    First to review, woo-hoo! So glad this place just opened and they are much closer than our usual AA. We have older cars because they are super cool, but they do require a little work from time to time, so we are happy to have an AA right around the corner. They haven't been open long at all but we've already been in 3 or 4 times and service is great. Helpful guys that know their stuff. There's even a young man that works there with an awesome older BMW himself and he seems to be quite the expert. Welcome to the neighborhood, glad to have you!

    Contacted Pull-A-Part a few times to sell my vehicle. When I first contacted them, the Operator…read moreoffered me a deal of about $500 for a my 2010 Ford Explorer. At the time, I was just interested in a quote and I told them that I would contact them again to finalize a deal if I couldn't find anyone to beat this quote. I ended up going out of town and forgot about my side project. Cut back a month later, I contact Pull-A-Part last week to sell my vehicle to them. The Operator then low-balled me with a different number than what they first offered and offered me $380. I was upset with this new number since I was expecting them to match their initial offer. I begrudgingly brought up this point and the Operator came back with a new offer of $410 for pickup on Saturday 7/12/2024. Since I was tired of dealing with this entire project, I agreed and we set an appointment to pick up my vehicle at 9am. I received a confirmation email and made preparations to have the vehicle picked up on Saturday at our agreed time. Come Saturday, I received ZERO correspondence from the hauler and at 0945am I contacted Pull-A-Part to ask if they were enroute. The Operator stated that they did not know when the hauler would arrive and that I would be contacted. Since I received no correspondence an HOUR after they were supposed to, I asked to reschedule for Monday. The Operator advised that the hauler would reschedule to Monday and did not provide a new time. The Operator stated that they "could not provide a time for Monday." I found this statement to be incredibly unprofessional since they were happy to provide a time when they first tried to low-ball me. I agreed to an ambiguous Monday reschedule. Today is Monday and you can guess that no one has contacted me and no one has come to get the vehicle. At this point, I'm sure that this business is some kind of scam.

We were methodical about it... until we met the crew at Solo Motorsports. For the last 3 years now, we've had all of our service issues handled there and have never had a single complaint. They are a small shop, with high personal detail given to each customer. Each time either I or my wife walk in or even call... they know who we are. They've made practical suggestions to keep our vehicle running longer and then made fun suggestions to see if we wanted to turn our quiet unassuming family SUV into a yuppie rocket wagon from hell!! We have always said that this is one of those vehicles that we will own until it dies. With help from Solo Motorsports... we plan on enjoying it and keeping it running for as long as possible. I'm not sure I'd ever take it to an Audi Service Center again. We're spoiled now.

They assured me that it would be an OEM part. The HPFP failed two and half years later and when the part was removed it was far from OEM, it was a cheap Vemo HPFP. I see this no different than stealing by promising and charging for OEM but using cheaper parts. I guess they assumed I would get rid of the car prior to finding out.

    I purchased a AutoZone Duralast brand brake component from this location. The critical safety…read morecomponent failed in less than a year. The part carries a lifetime warranty. Other purchasers reported an identical defect. The part number is close to that of the same type of part under recall. I filed a case with AutoZone customer service seeking a refund or store credit because I was not about to have the same, dangerous brake system part installed on a family member's car. No contact back from AutoZone's regional offices in over 5 weeks and after half a dozen phone calls. The store manager would do nothing for me but start another case with AutoZone corporate. I am waiting for a corporate vice president to contact me regarding this issue. I have also filed a case with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration abut the shoddy part.

I needed a check engine light checked and they don't enter the car cabins due to COVID and I get it, we all are trying to work and stay safe. And I was nervous about plugging in that device (that's why I came to Autozone), in any case he had confidence that we could figure it out which made me have confidence that I could find this cord that links to that check engine device. And guess what "our can do attitude" worked and I learned how to find the plug and he was a good instructor. I know they are not as well known in Georgia as other parts of the Country, but I have purchased sets of 4 tires, lifetime wheel alignments, oil changes, etc. for my cars from them over the years and they always seemed competent . . . that is until 10965 Jones Bridge Road, Johns Creek, GA 30022. This particular store is horrible. Sloppy, dirty and disorganized staff. That photo they posted here on this site must be a stock photo from Corporate or one dropped in here from another store. I have been to this store several times, but this is / was my last time. First of all, I never really paid much attention to it, but the personnel is never the same on each appointment. I average 2 appointments per year for each of our vehicles and that's for all the usual stuff like oil changes, wheel alignments, tire rotations, etc. However, I just realized the employees turnover at least every 6 months. That should tell you a lot and it should have been something I paid attention to sooner. Plus, the employees never seem to smile. They are not friendly, do not make eye contact and they do not thank you for your business. Combine that with the overall changes: 1) Rewards program is terrible as your points expire in a few months rendering them useless. 2) Costs have all increased. I use full synthetic oil so their price is $110.00 for an oil change, whereas I can go to the manufacturer's authorized dealership where my cost is only $99.00 for the same. These are standard (not sale) prices at both. 3) Most people do not go to the dealer due to cost. But now with Pep Boys, you go to the dealer to save money over Pep Boys. Plus Pep Boys uses aftermarket supplies and parts whereas you will get OEM supplies and parts at the dealership . . . and for less money! 4) Combined with complimentary coffee, sodas, snacks, entertainment (television and wifi), shuttle service to work / home and back, etc. none of which this Pep Boys offers . . . . . . so if customer service is lower and prices are higher, why go to Pep Boys?

I gave the gentleman my vehicle's parameters, and he suggested some rotors. Unbeknownst to me, he recommended a sport model of rotors that were about 1" larger than the standard size. I tore my entire wheel assembly apart and went to put on the rotors....and realized they were too large. I then had to reassemble everything back together and return to the store to exchange the rotors for the correct ones. I was a bit frustrated, but realize this was an honest mistake and something anyone could have done. As mentioned, the gentleman that helped me was quite friendly and knowledgeable. I'll have no qualms about going back to this location.

    I was notified by Valvoline and my dealership that I was running low on my 2021 Hyundai Kona…read morebattery. I called and the gentleman said yes we have one we'll take a look to see if we can install for you upon coming in. I promptly went to this location because it was going to save me about $200 verses the dealership. Immediately, he treated me as if he didn't want to help. Muffling things like "oh my reader is saying I shouldn't touch your car" "the dealer is a criminal they want to steal your money, I've worked there before" "turn your car on and off, nothing is wrong with this battery" "there's too many warning codes" .... I had paperwork saying I needed a battery and it threatened my integrity. I grew up around the car business and this is NOT how you treat a customer that ultimately pays your bills. I am a young professional that takes exceptional care of my paid off well maintained vehicle. I felt discouraged, frustrated and unseen. He then told me "if I put the battery in, and you have to get it towed to the dealer don't blame me". Sir, what happened to you just saying you COULDN'T replace my battery? I feel almost profiled. As a woman, by herself I hope that he doesn't treat others this way as the face of Advance Auto Parts. I went to AutoZone and they felt SO embarrassed that I was treated this way at ANOTHER company, their competitor nonetheless that they gave me an extra 20% off and instantly put the battery in, took away the old one and even SHOOK MY HAND. I hope this is a learning lesson for associates at Advance Auto, I'll never come back.
