I waited a couple of minutes for Olivia and she walked me over to her station where she took the time to listen to my hair concerns and worries. She was so kind to take the time to acknowledge my concerns and provide me with helpful advice. One big thing she emphasized was the importance of washing my hair weekly. This was completely new to me as I have been told the opposite all my life. For the products to do their job they need moisture, and without water and nutrient it can't do anything! It makes sense why I have had no curl definition...the products are just sitting on top of my hair. So I know now moving forward that I need to wash once a week if not more, as well as use a mask and a conditioner that will strip my hair as well at least once a month. My entire appointment and treatment were wonderful. I left with my curls hydrated and defined! I cannot wait to incorporate these new changes into my routine and really see my curls come back to life! I would say that this salon specializes in the longer 3 hair types versus my shorter four 4b/c, but I am glad that they were able to work with my hair and give me a great style and advice.
