Our water heater had stopped heating up the water and was leaking from the bottom. I looked on yelp for a water heater repair person. We finally found a plumber we will call again! We have lived in Pasadena since 2011, and we have used multiple plumbing companies with various results. We had major hotel plumbing issues today with one section of our building, toilets and drain being overflowed. Our maintenance tried to snake the pipes for over 5 hours but it just would not work. We were in despair since we had to move our hotel guests to other side of the building and put 20 rooms out of order. I checked yelp right away to find a local plumber and after calling 5 companies, Andy said he can come within 30 minutes! This was around 5:10 pm. I asked him how much would it be and he said around $400 to $500. I agreed after explaining the problem to him, he showed up within 20 minutes. I was shocked that he arrived so quickly! He survey the property and immediately got to work and after about hour and half, he was able to flush out the pipes/drains with his hydro water pressure. He also explained how the hydro water pressure equipment worked. He said it was probably wipes that were flushed down the toilet that cause the major clogging. He reassured me that the drains are clear now and that I don't need to worry for awhile. So please make a note for anyone reading this review to not flush wipes down toilets! I am extremely happy to have picked Andy to work on our major commercial plumbing problem and he truly deserves the 5 star rating. He was super nice, friendly, very knowledgeable, and of course super fast response time. He will be my go to plumber now. We all know how hard it is to find a reliable and trusted plumber. CALL THIS GUY FIRST!!!! I called this company on a Saturday after going through the list of all the other plumbers above. I'm so glad I did not settle for any of the other quotes. Every other plumber wanted to replace our hot water heater costing over $3000. Andy arrived within a few hours, had the replacement part in his van and was able to repair our hot water heater for a couple hundred. While he was here I showed him a few other plumbing jobs around our house that we didn't bother with because other plumbers estimated higher than it was worth to repair. I thought I had taken on an easy project of replacing a bathroom sink faucet... And it turned into a mess. The old one was completely rusted in place. I called three different plumbers. One never called back, one offered to come in SIX WEEKS. Andy called back within an hour or so, and offered to come out the next day. One of the showers in our house was experiencing a leak from the head that was worsening every day, and I wanted to try and fix it myself. So I did what any wannabe DIY person would do: go onto YouTube. I had managed to disassemble the faucet thanks to some help from YT, but I wasn't prepared for the valve and cartridge situation, as there are no videos involving what was in our shower (a very old and unusual unit of unknown brand). The leak only got worse when I tried to put everything back together, and I knew we needed a plumber as soon as possible. I called Adh Plumbing and Andy said he could take a look the next morning. I called him on a Sunday evening, so the fact he picked up and was readily available like that was an immense relief, because seeing the shower worsen from my efforts was very stressful. Later that night I managed to manipulate the shower's shut-off valves properly and stopped the leak (they needed to be pushed in, not screwed tight like most), but something still had to be done about it anyway. Andy arrived a little late thanks to an earlier job taking longer than expected (which happens a lot in this business), but when he did he was wearing a face mask and gloves, which in this pandemic is appreciated. He was also very pleasant from the start. We knew the shower needed replacing, and decided that I'd get a new valve, cartridge, and trim kit and he would install it when I had it. I asked Andy last minute if he could fix the kitchen sink with a loose, wobbly spout and unclog another bathroom's sink, and he handled those both without any hesitation and in decent time with good results. The price for those two tasks was okay; I'm not really sure what is and isn't a good deal in plumbing. Flash forward to the shower installation, and Andy was available to do it again right when it was convenient. He managed to cut out the old valve and install the new one in much less time (1.5 hours) than he previously suggested it might take (2-3 hours). It's been a few days and the new shower works very well so far. He also cleaned out the shower head's piping so now it sprays more efficiently. Andy was also willing to check out some leaky sinks and an odd-flushing toilet in another bathroom right after, and his accommodating attitude was appreciated once more. He didn't charge for examining and tinkering with the toilet (which now works better), and the price for the shower replacement was lower than I thought it'd be, given how labor-intensive it was. On a side note, Andy is very flexible in terms of payment format (he uses Venmo, for one), and communicates actively through messaging, often replying fairly quickly. He's also open to you sending pictures of what you're dealing with so that he can better understand what's going on. The night before the shower installation I had some concerns about the new shower kit I got, and he was very patient and quick to reply with all of my questions. What I took away from hiring Adh Plumbing is that Andy is very good about communicating to customers, is pleasant and accommodating, handles plumbing tasks with competency and efficiency, and charges fair amounts for his work. I'll likely contact him again for any future plumbing jobs. read more

Our shower was taking forever to heat up and also wasn't getting super hot water. We had another plumber come out and said the shower valve needed to be replaced which cost $1300, that was obviously a shock to us so we found Andy on yelp and he came out same day and within the hour he found out the problem quickly and efficiently and didn't even want to charge me but I still tipped him because he was such a great guy. Well our garbage disposal went kaput and bought a new garbage disposal from Home Depot 5/8 is the way to go btw the box said easy install but it sat in the kitchen for 2 weeks along with my honey due list lol. He mentioned that he didn't service our specific model of tankless water heater, but he directed me to call the manufacturer because it was probably under warranty. This turned out to be the correct move. The other place we called was going to charge us $180! It's good to know that Adh isn't in it only to make money. If I could give more stars, I would. Andy at ADH Plumbing was awesome and needs to be your go to plumber. I made an appointment for him to come check out my shower leak. He said it was the cartridges in the handles that control the water and the diverter that switches the water from the faucet to the shower. While he was looking at the problem, he also discovered that the pipe that drains from my tub was leaking underneath my house into the raised foundation. We agreed he'd fix the shower that day and return the following day to repair the piping, and quoted a fair price for both jobs. My father-in-law, who is a general commercial contractor, even commented that it was a great price. Here's the bonus though. A couple days after everything was fixed, I noticed water was leaking from behind the wall through a section of cracked sealant. I called Andy that night and he came the following day. He double checked his previous work, which looked fine. Then he checked the pipe that the shower head was attached to and found the seal was either gone or worn away. He fixed it and DID NOT CHARGE ME! This was a new problem and not part of the work he had previously done. This is what I call customer service. Someone that won't nickel and dime you for stupid stuff. ADH will be my go to plumber as long as I live in the area they service and even then, I'll see if he'll travel. read more
