Bait & Switch I…read morecalled Olympus at around 3:45p on a Friday to check if they had available a car battery. The lady checked and quoted me two prices: flooded battery is $179 with 2-yr warranty and AGM battery is $230 with 3-yr warranty. I stated I would go go the AGM. She told me the battery had to be delivered to their MD store from their VA store. I agreed and told her I needed the battery that day as I had secured someone to install it for me. She said no problem call me back at 5pm and I'll confirm if it's been delivered or how far they were away. I called her back at 5pm and she said the driver was minutes away from the MD store and I should head to the store to purchase the battery. I headed to the store and advised I was there to purchase the battery. That is when I was told the battery was $279 with tax it was $297! I told the guy I was quoted $230 by that lady in the VA store. He tried to lower it to $255 plus tax but would not honor the $230 price even after calling her who also confirmed she quoted me $230z. I was left driving around store to store trying to find a battery before stores closed at 6pm to ensure I had it in time to have it installed that evening. FRUSTRATING! Lost a customer and earned a BAD review too! Olympus do better! Honor your price quotes - that's what a good business does!!!

They always have the parts I need and best of all, they are at least 50%, if not more, cheaper than any chain auto supply store in the area. The service is excellent and they seem very knowledgeable. If you need parts, I highly recommend you check them out. They also have locations in Fairfax, Woodbridge, and Chantilly. I can't say if the other locations are as good, but just in case you're not near Alexandria, it's worth to check out.

Making the extra drive I came into the familiar store layout, grabbed some oil and made my way to checkout. Upon arriving to the front there was no one on a register. There was someone in front of me checking out at the parts service counter so i stood behind them. To the right is an adjustable tape post guiding a line to the parts service counter with a sign that state "parts, returns.." and two other things that didn't apply since I was checking out. Three other costumers come in and get in the "parts" lines. When the parts counter assistant (Ant) finishes checking out the person in front of me he calls over a person from the parts line. Mind you I have already been standing there for at least 10 mins while he was helping the person in front of me and the other assistant was looking for something in the back for someone else. I wasn't until I raised my voice saying "EXCUSE ME" that someone attempted to assist/attend to me. Sidenote: Three other people came from the backroom behind the counter and none of them proceeded to observe the current wait line and assist. After being acknowledged the parts assistant (Ant) still continued with the person called over only to later tell them to step aside so he could check me out. It literally took 30secs for him to scan the product, me to swipe my credit card and I was gone. I was in the store for over 15mins.

1 star. Absolutely terrible experience…read more I brought my BMW here thinking I would save money compared to the dealership. Big mistake. They quoted me around $2,950 for an oil housing replacement, while the dealership quoted $3,000. So there is basically no price advantage at all. Then it got worse. On the first day, they gave me my car back without the underbody cover at all. When I came to pick it up, I clearly told them that I would take the cover myself and they didn't need to install anything, but instead they handed me someone else's cover, which does not even fit my car. On top of that, I had insurance that was supposed to cover specific damage, but they opened a claim for everything they possibly could, creating unnecessary complications. I would not recommend it to anyone.
