Adriana's Insurance is exactly like a car dealership, they pretend to give it their all, and once you sign on the fine dotted line, you're screwed - don't think about going back to Adriana's Insurance afterwards thinking you'll be getting the same VIP treatment, its not going to happen! I was @ their El Monte office located on Durfee because I had a couple of questions, the agent Marisol asked if I had any other questions because she had to take "this call", personally, I thought that was very rude of her part - I grabbed my belongings without saying another word to her and left - I now refuse to pay that "brokerage" fee and help them stay in business - Do NOT make my same mistake, if you can, go directly through an insurance company without having to use their services, remember, Adriana's Insurance is a broker, you will end up paying that "broker" hidden fee! I had a disappointing experience at Adriana's Insurance, specifically with a representative named Marisela. After I paid for my insurance and registration renewal with the other helpful broker Brenda, I expected at least a basic level of support since I was told registration suspension uplifts are instant. Unfortunately, Marisela was not helpful over the phone at all--rather than assisting me and transferring me to the broker who I originally delt with, she repeatedly forwarded my calls to automated recordings. This lack of proper customer service was frustrating and unprofessional. If I'm paying for a service, I expect to be treated with respect and given real assistance, not passed off to a machine. I hope Adriana's Insurance takes steps to improve their customer service, especially when it comes to handling post-payment concerns. Time is money and now I'm wasting my time at the dmv for them just to say contact Adriana's since your registration is still suspended and no proof of insurance when I paid $250 for insurance. $200 broker fee is insane to just add a car to my policy. Worst insurance company ever, I came here because I was looking for low rates, and was promised road side assistance on a promotion when they first signed me up, but the incident that happened yesterday proved otherwise. I was stuck on a canyon with no gas and called the company for road side assistance, they kept transferring me and giving me incorrect numbers, each time I was on the line I would give the towing company all my information only for them to tell me that my account didn't exist and that I would have to pay out of pocket, they told me the only option I had was to pay cash or no deal. I would call back to nations insurance to explain to them and they would reply with attitude and put me on hold, I was stuck on a canyon for 4 hours and in the end had to call a friend for assistance . This company is a SCAM, so quick to charge $50 late fees, but when the time comes you actually need service they are nowhere to be found. She never replied unprofessional and I came in with my baby and a blonde girl was bothered by my son playing around not family friendly. BEWARE!! I had recently opened a policy and decided to make a upgrade on coverage for a vehicle I insured so I began the process while I was working on the field.i had notified the insurance agent I would follow up to finish the process later that day , I then notified the agent I would no longer want to upgrade the coverage. I was transferred to the manager Luis Romero who immediately began giving me a attitude as to lecture me on how I could simply not change my mind within a span of maybe 30 minutes since I began the process to upgrade .claiming that my car had been "fully covered " for those 30 minutes and I could no longer cancel the change . When I had never submitted pictures of said car or finalize my contract change. When I began to mention I'd file a claim ,he immediately stated that he'd cancel my existing policy ,as if to intimidate me to not proceed. In the end he back peddled and contacted me saying the change wouldn't be finalized,that I'd continue to have my policy. Which I will now be canceling .I'm sure he only reached his position as manger with years of deception and "great numbers in sales " with him as manager I can only imagine the "requirements " he asks from his staff.i will never deal with this company ever again. read more

I initially called the Pasadena office thinking it would be a better experience and since it's closer to home it made more sense; that was definitely not the case. After being snubbed 3 different times I decided to call the El Monte office. I was skeptical at first because of the other reviews but I can genuinely say the El Monte office is WAYYYY better than the Pasadena one. If you're going to call make sure you ask for Russell Lucio!! I was already a little ticked off after dealing with the agents at the Pasadena office that I wasn't expecting much help BUT thankfully I was wrong. Russell was AMAZING even though I called 30 minutes before closing!!! He worked with me until 9 and made sure I had the insurance I needed for the next day. I would say he went above and beyond and was super quick in his responses and always cordial. I had a very unique situation since I'm only in the country for a really short time and would otherwise not be using a vehicle and Russell worked his magic to get me the best deal that made sense for my specific needs. He was extra in the best way and dealt with me and my mom as we worked out how to add me to an existing policy. I am so happy with my experience and would recommend the El Monte office and Russell to anyone that's looking for a GREAT agent that is going to get you the best deal. read more

It has been a few months, been very busy but I haven't forgotten my service at Adrian's Insurance. I was helped by "Russel Lucio". I at first thought he was really nice and friendly, he was giving candy to the kids in the office and joking around. I did feel he was a bit douchey but i figured this was just part of his personality. I have an older classic truck that's been modified a bit, he explained to me that it might not be insurable because of some law that recently passed which was news to me but, he assured me he could help me out if i came back at the end of the week. He lowered his voice when telling me giving me the impression he was doing me a favor and said to ask for him specifically. I was with my mom at the who is very personable and he was mostly speaking to her, I didn't mind this because I'm a bit quiet and reserved and am not much for small talk. When I came back at the end of the week he seemed to change his attitude. He acted very dismissive and seemed to forget I was was coming in. We went outside to assess my truck. While we were outside, he used it as an opportune moment to call his buddy. He started having a phone conversation about how they were going to party later, I remember the highlight of his conversation of him saying "thats what she said!" to his buddy. It was like out of a movie, he was an archetypal douchebag lol. In the end he said he wouldn't be able to ensure my truck and he never really explained why. I even asked him specifically if it was because of that law he told me had recently past and he never really agreed or disagreed. He just spoke in this manner as if he was trying to tell me something i didn't understand but didn't really tell me anything specific, it was very odd. in the end I would like to advise anybody visiting this or any business to be weary of narcissistic a-holes who like to hear themselves talk because, it's inevitably just a big a waste of time for everybody involved. read more

First off, the place itself. Right when I walked in I thought, "seems comfy". I sat down by the wall and I saw a trail of ants going down it! I get up off the seat and further from the wall, I didn't want any of those pesky things crawling on me. Once we got called to be attended, I hadn't been sat down for a minute and already I had killed 3 ants crawling up my arm. Waiting, didn't take so long. We probably waited a little over 5 minutes. We get called up by one of the workers (Angie, I believe) and my mom starts explaining the problem. The lady attending us didn't know how to answer our questions and would laugh it off and say something completely out of topic. My mom would explain that she's very disappointed and the lady would just brush it off with a chuckle. We ended up speaking to the manager because the lady attending us was so clueless. The people working for this company are dumb as bricks. I called after they failed to inform me that my policy's monthly payments were going to be doubled. First off, I had not been notified because after many attempts to change both my mailing address and garaging address the system still managed to change it back to a place a no longer live at. So I called and spoke to Angie. She was unable to give me a straight answer so she took my number down and said she would call back. She did. 2 hours later. She informed me that I did not have a valid DL. WTF?? Yes, I do!! I told her I could send her a pic or go in person and show it to her.. She then insisted that what I had to do is go to the DMV and obtain my driving record. So now here I am thinking that not only do I have to pay the dbl of the agreed amount but now I have to spend a day at the DMV and pay the fee to obtain a copy of my driving record. Driving record? This doesnt even make sense! Anyways, I asked if this would guarantee my problem and she went on to say that she could not guarantee anything and blah, blah, blah. That's when I said F This! I need your corporate number and your name. I called corporate 3 times before I got through. The first 2 times I was hung up on. I spoke to someone who did not offer their name, but at least seemed somewhat educated. I explained to her my problem and in less than 2 minutes she was able to tell me a whole different story as to why my payments had doubled. Both explanations seemed ludicrous.
