The owner cares so much about what she offers to the public and people who are gluten sensitive, the bread is out of this world, the bagels are out of this world for somebody that's got a gluten sensitivity. This would be heaven. She had her last day in business. Let's hope she comes back. But what a great experience I had with her staff, the food, the ambience of the place is warm and welcoming. Really cute bakery in downtown!! They specialize in obviously gluten free baked goods but had also dairy free, soy free and other modifications for all diet types. All the staff was so nice and my bagel and cream cheese was delicious. The inside is quaint, has a few tables and a couch. It was rainy the day we went so I couldn't take advantage of the patio they have as well. Definitely recommend this stop for a slow morning where you can soak everything in! read more

What a wonderful hidden gem! I love this 100% gluten free bakery. It's a cute, quaint little place, nicely decorated and completely safe for those with food allergies. The owner is always there and has a smile on her face! They have amazing salt and everything bagels that pair with some of the best butter and sour cream I've had. My fiancé does not have to be gluten free so he can have a bagel anywhere but this place is his favorite. Oh and they are doing a new item for Christmas! We don't have a gluten intolerance, but I thought I'd checkout this small local business. It's a cute place, but what I noticed quickly was their pricing seemed very high. I'm comparing to nicer bakery pricing and not gluten free bakeries, so maybe their high prices are bc its all gluten free. Either way, $18.25 for Sourdough boule or a loaf seem exorbitant. We bought 2 everything bagels for $4.5 each to try. They were smaller than a typical bagel and were priced at 2x what a larger bagel costs at a bakery. They were crunchy on the outside, but a bit dense and didn't have the chew that makes a bagel so beloved. Something that really turned me off is that they have a freezer section that holds larger quantities of items like 4 bagels and other bread options, but none of these items were discounted. When the business is closing and has unsold products, they group them together and move them to the freezer so they don't spoil. That's great, wasting food is a sin. But what I don't understand is why the business doesn't offer those items at a discount, so it's a win win for both the customer and the business. At the prices they advertise, I don't see how they can keep regular customers. read more

YAH! 100% Gluten Free Bakery in St. Pete! Soo excited to take some time and try everything! On my first visit I passed by 3 times. For those challenged people like myself, it's in the same building as the brewery..it's connected to it. You'll see the sage green of the brewery and the black. They are the black store front. I selected one bagel bite (everything seasoning), one sesame bagel, one dinner roll, and peanut butter cookies. Everything Bagel Bite - the bagel bite it self was good, but three of us tried it and thought there was too much "Everything" it was over powering. Sesame - All three of us really enjoyed this bagel. They are not gluten free and bakers ..so they are not the biggest fan of gluten free food, but they said they would buy this. Dinner roll- it has a nice crust on the outside and is soft and squishy on the inside. I am GF and really enjoyed this roll. I loved being able to squish it with my fingers and pull it apart, just like a regular roll. Peanut Butter Cookies - LOVE them! They get extra credit points for using Miyoko's dairy free butter! YES! They are gluten and diary free! WAHOOO! I am looking forward to trying all of their breads! They have sourdough, Rye that is not Rye and I think a couple of others. PLEASE SHOW UP AND SUPPORT this baker! Rent is high in St Pete and it takes an incredible amount of time and money to grow a place like this. Stepping into Adieu Glu transports you to a Parisian Bistro - beautiful freshly baked breads made daily - a rotation of different sweets and specialty breads, foccacia, pizza dough, dinner rolls, buns, which changes daily. The bagels are to die for, and I have caught on quickly that if you dont call ahead and order or come early - they sell out FAST! Also prepare yourself for the BEST salted chocolate chip cookies you've ever had in your life.... and the best part its its all 100% gluten free! And so many of their menu items are naturally vegan - just ask! Over the 2 times we have been we have tried the millet sourdough, keto dinner rolls, cinnamon babka, earl grey creme brulee, the chocolate chip & peanut butter cookies, and the bagels. As someone with a wheat allergy its such a relief to go somewhere knowing theres no risk of contaminants! As a mom - I LOVE being able to go somewhere I can have a treat too where my kids have NO IDEA anything is gluten free - Just Delicious! I have been a longtime customer of Deb's before she moved into this newer, beautiful, French cafe style bakery. The only gf bagels I've ever had that don't leave me sad - and they kept me thriving every morning, I swear, during 3 years of nursing my baby Everything she creates is sourced and made with the upmost care and attention to quality and details. My wife is a celiac. I am not. We stopped in here for the first time last week. We got a few bagels. The bagels were very good and not just for gluten free bagels ... they are good against any bagel. My wife said they are the best GF bagels she has found anywhere. There are places that make bagels with gluten whose bagels I prefer but I would take these over at least 75% of the glutenous bagels out there too. Service was friendly. Check the hours before heading over, they are closed 3 days a week I think. read more

Highly recommend the breads and fresh baked goods at Adieu-glu!! Friendly and professional team, always willing to help and they also take pre-orders which we do from time to time for larger orders. They also offer frozen items. Dinner rolls are light, soft and perfect, never heavy or dense. The chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies are delicious. My wife and I heard about this gem from another couple the day before so we drove all the way from Trinity area to visit. We had not been able to find a true gluten free bakery As my wife and I are gluten sensitive so when we eat out we ask a lot of questions. The owner Debra has truly crafted high quality artisan breads, pastries, baguettes and pizza crusts In order to help people with either celiac and/or gluten sensitivities as she herself having her own personal experience with celiac disease. We tried their gluten free bagels and their organic butter and organic cream cheese. The bagels were NOT hockey pucks! I'd put them up against any NY bagel [as I'm originally from NY City area and finding a good bagel down here is like finding Neptune's Treasure]. You can't even tell they're gluten free! The butter and the cream cheese you can just eat spoonfuls by itself as they were creamy without the garbage added to them. Assisting us in finding out the ingredients and helping us understand how the bakery products are made was Hillary. She was beyond sweet and informative and helped us understand how the products are all made. She also told us how to warm the bread when we open the frozen baguettes and bread loaves. Both ladies complement each other perfectly. We took home an almond cake with a sliver of mango on top which was basically "Gone in 60 Seconds" and my wife loooovvveed the Babka! The atmosphere is quaint and inviting. Stopped here right before they closed on Sunday and got an everything bagel, a plain dinner roll, and a cranberry walnut roll. Everything was so delicious. I had the blessing of meeting deb (owner and master baker of adieu-glu) through physical therapy. I expressed to her how I really missed eating bread. Being gluten free I was struggling to find a true "gluten free bread" that tasted good and didn't upset my stomach. She told me her story and how she was starting her new business and right off the bat I wanted to support her and couldn't wait to try her product. Let me tell you guys this is THE BEST BREAD I have EVER had and it has never upset my stomach. From the sourdough which is the so soft and fluffy with the perfect outside crust, to the bagels and cupcakes she makes. Everything is to die for and made with so much love. My whole family can't get enough of the Artisan Sourdough, sliced thin and toasted with avocado or other toppings, or as a grilled cheese sandwich (my fav). The flavor and chewy crust is delicious. My mom-in-law loves the Seeded 100% Whole Grain because of the density and quantity of seeds. It is great toasted,too. The bagels are thick and fluffy and we put them in the toaster twice to get them crispy the way we like. The keto buns with walnuts and cranberries are soft and yummy. I want to try them in French Toast casserole next time. I usually get a couple of loaves at a time and freeze one, but it only lasts in the freezer a day or two because someone sneaks it out to eat. Just defrost thoroughly before slicing! The best thing about adieu-glu bread is no tummy ache and it is so good for digestion because the sourdough has psyllium husk. I did try a sample of biscotti, with lots of anise, which is a heavenly aroma. It was definitely better than Nonni's- no preservatives and not as hard. MJB St pete read more
