So happy to see their permanent space in the market. I first enjoyed their chai in their very early days. The decoration is great. There's an option for non-dairy milk. When you see people visiting from their home country gathering around this stand, you know you're in the right place. I've traveled and lived in many places where we've had some great chai and this is authentic and delicious. I love that I can bring some home as well as enjoy it hot. It's got an easy to find location as you're walking into the cobblestone towards the big Pike Place market sign where lots of people take. I love to grab my chai and then head over to the crumpet shop.

The hot Masala Chai was perfect on multiple dimensions! It had the correct balance of milk and the spices (not too milky and not too spicy). It had a hint of Mint which i really liked.Fast service at an amazing location!

If you're craving some authentic masala chai this is the place to check out! It's a grab and go booth for takeaway orders, no seating. They have tea & snacks. Great customer service by Danny, I had left my book behind and she held onto it for me until I realized I had left it behind.

Easy and simple menu right in the heart of pike place market. There's two types of chai, one with traditional black tea and one with turmeric. There is alternate milk option. Prices reasonable just under $7. Size is super small but it's just the right amount to enjoy a bit of chai on a drizzly day. It's a walk up counter with no seating. I purchased my chai and walked the market.

Best chai! Perfect combination of spices and just slightly sweet, making for one of the best masala chai drinks I have ever had.

I had a sample of their hot chai which was delicious, so I decided to get their iced chai with dairy milk. Unfortunately, it lacked flavor and spice. Not sure if it wasn't because of the ice (I drank it right away), but it was more milky than what an authentic chai should be. I'd come back to try their regular chai, but definitely not the iced ones.

I always saw Aditi Chai when walking in pike place so decided to give it a try and get a oat milk chai latte... it was seriously unlike any other chai latter I have had. A homemade, family recipe, the chai had such a nice balance of spices without being too strong, which made the drink super palatable and refreshing (iced) to drink on a summer day. Highly recommend!

FYI, as of June 2024, they're charging an extra $1.30-something to get a paper bag with your purchase. The Seattle bag ordinance states a minimum of $0.08 for a bag charge, which is standard in most places, but here they're suddenly charging multiple times that?? Honestly that sticker shock of the additional bag fee to an already quite pricey chai concentrate was kind of a turn off.

Everyone was so friendly! It's conveniently located in pike place and service is quick. We got one cup of their masala chai which was good! It was slightly watery for our taste but we should have requested more milk. Overall it satisfied our craving and was a good size too.

Really nice staff offering samples at Pike Place. Loved the flavor of their chai. Available hot or cold. Nice stop when perusing the market with your out of town guests.

Love this new addition to Pike Place! It's on the corner with some of the famous signs. The chai was good and nice to hold if it's a bit chilly out. They gave out free samples and the staff is really friendly!

This place is located in front of the Pike Place Market entrance, making it easy to find. Their original masala chai is a delightful warm treat, especially on cold or cloudy rainy Seattle days. The deep flavors of the tea are truly captivating. This Indian masala chai is authentic and has become my favorite chai place. Moreover, the owner and staff greet you with genuine warmth, adding to the overall inviting atmosphere. It's a great place to have a cup of delicious tea.

I'm not sure what happened on my last visit as the curries were on the colder side. When you arrive parking can be a bit difficult, there is a small parking lot out front, if that's full you'll need to find street park. The restaurant itself feels warm, casual, and bustling. Queen you walk in you have the option to sit on the backyard patio or in the dining room. We opted to sit in the dining room as it just felt more intimate and the vibe we were wanting for dinner. For our appetizer, we started with the Samosas (Two crispy pastries filled with your choice of freshly mixed vegetables or delicately spiced lean ground beef) which were excellent. Next we ordered the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken. The naan and samosas showed up piping hot but the chicken tikka masala & butter chicken were cold. I probably should have said something as I was disappointed but was too hungry to care at that moment. If I'm in the Seattle area I may stop by Taste of India again.

The owner ended up taking a lot of time to chat with us, sharing samples of different dishes--we ordered a few but had been curious about others, and he took the time to tell us a little bit about his background and a little bit of info behind the dishes. We loved everything we ate, though admittedly I was unprepared for how spicy one of the dishes would be. That was the one I planned to bring home for leftovers but my friend was nice enough to read the room and said I could take the more mild dish home and she'd bring the spicy one to her less sensitive husband. It may seem silly, but what I especially loved was the layered, flaky Roti. Finally, the owner treated us to an ice cream dessert. They had many yummy dessert options I'd love to try if I wasn't so full. Overall, I can see why this space has been in Pioneer Square for at least a decade and hope it stays!

We were really hungry and decided to join them as I've had this spot saved too as the reviews were pretty positive. They were definitely very popular but we were put on the waitlist but I think it would be helpful if they took peoples' numbers as apparently they would just shout it outside. We weren't aware as we went somewhere else to wait as it was very cold. When we arrived, a different employee started cleaning a table for us and we waited but then the employee who did put us down was frustrated with us as he called us and no one of us answered cause we were elsewhere. We weren't sure if we had a spot after that but luckily the employee who was cleaning was done and offered that spot. They also did drop a glass cup after cleaning nearby which was concerning but they did clean it up right away. Once we were seated, it took almost a half an hour to get some to take our order. Luckily we did get our water refilled decently but there were a few times where our empty glasses were seen and ignored. I definitely think there should be staff training as it was non-existent. I understand being busy but you're across the convention center so it should be expected. The music was also so low I didn't know it was even on, they have a loud fan going on and even their TVs have no volume. It's a pretty awkward ambiance, especially with how they try to look like they are a upscale restaurant. It did take some time to get food and it seems like the kitchen was frustrated too as I heard the bell signaling food being ready several times. The food was actually good, especially for the price. The portions are generous. We never had paratha but our friend recommended it so we got the aloo paratha while my boyfriend got their butter masala and I got their tikka masala extra hot. It wasn't really spicy at all, definitely nothing like what I've had at other Indian restaurants. The curries were flavorful with good pieces of chicken. We might return if we need something nearby but there are definitely better options that I would walk for.

But Indian-Nepali Kitchen is one of Seattle's most sought-after spots for affordable eats. But don't sleep on the rest of INK's broad menu of South Asian fare -- The Infatuation magazine even considers it to be one of the best restaurants in the city, full stop. INK shares a strip mall with a bodega and nail salon. Black cushioned chairs are pressed up to lacquered wood tables, and the tan walls are decorated with an assortment of cultural tchotchkes. Bollywood music videos play on the main dining room's single flatscreen, while images of Nepali mountain ranges flash on the screen in the accessory dining room. My partner and I dined at INK for weekday dinner on our drive up to the North Cascades, and we had the dining room to ourselves. Only a handful of takeout patrons rolled through during our visit. We kicked off our meal with the Mixed Appetizer. The Vegetable Pakora component was a consensus hit. The rich, crispy bites functioned well on their own and were fun conduits for the fragrant mint sauce and the tart tamarind sauce. In comparison, the samosas were forgettable, sporting overwhelmingly thick shells and hit-or-miss fillings. Of the three varieties, only the earthy ground lamb was worth finishing. Next, we tried the Combo Momo platter. Admittedly, the signature momos were surprisingly mediocre. Across the varieties, the wonton-like Fried Momo was the clear winner with its exciting texture without overpowering the delicate filling flavor. Meanwhile, the standard steamed momos tasted like something out of the frozen section, the Chili Momos were dominated by fast-food-quality sweet-and-sour sauce, and the Sandheko Momos had an unassuming, generally savory curry flavor (which was far outdone by the tangy side of house chutney). For our entree, we were very impressed by the Butter Curry Lamb. The thick curry broth was vibrant and dynamic; we sipped it by the spoonful. The tough lamb felt like an afterthought. The Garlic Basil Bread wasn't particularly basil-y, but the naan slices were pillowy, flaky, and addictively buttery. To drink, we shared an Iced Chai. The tea was more spiced than sweet; the average Starbucks patron might turn their nose up to it, but the light drink was a welcome contrast to the dense entrees. For dessert, we opted for the Gulab Jamun: the ping pong-sized cheese balls were deceptively dense, each packing a rich, syrupy punch. The service was quick and efficient, and our bill worked out to about $75 (after tax and tip). The flavors topped out at very good, but never quite achieved greatness. The portions were generous -- we probably could have done without the momos and still had a satisfyingly hearty meal. For a no-frills meal that will, at a minimum, be tasty, INK is a safe bet.
