologetic and their tech was stuck on another job etc, etc ... you know, excuses. Ok, I'll give them another chance because the guy was sorry. A few hours later I get a call from another person from Adee and he goes off on me about not being there for my appointment. I was really confused. The guy claims he was at my house at 1:15 and I wasn't there! I'm guessing it was the tech who called me trying to cover his ass, but I torn into him with a few choice words and basically told them that they can not be trusted. If they are not being truthful to me about an appointment then I seriously doubt I will get the truth about the condition of my heater. I now have an appointment with another company and hopefully this works out, but I'm finding that there are a lot of very poor heating and air companies. Don't use Adee because they are liers and not very trustworthy. Shop around and get at least three quotes and it's not always about the money, but the trust factor. read more

I called on Thursday for a Friday appointment, they said they would call between 9am and 11am Friday. At 11am I called them to see where they were. I was told things were backed up. I said I would wait. At 11:44 I got a call from dispatch that the tech was on his way. At 12:28 I cancelled the appointment because I was too angry to have them in my house. I should have read these reviews first. I know someone will come on to respond to this bad review, so let me tell you something: For the work I requested, I carved out 2.5 hours beginning at 11am. I thought that was generous. When the work hadn't even begun by 12:28, my day was ruined. And when I cancelled, I got a sheepish "I'm sorry" from your dispatcher. Wow. read more
