A crush washer is not just any washer that fits the drain plug bolt- just for future reference... they are also not all interchangeable when dealing with poor quality bottom barrel sourced stuff where you're lucky if 2/5 washers provide a correct seal as it is. p.s. quit with the tactic of knowingly throwing someone ignorant behind the counter who can put generic product descriptions and summaries together, but has ZERO practical knowledge, so that you have someone to drive sales while you know customers are being left unsatisfied but don't care, because after all profit is profit! read more

Purchased a Diehard Silver battery in January 2021 which offered a 2 year warranty. It's now October of the same year and the battery is dead. Charged it myself twice and left it for 2 days to confirm it was a battery issue and not my home standby generator. When I took the battery back to the store for a warranty replacement I was informed they must charge and "test" the battery to confirm it's bad which could take a day or two. Since I needed a battery for replacement I purchased a new one, and was charged a core charge even though the store kept my old battery for "testing". Store called me later to say the battery I returned tests fine so no warranty replacement. My recommendation is never buy parts of any type from Advance Auto Parts, it's obvious they have no intention of standing behind their products or warranty. read more

Got a battery that wouldn't hold a cold charge so they had to test it for 6 hours...it's been 3 days no response..douche bags work there they have no idea what a cold charge meant when I brought it up too them..if you work in auto parts learn your products and give customers what they want..terrible customer service was put on hold for another retail company. Bought a car battery in April, and it didn't last 6 months. They recharged it and insisted it was fine. Days later, battery was dead. Brought the vehicle in for servicing, only to be told it was a bad battery. Advance refused to refund my money. read more

Shout out to Chad, who came out in this crappy weather and changed my busted windshield wiper blade. And he did it without me even asking!! That is above and beyond excellent customer service. (and the gentleman who helped me pick out the wiper blade was super helpful as well. ) I've found my new auto parts store. read more

Will never go to Advance Auto Parts again. I was forced to give one star for this review, but in reality, I rate them Zero Stars. Brandon's customer service totally SUCKS. Dave was nice and offered to help me replace something. But the day I came to pick up the part, Dave was off. Brandon was on the counter, and when I asked if Dave was there, and told Brandon that Dave had said he would help me install the part, Brandon's reply was, Did he? Yeah, dude, he freaking did. This is the same guy (Brandon) that when I first when in to discuss what was happening with my car, and I asked him if he would take a look at it, he acted like I never even asked. So zero stars for poor customer service PLUS it took longer than I was told for my part to even show up. This is how you treat a 60-something cancer survivor?? Shame on you. read more
