Called Gopar's plumbing when my sink faucet water line burst all of a sudden. He came within a couple hours and replaced the entire faucet since the water lines are permanently connected to faucet. I picked up faucet at Home Depot and plumber installed it with new water lines within a half hour. Excellent work and very efficient. Price was way less than I was expecting. Honest as they come. So today, Gopar's plumbing came out to figure out why our toilet was bubbling. Instead of running a camera first, he looked at the check valve we had in our front yard and sewage started seeping out. Then he went into our neighbor's yard and found the sump pit was full and that was the cause (our sewage goes into our neighbor's pit ... don't ask). We had recently had the pump serviced and he said to get back in touch with them and gave us some info on what he thought was likely the failure route. And this was just his initial inspection. Notice that he didn't come out and first run a camera through the pipes and charge us for it. Instead, he used his brain/experience to figure it out and he didn't charge us because he said we should get the company that serviced the pump to redo their work properly. I found Gopar's Plumbing on Yelp after posting a project to install a smart toilet in our new home. Several companies responded, but pricing was all over the place and some replies raised concerns. Donato was clear, knowledgeable, and fairly priced. He even met me at Home Depot to pick up the smart toilet. He also installed a new faucet in the guest bathroom. The existing vanity had scratches and buildup, and he went above and beyond to carefully clean and restore the surface so the new fixture shined. I called Gopar's Plumbing first thing in the morning after one of the bathroom sink water supply valves suddenly broke off, causing water to spew out and started to flood the bathroom floors. Spoke to Donato and texted pictures to get an estimate. The recommendation was to fix both anchor stops and supply valves based on the condition and professional advice that the other one that's "good" will soon cause problems. Advice taken and showed up within the 30-min timeframe. Donato is a complete professional: he put on shoe covers before entering, laid down the necessary bucket and materials neatly, and cleaned/hauled away the old pieces. As a courtesy, Donato also checked the water pressure and recommended installing a water regulator sometime in the future. It's great to find a professional plumber who has transparent pricing, shows up on time, clearly communicates the issue and resolution, and well-mannered. Donato went above and beyond when replacing my shower valve system! I was having issues with the hot water pressure and needed the system to be replaced. After inspecting the system, he installed shut off switches so my unit can shut off water without needing to ask my building to shut off my entire stack's water. He was very careful and diligent with everything. He even cut the drywall to access the valve so neatly that he was able to place it back in place. This is one of those hidden Gem contractors you're hesitant to share because they will get all the work and prob. won't have time for you anymore, lol, but in all fairness they deserve the good review. They have all the qualifications one would be looking for: reliable, punctual, clean, excellent quality of work. You will find other plumbers that will do work for less, but honestly low-bidding your own house work is something you'll pay in the long run (had to call them to repair some of this low-bid work), so better to hire good contractors that will charge for quality of work. Donato Gopar was the plumbing subcontractor for my two residential renovations that were from the studs up and for new construction (5 bathrooms!) on my 2500 square foot house and 1600 square foot RV Garage and shop building.
