I asked how much it would cost, and I was told, "About $10." No thank you, I'll buy the bulb and replace the burned out one myself. I walked into the clean and very organized store and walked to one of the registers where an employee greeted me and asked how he could help me. I told him I needed a lightbulb for my right rear brake light, and told him the year, make and model of my car. He looked up and determined the part number, then went to the aisle and got a blister pack of lightbulbs (2 per pack). It cost me under $8 total, and I even got a military discount after asking if they gave discounts to veterans. Great deal, and I was happy to get quick and efficient service from a knowledgeable employee at NAPA Auto Parts!

Not only does Devin know his stuff inside and out, but he actually takes the time to help instead of just pointing you to an aisle. I came in needing help with my car, and he jumped right in--diagnosing the issue, explaining everything clearly, and making sure I got exactly what I needed. You can tell he's got real hands-on experience, not just textbook knowledge. And on top of that, the dude wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Other purchasers reported an identical defect. The part number is close to that of the same type of part under recall. I filed a case with AutoZone customer service seeking a refund or store credit because I was not about to have the same, dangerous brake system part installed on a family member's car. No contact back from AutoZone's regional offices in over 5 weeks and after half a dozen phone calls. The store manager would do nothing for me but start another case with AutoZone corporate. I am waiting for a corporate vice president to contact me regarding this issue. I have also filed a case with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration abut the shoddy part.
