Was quoted a pretty high price for some basic plumbing repairs (sealing a couple toilets, swapping a shower fixture, and replacing a few pipe/fittings that were not to code). When I asked what was driving the cost I was told that the fittings that needed to be replaced under two vanities would require "a lot of work" to cut into the vanities themselves to allow for the proper hardware. The morning started with water building up in my ceiling (a bathroom on top of a living room in a two-story home), which I first saw at 6 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. Thinking about any professional plumbing service that would come to mind, I called Adeedo (for whatever reason it came up later as JW Heating and Air) at about 7 a.m. They said they would have a plumber out between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. There was no mention of a service charge. The plumber arrived. I never got a call when the plumber arrived, but a Text message, with an agent asking if I can let them. I told them I never got a call. They said they called. I later found that AT&T, my cellphone provider, listed them as spam. That should have been a sign. I went outside to greet the plumber and let him in. He looked at the ceiling, sagging with water and all, and said that it would be a $250 service charge...which would be dropped if I went with their service. I had an emergency service needed, and I didn't have time or the patience to think about the ridiculous service charge, or their failure to mention it--I maybe would have called Downey Plumbing or another reputable plumber instead with a less steep cost of entry. Whatever. The plumber set up his ladder and cleaning area, and knocks a hole in the sagging ceiling, water spills out. He proceeds to knock a bigger hole in the wall so he could look into the ceiling. Reasonable. He peeps his head into the newfound hole in the ceiling and says my drainage pipe is busted and the wood is ruined. And they would need to tear out the ceiling and wall. And proceeded to tell me about two options. One for $8,000 and another for $13,000. I said "you can see all that damage from up there?" he assured me that was the case, and asked if I would like to start service. I told him I'd think it over. I told him I'd pay the service charge. He started to open up the camera app on his phone and said he will charge me later. I demanded he charge me now because I didn't feel comfortable with him having a picture on my credit card on my phone. He charged my card, took his ladder and left. I took my ladder and flashlight from my garage, which he obviously didn't know I had, and looked up there. I could not see a single pipe in there. I called a local plumber friend who was available much later because the water leak seemed to have stopped earlier. After some troubleshooting, and him confirming there was no drainage pipe in my ceiling, we found that the water spout in my bathroom was leaking into the wall. It just needed to be replaced. at $40 tip (even less with a lower quality spout). I would in no way recommended this company. The consultant they sent out, who was unable to do more work than to just break open a ceiling, lied. I will never hire Adeedo or any of their affiliates for any work for my house ever. I understand that bigger plumbers have a higher cost, but lying about damage to get $8,000 or $13,000 in work is ridiculous. And if you do go with this company, I'd suggest at the minimum to get a second opinion to ensure the damage they talked about is legitimate. read more

LESS THAN 18 MONTHS LATER In June 2024 it was taking an entire bath tub full of water to get hot and the pressure was down. WHY? Did they install a used machine? Did the equipment stop working? This is IMPORTANT-- after many calls and three Plumbers IT IS NOVEMBER and there is STILL no explanation or fix. JULY they sent someone and it seemed OK for two months. Not as good as before but good enough. Then, in SEPTEMBER the same issue. I called and it was a hassle but finally, someone came out to fix it. It seemed better for a short time, one month. I was forced to call again in October. It should not take running an ENTIRE BATH only to need to drain it and run another to get hot water. This last guy told me sometimes you have to go outside and release a valve. HUH??! I asked how often and he said I DON'T KNOW. I asked why that happens when it didn't before. His response I DON'T KNOW. He mentioned I might need to buy anothet 10K piece of equipment to make this one work. BUT WHY WHEN IT WAS WORKING BEFORE? That makes no sense. He also said "we may need a specialist!". Doesn't he specialize in plumbing?!? When he left, my bath TUB WAS DRIPPING. Whatever he did my bath now has a leak. I NEVER had a leaking issue before in the seven years I lived in my house. How can a company arrive to FIX an Issue and BREAK something else??? That was Friday and it's now Tuesday.They have Scheduled appointments and not shown up. They have promised to call before arrival and failed to do so. They have sent unqualified plumbers. They have no respect for their clients time or intelligence. WORST OF ALL Instead of fixing the issue, they have now broken the bath tub and it's leaking!!! I was really impressed with the sincere and respectful manner they presented themselves. They were cheerful and humble as they worked with me to get the job the way I wanted it done. They were also very professional and knowledgeable. They always put covers over their shoes when they entered my house and made sure to put down a tarp to prevent any dirt from following them. I almost fell for it ..... I called Service Champions who I have used in the past. Instead, Adeedo showed up. I called initially for a clogged toilet. When the tech showed up I explained the problem. I asked him to use his snake and he said no, he couldn't do that. What??? Are you a plumber? He pulled off the screen from my crawl space, told me that I had a crack in a pipe, water under the house. He said he didn't have a camera with him but would come back the next day with a supervisor who has the camera. The two came back the next day, looked under the house and said yep, you've got a cracked pipe. There were no pictures taken, no images with the "special" camera that the supervisor carries. Just a quote for $14,000 for a cast iron line that they said needed to be replaced. I got a second opinion from an independent plumber assigned by my home warranty company. There is no crack in my pipe. No standing water under my house like I was told. A quick adjustment of my toilet and the problem was solved. The tech and supervisor were very nice, great talkers and used fear to almost get me to commit to ac$14k repair. Be careful. Always get a second opinion. read more

We requested a service to fix a solenoid and repair three PVC small pipes in our backyard. The service charged a $69 charge to come to the house to review it. When they provided an "estimate", it was over $8000, which was 7 times more what I had someone else fix it. Worse, they charged the $69 for their "fee" for offering an outrageous cost. And then, they didn't even provide an invoice showing the $69 as paid, which to me is code that the person just kept the money for himself. read more

I found the service to be responsive, quick, professional and kind. There are some great specials on the Adeedo website, so when we had a sink clog that we could not resolve on our own (and we are pretty savvy), we decided to give them a try. The servicemen were Yony and Omar and they were excellent. Yony cleared out clog from the sink line, then they ran a camera into the main sewer line at no extra charge and found a bigger problem: a clog in the main sewer line about 5' from the clean out. They did not push us to fix it right away, but said we will likely continue to have plumbing issues if not resolved. They will send us a full report with an estimate. But we were very happy with the price we paid for unclogging the drain. read more

I had a plumbing issue and the adeedo technician came over smirked when i said $750 was a high price, the returned and smirked more when he re-quoted $9,000, i had to agree as it was pressing, his guys then spent 48 mins on the fix and left. I negociated and got it down to $2000 after two days on the phone with the service phone team. and the problem was still there, i was done with them, maybe a rogue employee over charging but felt like bad training. January 31st 2025. 4 Plex residential apartment building. 2 of the 4 units effected by a clogged main sewer line (middle to the front of the property). It's an easily accessible main cleanout that should have only taken a few minutes to clear but instead became a "cash cow" job with an unlimited budget. The plumber assigned to the job, knew the assignment: "get as much $$$ as you can..." He started off reluctant on using a two way cleanout access to the main sewer line (I guess that was too easy). He acted like he didn't fully understand what it was. After clearing the"baby wipes" (Yes, "baby wipes" stuck in the main sewer line compliments of a tenant) he apparently re-accessed the situation and arbitrarily snaked out the tub in the middle unit that flushed the "baby wipes.". There was absolutely no reason to do that... wasteful unnecessary money grab in an obvious effort to "up the auntie" and "rack the till" a little bit more to justify $483. Additionally he suggested he might have to charge more money and snake out other access areas that had nothing to do with the clogged main sewer line. Plumber (possible con-artist) had complete control and free rein to do as much or less as he wanted to in slow mode. With clock ticking, no need to make the repair to quickly when you've got a customer on the ropes. Ordinarily I would never consider hiring a plumbing company, but unfortunately I had been sick for greater than 10+ days at the time with core temperature swings of as low as 91.5° to as high as 105.1°. I also spent a total of 3×s in and out of emergency over a period of about 7 days. Yes, many hours at emergency (minimum 8 hours for two non admission days) and including a 2 night admission (drinking bouillon soup). At time this plumber was on the property, I could barely stand or walk and I believe I was hallucinating too. I stayed inside my apartment the entire time of his visit. I have 30+ years of DYI plumbing and own thousands of dollars of tools to repair all plumbing issues in the building (and I'm very good at too). Unfortunately at time of "Slick Willie" plumber's arrival, I barely was able to get out of bed without stumbling all over the place and bouncing off the walls. This plumber took advantage of a very sick customer. In my opinion (lots of experience), he spent unnecessary amount of time on the property. 100% of the $483 was for labor. What labor? How in the world do you justify that? Nowhere on the invoice does the company break down the labor cost per hour (probably knowing none of it would add up). In hindsight, if my brain had been working and firing on all cylinders I would have given this guy a budget of say $200. Example: "You cannot exceed $200 in labor expenses." This guy just decided to just do his own thing, run his own show and upsell the invoice with a lot of idle time. Suggestion. If you should decide to hire this company, agree to an up front budget. Otherwise there's no boundaries with this plumber which I assume is a common teachable practice at this particular Adeedo location. Sloppy crooked management probably has everything to do with this more so than the actual plumber (probably gets pressured by management to do things like this). It feels like a shady operation. Hopefully other Adeedo locations are more honest. Again, best of luck with this company and keep my suggestion in mind about establishing a realistic budget. Because no way no how should a routine ordinary main sewer line that takes an ordinary plumber a few minutes to clear be able to "drum roll" to a final price point of $483. Fool me once, never twice.
