We don't have a gluten intolerance, but I thought I'd checkout this small local business. It's a cute place, but what I noticed quickly was their pricing seemed very high. I'm comparing to nicer bakery pricing and not gluten free bakeries, so maybe their high prices are bc its all gluten free. Either way, $18.25 for Sourdough boule or a loaf seem exorbitant. We bought 2 everything bagels for $4.5 each to try. They were smaller than a typical bagel and were priced at 2x what a larger bagel costs at a bakery. They were crunchy on the outside, but a bit dense and didn't have the chew that makes a bagel so beloved. Something that really turned me off is that they have a freezer section that holds larger quantities of items like 4 bagels and other bread options, but none of these items were discounted. When the business is closing and has unsold products, they group them together and move them to the freezer so they don't spoil. That's great, wasting food is a sin. But what I don't understand is why the business doesn't offer those items at a discount, so it's a win win for both the customer and the business. At the prices they advertise, I don't see how they can keep regular customers.

YAH! 100% Gluten Free Bakery in St. Pete! Soo excited to take some time and try everything! On my first visit I passed by 3 times. For those challenged people like myself, it's in the same building as the brewery..it's connected to it. You'll see the sage green of the brewery and the black. They are the black store front. I selected one bagel bite (everything seasoning), one sesame bagel, one dinner roll, and peanut butter cookies. Everything Bagel Bite - the bagel bite it self was good, but three of us tried it and thought there was too much "Everything" it was over powering. Sesame - All three of us really enjoyed this bagel. They are not gluten free and bakers ..so they are not the biggest fan of gluten free food, but they said they would buy this. Dinner roll- it has a nice crust on the outside and is soft and squishy on the inside. I am GF and really enjoyed this roll. I loved being able to squish it with my fingers and pull it apart, just like a regular roll. Peanut Butter Cookies - LOVE them! They get extra credit points for using Miyoko's dairy free butter! YES! They are gluten and diary free! WAHOOO! I am looking forward to trying all of their breads! They have sourdough, Rye that is not Rye and I think a couple of others. PLEASE SHOW UP AND SUPPORT this baker! Rent is high in St Pete and it takes an incredible amount of time and money to grow a place like this. If we want more of this in our community we need to keep showing up for them to help them grow!

Such a beautiful place and delicious food

WHAT A TREAT - A HIDDEN GEM How was this blocks away from my work this whole time? Stepping into Adieu Glu transports you to a Parisian Bistro - beautiful freshly baked breads made daily - a rotation of different sweets and specialty breads, foccacia, pizza dough, dinner rolls, buns, which changes daily. The bagels are to die for, and I have caught on quickly that if you dont call ahead and order or come early - they sell out FAST! Also prepare yourself for the BEST salted chocolate chip cookies you've ever had in your life.... and the best part its its all 100% gluten free! And so many of their menu items are naturally vegan - just ask! Over the 2 times we have been we have tried the millet sourdough, keto dinner rolls, cinnamon babka, earl grey creme brulee, the chocolate chip & peanut butter cookies, and the bagels. As someone with a wheat allergy its such a relief to go somewhere knowing theres no risk of contaminants! As a mom - I LOVE being able to go somewhere I can have a treat too where my kids have NO IDEA anything is gluten free - Just Delicious! Anytime I start driving toward downtown St. Pete my 6 year old now asks me - Mom, are we near the cookie bakery? Can we go?! The staff is informative and friendly - Deb the owner is so kind and it seems like she has a special connection with each customer who comes through the door! Will definitely be regulars!

I'm happy to say I was very pleased with how the quiche of the week here tasted. The flavor happened to be spinach and mushroom. It was everything I hoped for--savory, hot, and perfectly balanced with spinach, flaky crust, and whatever magical "egg" substitute/binder they use. For $10 you get the quiche plus a potato salad which tasted better than I expected, mild, full of texture, and pairing well with the soft flavorful quiche. I also got a half Chickpea bakon salad ($12) which was generously loaded with ranch dressing and tasted fresh. All in all, made for a filling and delicious meal. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and overall the place gives comfortable vibes. Service was quick despite being a popular spot on the Sunday I went. The staff members were very friendly and greeted/thanked customers for visiting. The bathroom was clean, and there was free wifi and some charging outlets for those who want to get some work done.

There's dedicated parking for the restaurant behind the building in the lot, plus metered street parking and garages within less than a block. The main entrance is on the side of the building, on 5th Street S just off 6th Avenue S. Outdoor seating is available, but I personally wouldn't choose it, sitting right next to a busy intersection with constant traffic and exhaust isn't my idea of enjoyable. That said, the interior ambiance alone is worth the visit. Inspired by the historic George Peabody Library and part of the Oxford Commons Hospitality group, the design is quirky, fun. The thoughtful mix of bookshelves, warm lighting, rich browns and deep blues, and the seamless blend of library, bar, and dining space creates a truly special atmosphere, especially if you love books. We visited as part of a large group for a special occasion dinner. They accommodated us on very short notice after our original plans changed due to possible rain and outside seating only at our first reservation, which was impressive. Our waitress was fantastic, she handled our entire table (and others) by herself with no buss person and still managed every order and individual request with genuine care and efficiency. I haven't tried breakfast, lunch, the morning coffee/pastry take-out window, or the bar yet, but the dinner experience was excellent. Fair warning: this is not a budget-friendly spot. If you're watching every dollar or might resent the food due to prices, it's probably not the place for you. It's ideal for special occasions or when you want to enjoy a meal without worrying about the cost, each dish/cocktail is in line with upscale dining in the area,it does add up quickly with drinks, apps, entrees, and sides, though I read they have happy hour. We ordered appetizers (shared), I also had the opportunity to sip a few cocktails (when offered), I also shared entrees, and sides with some of our group. Everything we tried was very good, there were not stand-outs, all was scrumptious, from the start of appetizers: the warm bread with its delicious butter spread, the roasted cauliflower, the spicy crispy shrimp, the Steak Frites, the perfectly cooked French fries, and the sautéed spinach, all of which I had a taste of personally. The portions looked modest on the plates but were surprisingly filling, many of us had leftovers to take home. We finished with the warm cookie and ice cream, which was hands-down amazing, especially with the perfect touch of flaky salt on top. The cocktails were strong and creative. My first choice (suggested by the waitress) wasn't quite to my taste, it was too tart and strong for me, but she immediately removed it from the bill and happily brought me something else I enjoyed much more. Overall, The Library delivers a memorable experience, amazing ambiance, a beautiful setting, attentive service, and excellent food. Next time I'm trying breakfast.

The restaurant is uniquely decorated with floor-to-ceiling books and those old-world aristocratic portraits that make you feel like you've stepped into a quaint literary hideaway. We were seated in a cozy corner with high-backed cushioned chairs that felt like our own little private nook. Perfect for a special occasion that's kind of low key. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the noise level was surprisingly low, which we really appreciated. It made it easy to relax and enjoy our time without feeling overwhelmed. Service was also great - attentive, friendly, and well-paced despite the crowd. Now, the menu... it was honestly hard to choose because so many items sounded amazing. We ended up ordering the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the warmed Burrata to start. The Brussels Sprouts were flavorful and enjoyable, though I personally would have loved just a bit more char on them for that extra depth. The burrata, on the other hand, was packed with flavor - especially if you're a fan of sun-dried tomatoes, this is definitely a must-try. The drinks were a standout, my lychee martini was light, smooth, and refreshing, while my husband's old fashioned was bold and perfectly crafted. He is quite the stickler for a good old fashioned. For our mains, my husband kept it classic with a bacon cheeseburger and fries, which he really enjoyed. It had that delicious smash burger style that hits the spot. I ordered the Chicken Paillard, and it was absolutely delicious--light, fresh, and full of flavor without feeling heavy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and agreed that we'd definitely come back. There were still so many dishes we were tempted to try, and that's always a great sign. The Library is a unique and memorable spot that's perfect for brunch, date nights, or any special occasion. Give it a try!
