You order at the counter, and the food is then delivered to your table. I ordered the two-egg breakfast plate with my eggs sunny-side up, with grits (hash browns were also an option) and sausage. I also ordered two buttermilk pancakes. The sunny-side-up eggs were perfectly cooked. I put one egg over the grits and the other on the pancakes, then broke the yolks -- it was delicious. The yolk mixed nicely with the perfectly made grits and fluffy pancakes. It is a small place and was crowded with regulars, which gave it a welcoming neighborhood feel. I am going back to try other plates -- I noticed several people ordering the catfish, and it looked excellent.

Nothing is made from scratch, in house and was all little to no flavor. Perhaps this is why salt shakers were the only seasoning on each table. No hot sauce, no hot peppered vinegar, not even black pepper. Just salt. Fried chicken was your standard Sysco/Bulk pre-breaded run of the mill, drop into fryer and keep hot variety. The mashed taters n gravy were instant and of the cheapest bulk commercial variety as well, and the Mac & cheese? I knew it when I saw it but it was the only other decent side available as my first pick of fried okra was not available. For $25 for two people, I'd hit a Bojangles or Popeyes instead of coming here and actually feel full. Darn shame as I'd had high expectations for this mom & pop place, and truly wanted a real-deal Southern soul food meal which this was absolutely not. Maybe their breakfast options are actually made in-house and better? They would need to do so AND be open by 5 AM if they want to profit rapidly and substantially on the ever-increasing commuter to and from Raleigh transplants because the supper choices? Definitely not Granville County's finest. I'd suggest the owners of The Wilton Grill go work for a week from open to close at Apple Market up near South Boston to see how breakfast, lunch and supper is done. I'll try breakfast if and when they are open for wee hours and the planets align, but I doubt I will come here again for lunch or supper unless there's some soul and seasoning slapped into and on the menu. This was on point with elementary school lunch foods. I will say the styrofoam plates and cups, plastic forks, cup lids and straws were clean. They do accept Apple and Google pay, they also give you the option to tip which, lol, I'm not sure what for. This place could be a gold mine in the right hands.

Will & Well is a great addition to Boxyard if you're looking for a fresh salad, grain bowl, or…read moresmoothie option. The setup is counter service, with a handful of premade salads and bowls on the menu, or you can build your own. The build-your-own option starts at $12.99 and includes your base, five toppings, one crunchy/dry topping, and dressing. Proteins are extra and range from about $4.25-$6.50, with options including tofu, shrimp, chicken, steak, and tuna. I opted for a build-your-own bowl with chicken, which came out to just under $20 before tip. At first, that felt a little pricey to me, but the portion size was absolutely massive. Honestly, it was large enough to easily make two meals, which made the value feel much better. The woman helping me was incredibly friendly and even let me sample three different dressings before deciding. I also appreciated that you can get your dressing on the side if you prefer. All 3 I tried were good, but all very different, and I'm glad I had a chance to try them! One thing to note is that it was fairly warm inside the business, which gave me a little pause considering it's a salad-focused concept. That said, everything tasted fresh and high quality. There were only two employees working during my visit on a Wednesday around 6:30, and with about 4-5 people ahead of me, it took around 20 minutes to place my order, get my bowl made, and check out. The staff was working hard, and being incredibly helpful, but if you're in a hurry, just plan accordingly. Overall, I'd definitely return. It's nice to have a quality salad option at Boxyard, the ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous, and the service was helpful and kind. Just be prepared that there may be a bit of a wait and to spend around $20 if you're adding protein (but you can easily share or make two meals from it!!!) My picture doesn't do the size justice I promise!

I'd seen that celebrity Tabitha Brown stopped by recently and loved the salads, which made me want to visit even more. I stopped through on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the signature salad, Salsa Verde with quinoa (you can add your choice of grain) and a freshly made hibiscus juice (so refreshing!). Everything was so fresh and so delicious. The salad was coated with just the amount of dressing and the sweet potatoes on the salad were a special treat, making the salad both unique and delicious! The hibiscus juice was refreshing and not syrupy sweet like many juices from other establishments. I will definitely be back to try other salads!

About 10 minutes after ordering we received our food. The chicken on my salad was hot and fresh. The overall taste of the salad was impeccable. Between the crisp fresh lettuce, the crunch from the croutons, and the chicken being nice and hot the salad was amazing. My partner had no complaints about the wrap or the fries. The fries were hot and crispy. When the food came out the aroma hit us before the food was even at our table. 2. Our sever was an absolute delight. She was completely aware of our modifications we asked for our food. The manager came and stopped by the table to check on us and she was extremely attentive to any needs we might have to make sure we were having a wonderful experience. 3. The restaurant itself was very clean, quiet, and spacious. Definitely recommend stopping in if you want something comforting to eat especially with the rainy weather going on right now! 100/10 recommend! A mediterranean style interior with an Italian influence. High ceilings, and lots of art on the walls. A tv with sports playing up by the bar area. Our kind and friendly server came by our booth within a minute or so and took our drink requests and got our appetizer going all at the same time. For starters we went with the Fried Calamari, this is first rate golden brown, tender to the bite and juicy with a great marinara for dipping. Some of the best we have had around. We gave the menu a good look over, a well rounded menu with something for pretty much every taste. I opted for the Austrailian Chicken, with bacon, mushrooms and cheddar along a nice rustic potato mash with a side green salad. The chicken was very good, nicely prepared with a unique finish. Tender and flavorful, two grilled boneless breasts covered with bacon. This is a hearty meal, great flavor and a fair value for the serving. My partner had the Chicken Pot Pie, a beautiful presentation and well prepared. A large serving with a flaky baked crust topping. She said it was very good as well. They have a pretty good dessert selection too, I went for the Heath bar cheese cake and it was exceptionally good. Rich, creamy toffee flavor. 4.5 Stars All in all a solid choice, rounded up for all of the great staff 01260
