Love this outlet store. First of all, it doesn't feel like an outlet store. It feels like a normal one. The layout is easy to navigate, the displays are aesthetically pleasing, and there is variety in the items so that it doesn't feel like the store is stocked with simply excess product. Second, the staff is ON POINT. I was greeted at least 3 times, asked by someone if I needed any help, and when I left, 2 people said bye. Third, The music is so good. Hip hop and some RnB. I love shopping at this Adidas Outlet store with the bumping' hip hop & some RnB music echoing in the background because it just sets me in the mood to have fun shopping like a boss. The clothing sections were organized by zones for men, women & children which made it much easier for our family to navigate & spot what we were looking for compared to the other sports stores at The Outlet of Orange. Not only the layout was easy to navigate but the displays are aesthetically pleasing as well just like the regular Adidas Stores. The staff are very hospitable & always asking us if we needed help finding anything. I was greeted by every staff/team member & when I left; every staff/team member who saw me said "BYE". My family just has a new addiction for shopping at any Adidas Stores because I get an extra 20% off with my military ID so everything is even more reasonably affordable for me to style my kids. Any discounts really help PERIOD because my kids are obsessed with the 3 stripes from head to toes. Adidas is one of the few store who offers 20% discounts. When returning shoes the following day in their original box with a receipt they would mot issue the return, exchange, give a credit, or refund the money without some merchandise tag that was never on the box to begin with. Came in today on a Saturday night to browse around. After seeing some of the deals they had going on in store we decided to take a look at some shoes. We were helped out today by three different employees that were all exceptionally amazing. I would like to thank Jackie, Melvin, and Raya for the great customer service over at the shoe department. They all work so diligently and were very attentive when helping out a customer. Limited styles but this review is for customer service. I was here the other day to do an exchange on a brand new jacket. The person helping me made it difficult to exchange the item when it's the same style as if I'm doing something wrong, which made me feel slightly offended by his hesitant demeanor. He should be more helpful and accommodating, not hesitant and unfriendly. I remember customer service was a lot better back then when the staff was more diverse in ethnicities. It's disappointing what's happened to these companies' standards now...seems like they have none. I'd keep coming back and would have recommended this store to my friends and family had they been more empathic and customer oriented. But after what I've experienced, I'm not coming back. Thank you for your professionalism, Patricia. ---- Now I understand people who say "I wish I could give 0 stars!" because that is definitely how I feel. DO NOT SHOP HERE... here's why... They'll charge you for items they never actually GIVE YOU. Yet, they'll claim that they did and tell you that they can even send you the surveillance video of it, yet 20 min later, back down and say ohh wait NVM we can't do that. Let me begin, recently they've been having a 50% off sale (COVID-19 sale) so I had been making a couple of purchases. On a couple occasions I went with my dad. This last Monday August 3rd we went in again to return some items he had purchased on a previous visit. We were at the cash register ready to exchange along with other items to purchase. My dad decided to grab another pair of 3/4's pants for my cousin who was shopping with us. The cashier, Claudia, rang us up and we went home. Sounds about right? right? Wrong. We arrive home and my dad notices that there is only one pair of the 3/4's pants in his bag. So I thought ok, maybe Claudia got confused and threw a pair with the return items we had. So we just decided we would call the next day since it was already past closing time. I called the next day and was not able to speak to anyone. I left a voice message this was on August 4th. The next day, August 5th, it was already about 5pm almost 24 hours since we left the message and we had not heard from any Adidas team member. We decided to go to the store, we arrived around 6:20. We went up to the cash register and a guy helped us, I didn't get his name, but he spoke to Martha, as she was the one standing by the door, I believe she's the shift manager or something. The guy took our info down and he said they were going to check surveillance. I said ok, he asked us to wait off to the side. . Well, by the time it got close to 7:00pm, Martha, looks our way and approaches us (we were standing in front of her, waiting, the ENTIRE TIME, and she says... "Are you guys waiting for something?" mind you the fact that it was RUDE, I hated that she acted like she had no idea, when she KNEW EXACTLY why we were there, as she had seen us at the cash register since we were at the one closest to the stores exit. I then told her that she couldn't be this OBLIVIOUS, she KNEW we were there. So she apologized. Ok cool. She then told me that unfortunately they would need more time. She mentioned that Patricia, another manager, would reach out to us the next day, August 6th. Guess what? No one reached out. NO ONE. Not even a courtesy call to say that they still hadn't checked the cameras. So today August 7th, I called again. I asked to speak to Patricia or Martha. Unfortunately, Martha was the one that was there. So they transferred the call to her. I told her who I was and told her that Patricia/Trisha never reached out to me. She said they still hadn't gone through the surveillance cameras and needed more time going through it. Kind of odd. Receipt has a time stamp. It doesn't take this long to search surveillance. This became even more evident after our first phone call this morning, August 7th, she then says she will have Patricia keep me updated on every step of the way. Yet, 30 minutes later, Martha, calls me and says she has looked at the surveillance cameras! WOW! She was going on and on about how it takes SUCH a long time, yet she had it done in 30 minutes! Yet, she didn't do this since August 5th! The day we waited over 40 minutes physically at the store! ! Anyways, she goes on to say that the item was placed in our bag and that in checking the surveillance cameras she is able to see that. To which I say, ok wow, so I guess it disappeared on the way home???? LIKE LADY WHY WOULD WE LIE TO YOU ABOUT A PAIR OF PANTS THAT WERE 50% OFF IN THE FIRST PLACE!! Do you really think we're trying to "come up on something" or what??? So then she says that she is able to provide me pictures of the surveillance, I said ok thanks and provided her my email. WELL WELL WELL few minutes later she calls and tells me NVM she can't do that. She then ends the call by saying I can reach out to customer service. I'm 100% sure she knew what she was doing because customer service said they can't help me. If she's a shift manager she should know this by now, but who knows cuz she's completely OBLIVIOUS AND RUDE. After reading comments on here about how rude she is. I have to agree. She even yelled at a couple employees in front of customers/us. Be more professional. Don't yell at employees in front of customers. That's like common sense. Martha or Patricia have yet to resolve this issue. There's no solution yet. I am not going to accept the fact that the company YOU represent is keeping MY MONEY AND THE ITEM that I clearly PAID for. Adidas products sell themselves, so the one star is for the service provided. During a time where a lot of businesses struggle to fully-staff their stores long lines and waits are understandable. What is not, is; lack of courtesy and empathy. Please understand that the customers waiting in line for 20-minutes to pick-up an on-line order may arrive to the front of the line irritated. The lack of greeting, smile, or apology was noticed. The lack of urgency in completing transactions was seen (and felt). Stopped by this location after a trip to Disneyland. Hands down it was awesome!! They had some great deals, and we left the store coming out a winner!! My wife got a pair of ultraboost for $78.00, and we also got matching track jackets and socks. Overall we ended up spending $140 out the door!! I'm just another person who has had nightmare service at this store. Such a terrible, lazy, and unfriendly group of employees to deal with. I actually timed it waiting 15 minutes as the only customer in line. I was purposely very polite when I asked if I could get some help, and was given a very rude response to just wait. There was a lot more rude comments that I don't want to bore everyone with, but all I wanted to pay for my items. I reminded the girl before I left that I was very unhappy with the way the people working at the store treated me, but that I was very polite, did not yell or swear. I was very respectful and don't like to spend time doing reviews. After my treatment today, and reading the comments above this is common behavior here. Everytime I come here, I can never seem to find anyone to help me. I know this place is pretty busy but you'd think they'd hire more help. I've grown accustomed to coming here and finding things and reaching up high to get what I need but today the customer service I received from Jenna or Jennel, was AWFUL. I was in line and she didn't call me over to her register, just stared at me like "well are you coming or not" then once I got up to her didn't say hello or hi, gave me my price and when I asked my purchase was additionally discounted, she rudely answered me no, thats the price. We're a couple with a baby stop by this store on Sunday morning 12/06/20. The line was long and we had to wait 30 minutes to get into the store. Store had to follow the new in house capacity rule ordered by Newsom. We understand that. My wife selected an item that was on a discount shelf all the way to the back. Original price was 150 and it was tagged 90. They ran a promo 40% on all items except for some new products. The shoes my wife selected, box was blue color and all teared off. We came to the register to pay for our items. The cashier Asian young lady said that "1 customer at the register and my wife had to step out of the store". We were fine with that. Then the young lady was like "oh i can't sell you this item with 40% discount on top of the sale because the item is already discounted from 150 to 90". I told them that this is messed up because the item was put it in a discount section. I told them that I need to ask my wife to come inside the store so she could get another shoes. However, the Vietnamese employee lady at the front stopped us, said that "oh since you have already stepped out the store, we can't let your wife in". I told them "the young Asian cashier lady sent my wife out and we haven't finished our shopping yet" but they said "oh we have to follow the new in house capacity order by Newsom". I thought I was the only one with a bad experience but after reading these reviews, I realized the store has bigger issues. Martha (at the Orange Store) one of the shift managers, is rude and dismissive without any willingness to provide customer service. While on the phone waiting, she continually put the CB on the phone with volume high. She then was to busy to look into an online situation for me and asked me what the online inventory says. Abrasive, rude, and comes across as if a she either hates her job or she's too overwhelmed. If by now the store hasn't rectified the customer service situation, they probably don't care. My partner and I drove all the way down here (an hour away) just to get shoes for our hiking trip. This was the soonest we could go and even called to make sure they were open still. Sure enough, we get there and the person in the front tells us they've reached capacity for the day (only a couple people in there so we're guessing they wanted to close on time) and to try again tomorrow. We mentioned we already knew what we wanted and we'd be quick since we drove that far and still had well enough time before they closed. He refused. We understand during COVID times they have certain regulations to follow, but it would have been nice to warn your customers coming from far places the chance of closing early. Some other reviewers have mentioned the poor service and I found that to be absolutely true. There were FIVE to SIX employees behind the counter at the cash registers and yet only one of them (a young man) was ringing customers up. The others were all young women who just talked to each and fidgeted around with boxes or stuff at the counter, acting like there wasn't a customer waiting to just pay and get in their way! It was sad that he had to apologize for my wait when I finally got to the thirstier. Just one of those girls could have jumped to action and said, "I can help the next person!" and there would have been no need for apology... The only bright spot to this store besides the outlet pricing was a salesperson on the floor named Wes. He was polite, he checked in a couple times without being pushy when I thought I didn't need help and when I approached him later with a question, he was still friendly, knowledgeable and I could tell he genuinely liked the product. I told them the staff told me and i just want to make sure. They made me feel like a liar especially by the manager who said the staff is now denying he ever said what was told me.
