I want to give the HIGHEST praise to Takeyah from adidas customer service--her compassion, professionalism, and problem-solving skills turned a deeply frustrating situation into a moment of real gratitude. While I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Aurora adidas store, where team members Josh and Selma showed little interest in helping me resolve a serious issue (including failing to offer contact info for a district manager and dismissing my concerns about a missing item), Takeyah stood out as a shining example of what customer service SHOULD look like. From the moment she answered the phone, Takeyah was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping me--even though the issue didn't stem from her store. She listened with care, didn't pass judgment, and immediately assured me she would escalate the matter to the appropriate team. And she followed through. She didn't know who I was. She didn't know I'd be writing this review. She was simply doing what she believed was right. That's the kind of integrity and heart that deserves recognition, promotion, and praise. Employees like Takeyah should not go unnoticed. She represents the adidas brand beautifully--not just when someone is watching, but especially when no one is. I sincerely hope adidas uses this as a training opportunity. Josh and Selma from the Aurora store could learn a lot from Takeyah's approach. I purchased a pair of women running shoes online and had them delivered to the Outlet store in Aurora, IL, as the first pair was listed as delivered at my front door, but it was never delivered. I checked my camera. When the shoes were delivered at the Outlet, I picked them up and tried them on in-store. They did not fit, so I stood in line to return them and was told I could not. I had to start the return process online. I stepped out of line and went outside to call Customer Service, who stated not all locations have the ability to start the return process. She had to issue a label, then I had to box the box of shoes and take it to a Federal Express store. She also reminded me it could take 21 days to complete the process and receive a refund. Addias you have to do better! To not allow a customer to return the shoes immediately, and then purchase a box and take it to a Federal Express location is unacceptable. I will never shop at Addias store again, nor will I recommend it to anyone because customer satisfaction is not in your policy. Very disappointing. read more

Hard to believe that I found a shoe that works for me. Great fit, comfy, thick sole and washable. Growing up I would grab this shoe or that shoe because it matched an outfit that I was wearing. But, my feet hurt so bad at the end of the day. Didn't really think anything of it because the brands were so popular. Being a little older and a lot wiser, my priority is comfort. I have literally put miles on the Adidas Ultra boost and they still feel brand new to me, like a comfy pair of socks. No foot pain at the end of the day. So glad this store has everything I love at prices I can smile about. read more

My first time visiting an Adidas store. I was not dissapointed in my visited. Even better, I came on a day when they were having an exclusive sale which was why this place was such an attraction. They had such phenomenal styles and fashions. The staff here is very friendly and laid back. They are at least knowledgeable about their inventory. The store is really large on top of it so you can honestly browse this place for hours. Definite reccomend. (4.5 stars) read more

Update to my return. I'm not sure if my returned items were ever found. I called the store again and got a different person and he took action right away. He was in touch with me and Adidas. By the end of day I was refunded for my return. My son likes Adidas cleats so I will continue to shop Adidas. I will wait in line to make an online return or take it to the post office. read more

I don't wear a lot of Adiddas but wandered into this store at the outlet mall when the rain picked up. It was really nice. Lots of merchandise which was nicely displayed and organized. I was impressed and when I have more time will happily browse more in one of the Adiddas stores. This stores location is near parking lot as well. read more

I made the trek out here to make a return and pick up a few things. On first impression, I was impressed with the size of the store. I was expecting to find mostly older items or things that didn't sell at the regular stores, but this store really has a good selection and a little bit of everything. They have new releases as well as older items that are hard to find online. They have a full range of sale and inexpensive items up though top of the line shoes and popular apparel at regular price. I went on a week day and the store was still pretty busy but comfortable enough where you could still walk around and see everything. It was well organized for the most part. Most of the items are on sale and they often have additional promotions going on like buy one, get one 50% off. Making a return was pretty easy and checkout was fast. I would definitely recommend this store if you are a fan of adidas and would like to see and try on shoes and apparel in person. read more

Staff was very polite. However, even though I was wearing a face shield I was asked to leave the store because it was not a MASK. Last I checked a face shield is still a face covering. No other business as ever taken issue with it. read more

I live 50 miles away from this store I went and I bought a pair of ultra Boost from this location turns out that the shoes were both right sided shoes so I call them they don't have the other shoe and all they can do is give me my money back when I'm spending more money on gas than on shoes and I can't even get the right shoes read more

Asked for help in finding my sons size. Asked the young kid, he went into the back, came out and said sorry we don't have any. My other son asked for the same shoe in a different size, he brought them out. So my older son decided decided to try the same shoe but a half size difference. The kid told me the biggest the had in stock was a 10. I said "you just brought out an 11". He states "Oh well then that was the last one". I told him its ok you stand here and chat with ur buddy, I will find someone else to help me. Asked another guy, he brought out the size we asked for in the first place!!! Decent selection, but I can't remember the last time I've bought something from here. I like Adidas tracksuits and some of their shoes in fun colors so I usually take a look when I'm at this outlet. It would be nice if they had a more inspiring, stylish display case. read more

Horrible service. 15 workers just sitting there and one cashier. Not even acknowledging that there is a customer in line.

Terrible employer. They expect high school aged employees to work 9+ hour days until 2am on multiple school nights per week. Employees are to block out any days or times they can not work several weeks in advance via an online scheduling system. This would be great if they respected their employees. Instead, they schedule employees to work on days and times which the employee blocked-out. When you point out to the manager this discrepancy, you are told that you are expected to work whenever the company needs you too. I'm all for hard work and being responsible. But, I'm not supportive of slavery. Do not shop hear unless you want to support the Adidas slave trade. read more

Poor selection of women's apparel. The store is focused primarily on men only. From shoes to clothes. And the wait time is ridiculous. Lines to checkout all the way to back of store! Poorly staffed and organized. And the deals aren't any better than online. Disappointed. read more
