This is great management and staff. I haven't left the parking lot.

First off it's always great to walk in and see smiling faces on people working there and Corrine greeted me warmly. I mentioned my first time there and asked for recommendations which I went for. The brisket was spot on. Moist but didn't soak the bun even after I put on one of their many sauces on each table. As a side I opted for the Cole slaw and again I was not disappointed at all...perfect amount of dressing and an ample portion. All this with great music piped in but still able to have a conversation. Will definitely visit again when I'm back for work after all they thanked me for trying !

First time trying Mission BBQ, pulled chicken and coleslaw and they did not miss!!! 10/10

My first time visiting Mission BBQ I had it taste for a poor chicken sandwich and coleslaw and they did not miss 10 out of 10. I'll be back with my family next time and he gave me a free cookie and a coupon coupon for a free sandwich.

We went back for the ribs. We both had the 10-bone rib combos with coleslaw and fries. Meat was so tender it was falling off the bone. Really nice flavor, not too smokey or salty. The ribs were meaty with just enough fat. My husband and I could have easily eaten another rack each. I intend to go back and give the brisket another chance.

Always a great time at Mission BBQ! Service with a smile, friendly, and Accommodating. My friend and I almost got the same thing except he choose the Kicking Collard Greens And I got the Coleslaw. We both got the 5 bone Baby Back Ribs and I commented that I got an extra bone and he replied he got 7 bones. My ribs started out over cooked and dry as you can see in my photo how dark and almost burnt the bottom end was, after that the rest of the bones were juicy and delicious! The The Baked Beans with Brisket were spot on and the Coleslaw was good but fell short in the creamy department. My friend commented several times on how spicy hot the greens were, more that usual. This is the first time I was slightly disappointed at the three locations I have been to. This is not a game changer and i will continue to frequent this business in the future.

Turkey BBQ, French fries, and y'all can see my samples in the back of the turkey, brisket, and pulled pork. Everything was super yummy!

Ok, so this Texas woman has just found the most fantastic BBQ place here in PA!!! It's Friday, 11/7/25, just passing through the area and was drawn to the most fantastic smell of some yummy BBQ! I'm super happy I found a BBQ place that makes me feel like I'm back home in TX. EVERYONE is fantastic!!! At noon they play the National Anthem and I literally got a little teary eye and goosebumps. It was really very special. Then I met the most fantastic lady who reminded me of my family. Her name is JOANNE. She is a very special and kind lady. Thank you Joanne for making me feel like home! BTW.....OMG.....the BBQ is awesome and I'm a TX gal who knows her BBQ! Y'all will be impressed!!! Thank you Mission BBQ!!!

Gotta love the dedication of Mission BBQ to veterans and first responders. Five Stars for all they do to support them. Five Stars, too, to the superior level of customer service provided by all the employees from front door greeter to those who buss the tables after every use. Four Stars for the warehouse look of the restaurant. High ceilings, exposed utilities, military artifacts and slogans that capture the essence of military patriotism. But, on this day only Three Stars for the actual BBQ. The sampler I ordered of Brisket, Pork Spareribs, fries, baked beans and corn bread was strong on its side dishes, but missed the mark in the smoked meat department. Neither had any bark-that crispy crust that develops in a properly heated smoker oven when the right spices are rubbed into the meat and the fat has hours to melt and mix with the spices and natural juices to form a delicious dark layer that seals in the finished meat and provides that strong flavor we all love. I am not an expert, but have eaten enough great Q on visits to Virginia, North Carolina and Texas to know awesome ribs and brisket from the ho-hum. This batch just wasn't it. Whether lack of heat or too much moisture/humidity, the bark didn't materialize - the magic didn't happen. Everything was still pull off the bone tender, and the multitude of sauces partially covered up what was missing, but a bite of the beef and pork without assistance from the table rockets showed how bland they really were. It may have been a one off day for the kitchen and chef that will be rectified quickly by attention to oven temperature and amount of fat left on the raw meat, but this was my experience. I hope they do fix this issue and put more bark on these dogs. No bark. Why bite? 3.5 STARS

This place is new to the area and very patriotic. We had the NC Pulled Pork sandwich, green beans, baked beans French fries, Mac n cheese, cornbread and brisket platter with Half-n-Half (sweet tea & lemonade). My family is from NC and the pulled pork was passable, but you have to add your own sauce. The green beans, baked beans and corn bread was cooked nicely too and nicely seasoned. For everything we had we spent $42 which we ended up having to get to-go containers because the portions are big. My biggest complaint is that it gets super busy even with 3 cashiers taking your order, but the staff does work as fast as possible to pump out everyone's order. Love the staff and how attentive they were with asking if we needed anything throughout our meal. Hopefully this spot sticks around in the area for awhile!

2 meat platter. Jalapeño and cheese sausage with the chicken. With a side of baked beans and green beans.

So excited to have one in my area!! Their food is amazing!! I love that it comes without sauce. They have a 6 pack of sauces on every table. You get to choose whatever flavor you want to add. My husband who does not like bbq can eat here since it doesn't have sauce. Everyone is so very friendly!! Be sure to catch the national anthem at noon everyday. I definitely recommend this restaurant!!

Smoked Cheeseburger w/Baked beans with Brisket. Not bad. Wishing it was medium rare.

Nice... finally tried Mission BBQ... and can say I will return again for more ... Service was great, just couldn't try everything on their menu all during a single visit. Food was delicious...

I never watched Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones because every last loser on earth was all about it. The Beatles fucking suck and Bruce Springsteen can go shit in his hat. Pumpkin spice is for pumpkin pie and that's it, no matter what these dizzy suburban women say. So the decision to visit Johnny Longhots today was based entirely on poor reviews. The guy who ordered a sandwich to the hospital and found a cheesesteak to be "greasy" deserves to contract MRSA during his stay. The dope who complained his fries were soggy ordered his shit off Door Dash. He's lucky the driver didn't eat all of his fries. The folks who called out the teenagers who are getting their first experience working can all get bent. You weren't perfect when you had your first job. I already know who you vote for. Onto the food - the menu is huge. There are a ton of choices with something for just about everyone. There's even gluten free options for those fucking people. There were four or five sandwiches in the running, but it was the Gritty Cheesesteak that ultimately won out on my first visit. And that's a strange decision for me because the Flyers stink and their fans are even worse. They're the worst organization in hockey. Maybe I just wanted fries on my sandwich. Yea - that's it. So the Gritty is a good amount of beef, fries tossed in Old Bay and topped with white cheddar cheese sauce atop a seeded roll. I added fried onions. The sandwich scores higher than the Flyers. I was a fan of the seeded roll which was super fresh. The cheese sauce was tasty and complemented the fries really well. They were super crispy, well seasoned and plentiful. The beef wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was tender and cooked well. All-in-all a good sandwich. The gals up front were attentive and friendly. They took my order quickly. Hats off to the kitchen for getting my food out promptly among the online orders. The place was pretty clean and had a ton of Philly Sports pics on the wall. The music on the radio was some throwback stuff - thank God it wasn't any of that mumble rap shit most kids play these days. Johnny's has a bunch of lunch specials that look worthwhile and a decent value. Locally owned spot worth giving your business to. It's a 4-star review from me that gets bumped to a 5 to spite the mopes who gave it a one.
