I looked up spots on my route and had a short time before my next appointment. Napa was on the way so I took a short detour to get what I needed. They immediately told me what sizes I needed for my car and pointed me in the right direction. As I mulled over the different options for prices and claims of superiority, the clerk came over to offer some advice. He pointed out the sales they had and what reccomendations he had accordingly. I told him my past experience with some brands and let him know I wasn't happy with one of them and my classic car could use a boost in the wiper department as well. He mentioned he had a brand that he and all his coworkers use but it's a little pricier so folks generally steer away. I took the bait and told him to check for my sizes which they had in the back. He assured me they were worth the extra dough so I went for it. Turns out they were running a special that got you 20% off after spending a certain amount (buy a $3 Napa bucket for charity as well). The whole thing cost the same as the on sale blades and I got the Trico Force blades I was looking for. After a week long dry spell I got to really test these wipers out and he was absolutely right. I highly recommend these wipers and am probably a life long Trico customer. Great service with honest advice that held true... I'll be back for sure!

My car battery gave me trouble recently and wouldn't crank on the first try. Worried about the…read moreholiday driving season, I stopped by Advance Auto Parts for a battery test. I'm not a fan of car maintenance and find auto shops intimidating. My dad always took mine and my mom's cars to the shop, and that act of service was his "love language". After walking in, a lady at the counter greeted me and offered to help. Although the store was busy with several others having car issues that morning, she made me feel at ease while I waited. Soon, another lady named Fran finished up with customers and checked my battery to find that I indeed needed a new one. She helped me find a new version of my existing battery, pulled it, and installed it in my car. I don't know a lot about cars, but I watched her and she explained a few things to me. No one wants to spend $200+ on a new battery, but Fran made this the most comfortable car repair experience I've had. Gender representation matters, especially when it comes to women and cars. The next time I need a light, wiper blades, or anything for my car, I will come to this Advance Auto Parts.
