She was able to get a hold of Conrad, and even though it was late in the day, he was eager to address and fix the issue. He was so polite and explained why her stove was not working properly what to do to prevent it happening again, but did say, please feel free to call anytime if the her stove was not working again. I wish my place that I live in now, was prompt and not made you feel like you are a burden, would be like him. If I ever move out here, this would be the place to be! Its after the fact that the true colors of this company come out. We moved in on a short term lease, only ended up staying 10 weeks total. We are meticulous when it comes to cleanliness but somehow they felt the need to not only charge us a $200 carpet cleaning but an additional $240 apartment deep cleaning. Mind you, we were only living in the apartment for 10 weeks, but we spent alot of time throughly cleaning after we had fully moved out and feel we actually left the apartment in better condition then before we moved in. I asked why I was charged these amounts and i was provided a few pictures, 1 was from some cat hair they collected, 1 was from a dusty top of the refrigerator and 1 was from what looked like juice splatter in one of the pull out drawers inside the fridge itself. They also sent a picture of a previous issue with the stove that we had requested to get fixed because it was dirty when we moved in that was never fully fixed, basically they tried now saying it was dirty because of us when we have documented with them that this was an issue before we even moved in. They also charged us $400 dollars for 3 broken glass sliders. We did in fact crack one of the glass doors which I had zero issue with paying, but then they tried billing me for an additional set of 2 doors. They provided no proof of the damage they claimed, I've requested multiple times and still nothing. I requested a walk through before we left but because of covid they told me they wouldn't be able to (how convenient). Not only did they keep my entire $600 deposit, but I was billed an additional $375 on top. Total amount was nearly a full months rent which is crazy. Any cleaning needed at most was normal wear and tear, any damaged glass I was never provided proof of, I'm forced to go to small claims over this matter but I wanted to let anyone interested in moving here to be very very careful and make sure you document every little thing before you move out. See attached pictures which was what they claimed was the reason for a $240 deep cleaning fee.

Was a quiet a great tenant as I am... anyway. They try to keep everyone's deposit no matter what... and I cleaned my unit they tried to charge for cleaning they tried to keep deposit and charge on top of it, and even charged utilities past the date they took possession like 2-3 weeks past that date. They've done a few questionable things like tell tenants to photograph people walking dogs.... Some tenants park 3-4 cars in guest parking and never get in trouble... and it's just ugggghh wow. So idk I stayed three years so two stars.. I liked the trees.. my car windows were never broken my car never stolen.. so "safe" for this area.. sidewalk is kinda an issue No safe way to actually walk out of complex to those stores because sidewalk doesn't exist in parts.... So a little stranded.... Walls thin, water pipes REALLY loud.. but my main issue was me being a great tenant paying early and over for three years. Cleaning up... etc. dealing with the mold etc... then them charging me and keeping deposit at move out. That's not how you treat good tenants. I would have easily recommended them even with issues if they'd just let me go on a good note. But no. I don't think they have a properly trained accountant at FPI or foxburough... idk what the deal is... housing laws say no mold. No appliances after life expectancy and this place doesn't follow those laws.. sometimes they'd fix things without trouble other times they'd push back way too hard I seriously had a smud bill in the $400s for a one bedroom one summer... for months I told foxburough there was a problem they needed to replace the AC or fix HVAC leak because that cost for a one bed is craaazy, I was told for months and months that I was the crazy one basically until I requested a smud meter audit repeatedly. When they techs replaced the AC appliance I was told it was over 30 years old. I was never reimbursed for the extra utility charges caused by FPI/foxburough negligence... I know a lot of apartments run this way.. it's not okay... but I've never stayed at an apt that had issues like this.. then kept my full deposit AND tried to charge me hundreds on top. It was almost comical the gaul... and they apparently do that to everyone good tenants bad tenants alike... why? When I moved in I did wonder why deposit was so "low" I think they think people won't fuss when they keep it without standing reasons at move out idk. I don't get it. I enjoyed living here, but it's definitely not an A+ , simple easy ways to be better and do better.

The only issue we ever had living there was the "Karen" downstairs complaining about everything and anything because her life was just that miserable I guess. Thankfully management handled everything professionally and with understanding instead of punishing us. They also take extra care of their residents by having holiday parties, food trucks, and resident appreciation events. Pros: - Grounds stay maintained and clean - Maintenance fixes issues immediately - Neighborhood is nice and safe (low crime) - Close to a grocery store (across street) - Apartments are updated (fake granite counters new appliances etc) - Laundry in unit - Apartments are well insulated and you do not have to keep AC or Heat on high. - Close to dog parks Cons: - Rent does fluctuate but overall they're expensive. - Some of the neighbors do not pick up after their dogs and there is no repercussions. - Small bedrooms ( have to have a queen bed if you want anything else in the room) - There are a few closets but not a lot of storage space. This place is just as nice and better price but they won't pick up the phone. Apartment living already comes with its typical problems so this is already not a good sign. Serious Security and Maintenance Issues…read more Very disappointed with Phoenicians Apartments. In just the past couple of months, five garages have been broken into, and on one night, two brand-new cars had their wheels stolen. The security cameras appear to be fake or nonfunctional, and the gates are constantly broken. Despite these serious security issues, management continues spending money on cosmetic projects, such as painting buildings and replacing pavement that was already perfectly fine, instead of addressing residents' safety and security. Owners also pay close to $400 in HOA fees, yet many basic problems remain. The windows are old and leaking, making apartments harder to keep cool in the summer and increasing energy costs. Rats are also a recurring problem every year, frequently appearing around balconies. For what residents pay, the lack of security, maintenance, and proper management is extremely disappointing. Safety and essential repairs should come before cosmetic improvements.

I applied for an apartment today, so I will be updating the review after I've lived there for a couple of months. But so far the first impressions are great. Clean grounds, nice apartment, great amenities, and friendly Gerardo! 3 weeks later: I got the apartment and been in the process of moving in. I love it so far. Every request I've had for the maintenance has been resolved super quickly. They literally would call me just a couple of hours after I posted the request. I met the new maintenance guy. He is so nice. Went above and beyond to help resolve some of the smaller issues so far. I also got to meet Angela as well. She was just as nice as Gerardo. In fact we ended up chatting for awhile and she recommended an eye Dr to me and just was a sweet soul. Absolutely zero regrets about moving in here so far. Very excited to fully transition my life to this complex next weekend and start enjoying the quiet I've been experiencing so far every time I've been there. It's well maintained. Quiet neighbors, clean amenities and my place was perfect prior to move in. Maintenance is really great about getting orders done in 24hrs which I love. Usually no problem finding parking but the occasional cars that are just parked in the same spot here and there but other than that a great place to live. I'm a homeowner still and still fairly new to Roseville. Older well kept communities tend to be more quit not so much traffic and affordable which I loved about this community! FYI: This is an honest review from someone with previous property Mgt industry experience as well so I'm a bit picky!
