DiLulo's Taqueria looks to be a family taqueria serving fresh Mexican food. The lady working the truck was very nice and friendly. The truck looked clean and well managed. Payments options include most touchless transaction options. For lunch I ordered two tacos: Pollo and Asada. The tacos are full of plenty of protein and topped with cilantro, onions, salsa, and lime. Both meats had good flavor and were tender and juicy. The tacos are served on one corn tortilla. This one tortilla decision is the one bad experience that I had. Getting the tacos to go, after a 10 minute commute, the tortillas started to fall apart because of the juice and heat. Be cautious on to go orders as the tortillas might cause troubles. As a side dish, I ordered the rice. The rice has good flavor and felt fresh. If you are looking for some good Mexican food and you see this truck, I would recommend stopping by. Cheers Always!!

We were quickly greeted and offered drinks, though my unhealthy obsession with Diet Pepsi could not be fulfilled here...they don't carry it (only Pepsi zero). I ordered the huevos con chorizo, that comes with "Mexican " potatoes and refried beans. I received my meal pretty quickly. The downside? It took another 4 minutes before my husband's meal arrived. My eggs were perfectly cooked and the beans seemed very homemade. They had an enticing texture and taste. The potatoes were a great addition, with a nice pan roasted flavor. The meal comes with 3 corn or flour tortillas. Everything was piping hot. I loved every bite of my meal. Once my husband received his meal, he loved the flavor of his burrito as well, especially the rice, beans and nicely toasted tortilla. Each of the tacos was absolutely amazing! The green sauce is really good and not too spicy. The esquites was a little different than I'm used to and was a little more soupy, but also delicious! Horchata is horchata (one of my favorite drinks). Something I really need to talk about are the churros. I consider myself a churro connoisseur at this point, having had hundreds at sporting events, Disneyland, and other festivities. These churros were some of THE BEST CHURROS I have ever had! Service: 5/5. Lorena was very nice and had our order out relatively quickly for all the food we ordered! Great service! Atmosphere: 4/5. The location is interesting and tucked back away from the road. Can be hard to find. The tented area is a great place to sit and you kind of forget you are in a parking lot along a busy road. A good amount of seating. Kid-friendly: 5/5. Great to go or to eat there with kiddos. My 2 year old loves beans and rice and there are plenty of food options for kids.

They failed miserably in the pronunciation but triumphed in demolishing their tacos. Lorena's has been a number of spots in Boise and the current residency is next to the Jack in the Box on Fairview. It's a taco stand with some tables and enclosed patio area. There are signs everywhere about what's on the menu and what are the specials. There are some very notable offerings like Huaraches that are not offered in many taco stands locally. If you are vegetarian or vegan, the beans are made with lard. This is very typical in Mexico and there are a verity of reasons why lard is used in lieu of vegetable oil. Suffice it to say for me, I was relegated to chips and salsa. NOTE: While I could have possible created a Torta minus meat and other items I didn't want to disrupt Lorena's business. My daughter ordered a Barbacoa burrito that was immense. I finally stopped because I felt like I was starving to death and was already getting a headache & I always prefer to frequent a locally-owned business. I wasn't sure where to go to order but a kind gentleman greeted me and invited me inside the bus to sit on one of the benches and went to get Lupita. She came right out and the grill was already hot and she had the masa/dough already made, and I watched her roll a little ball of it and press it flat and cook it in front of me. That was one nice tortilla! I don't think I've ever had one that fresh, fresh off the grill! I had a basic chicken taco with cilantro and onion & lime juice and a bit of the milder green salsa. ¡Es un taco muy delicioso! The prices are comparable to taco trucks I've seen in the area or in Boise and drink prices and the variety offered are reasonable for the area as well. I had a $2 taco & 1.50 guava? nectar canned beverag that was nice and cold. It's the bus parked next to the house on the south side of the American Legion Building, not quite on the corner of 16th Ave South and 2nd St South in Nampa, but almost. As you go around the corner from 16th Ave. south and turn west onto the one-way street of 2nd St South, you'll see it immediately on the right through the parking lot on the corner, so it's very easy to get to and park as well.

The owner makes HOMEMADE tortillas. Not only are they homemade but she actually takes the dough ball, squishes it, and cooks it right there when you order it! We got 4 tacos and a burrito with beef, pork, and chicken as the meats. All were great but my favorite was the pork. So much flavor with just the right amount of meat and fat on it. The salsas also stood out as super flavorful. Not just your typical mediocre, passes as salsa, free salsa. Be careful with the red one though, that one has a serious kick to it! Try it- you won't regret it!
