FYI, I took my car to them they charged me 5k for the service and the same service at the dealership cost 3k then they around told me my car needs brakes came to the dealer I didn't need it and their price were $500 more, so I'm trying to save someone else's money by not going there. read more

If you have ever been a customer of rapid rotation in kennesaw do NOT be fooled Bimmers combined with them and were absolute rip offs. attempted to charge me 600+ dollars for a battery (there was a little corrosion), and then proceeded to charge me 813 dollars after a 30 dollar discount to bleed my breaks and replace my wheels lug nut stud. when they talked to me to see if they can add on the abs break bleed I asked how much will everything be and they said 410$ well that didnt hold up do to "communication issues". In short, don't bring your bmw to these absolute fools. The initial right-around-the-corner convenience, customer service, nice waiting area and clean/organized shop floor drag you in to trust them up until you get the quote to "fix" your car. I never leave a review, but after I tried to resolve the issue with them over the phone to no avail, I disputed the ending charge of $465.61 with my bank and Bimmers flat out lied in response to my bank saying "We have not heard from this customer expressing any dissatisfaction. We made attempts to connect with the customer but they will not return our calls." this is where I end up. I'm a single human being, they're a business - I lost. I have all recorded phone calls, texts and quotes. Here's the story you're waiting for. I brought my car in (bmw 535i) for them to replace the starter only because I knew it was bad due to a no crank/no start (at first, which down the road lead to a lot worse). I bought the starter myself and I get it towed there for install but they insisted they use their parts at first. Cool. It gets there and they get on it immediately. They CONFIRMED the starter was bad via codes pulled on the scanner along with testing it, and that my "battery was bad". First quote? $1849.80. Starter and labor - $1443.00. Battery and labor - $406.80, in which $100 of that is labor which takes 5 minutes to install. I respond kindly with "no thank you, I have the part I'll take it down the road to the domestic shop I use that will install it for $400" (it is a nonetheless difficult install). They at first bring the price down to $866.32, once again "no thanks". And finally! $465.61 out the door with my part supplied and they just charge up my "bad" battery. "Perfect, let's do that it'll save me money from another tow". Shady right? Not sure why I continued with them at that point. Get a final "work is complete" phone call from them saying the starter is installed and the car cranks but still will not start. At this point after ALL THIS they checked to see if the motor will turn over manually. It doesn't. $800+ to drop the subframe JUST to look into it more to find out what's going on. Nope. So I get it picked up and tow it to another bmw only shop I use to use but they moved much further away. It gets there, with these symptoms and what ended up happening being a common issue on n54's (motor) - 30 minutes into it they find old belt shrapnel in my oil (old belt snapped, shrapnel got into the oil feed tube, starved the motor of oil) resulting in a seized motor. No charge to find that supposedly very obvious issue out within 30 minutes. For Bimmers reading, I understand I signed off on the $465.61 starter install in which I disputed, but only because you ASSURED me that was the issue. The money is up and gone now and I get the work was completed, but I deserved to be reimbursed after that clown show. For everyone else who's reading, Bimmers was trying to get the amount of money they wanted one way or another, and more than likely knew the issue right away before even installing the starter. Absolutely go elsewhere because clearly, they hope and pray on the weak. read more

Best place to get your BMW serviced in the area. Literally the only ones willing to touch that classic timing chain issue on the pre 2016 models. Also if the 5 min oil change place strips your drain plug they can get that off here too! read more

This place is a rip off shop for people who are not knowledgeable enough to find a better shop to work on their bmws. They refuse to give quotes for simple jobs and demand you pay their $150 diagnostic fee before they'll even give you a quote for a simple job like a valve cover replacement. Brian's motor works in Woodstock, or AA performance in Alpharetta are much better shops + don't run their business like it's the 90's. For a $150 diagnostic fee you're better off taking it to the dealership, lord knows this place is just as expensive as the dealer lol!! They do decent work but nickel and dime you on everything. Only thing i would use this shop for is a PPI as they'll tell you your $20k car needs $10k in work done to it and you can use it as bargaining power wherever you're buying your new bmw from. read more

I had been searching for a reputable BMW Certified shop to get my 2014 320i serviced for weeks... Finally I came across this shop online. Process was simple. Called, young lady answered & got me scheduled for 2 days out as I asked and time time frame I wanted. This time around I only needed an oil change which was $63 (great price for Original BMW full synthetic oil) and the service was done in about an hour. Prior to picking my car up I did get a courtesy call letting me know of future maintenance coming up at the 60k make. Currently car has 58,808 miles on it exactly so I thought that was awesome & showed they will keep my car running to BMW's standards at all times. I will be back without question! I thank you all! PS - Feels good to go into a well organized shop with all the amenities you'd want if you chose to wait & they don't charge double for the repairs... Need I say BMW Global, $152 for an oil change... This review has been long overdue . Had my car worked on about a year for some major maintenance. I own a 2001 bmw 740i and I had to have my timing chain guides replaced out of fear of them failing due to age. Raquel was awesome and the work performed was extraordinary. Being that it was a very expensive repair ($3500 ) Raquel helped me and was able to give me a discount on all the parts for the job which I couldn't be more thankful for. While I love my Mini dealership, after comparing prices for a simple repair, I may be cheating on them with Bimmers! I recently replaced the front and back brakes on my Mini Cooper and the drivers side brake sensor came loose and was hitting the tire. As it came loose, there was a loud noise from my drivers side front tire when I applied my brakes or would turn corners. The brakes worked perfectly but the knocking noise from the loose sensor wire was getting on my nerves! I called the dealer and was given a price of $140. I called Bimmer to compare and was told $70. I repeated what I wanted done again, just in case I was hearing things, and he repeated $70. Was this some kind of joke or did I need to buy some lottery tickets!? After making an appointment, even changing the appointment time, I was treated like a million bucks when I walked in the door. I love when businesses go the extra step to make their customers feel welcome...even though I was dressed like a hobo! The waiting room is very relaxing. Deep leather couches, a big TV that isn't blaring a news network (extra points for that!) and free Wifi. If they had a Keurig machine I would consider moving in. Imagine my surprise when I was in and out under 30 minutes. I had planned to spend my afternoon waiting but I barely got in to the football game and was told my car was already done. Did I mention their $50 synthetic oil change? Jiffy Lube charges $109 and the dealership charges $119. Don't pay for their overhead-go to Bimmers!! Bimmer handles anything and everything relating to BMW's. I know where I'll be taking my Mini Cooper for service from now on. read more

With my service engine light came on I took it to another location only to have them refer me to Bimmer's. Bimmer's office space was very inviting and relaxing. I dealt with Rackel the office manager when I dropped my car off. She was very detail and made sure I understood the process and kept me informed as the technician worked on my car. Their prices are way cheaper than the dealership and their customer service is even better. African American Women stay away! There's a new manager named Creighton who treats African American Women like they are idiots. I spent $578 this visit that included parts & labor for a new window switch & now my door handle is ruined. I was advised by Tyler that my window switch was defective so I opted to have it replaced. When I got into my car to leave, I wrapped my hand around the handle to close the door as per my normal routine to close my door & the handle had been ruined. I immediately made the team aware of it. They denied that they had anything to do with it. In fact, they said they were not even close to it. The manager Creighton was obviously trying to handle the African American Female so I asked for the contact information of the owner. He had helped me a time or two before with oil changes etc. The manager, Creighton refused to give me the owners contact information. I left abruptly & in tears due to the blatant disrespect shown by this new manager. When I got in the car and pulled out to the red light, the smell of burnt rubber from the handle filled the car so I went back to the shop with more evidence that Creighton was treating me like an idiot. Again, he refused to take ownership for what seems like a simple mistake. I took pictures of the sticky residue melting from my door handle onto my hand because I won't let them get away with this. One of the most difficult reviews I have ever written here on YELP Bimmers Service presented me with several oportunities to turn tail and never return and the suprised me with an act that made me comback and try again. I'm not sure if it's how squeeky clean the place is, the free soda, the kindness of the customer service liasons who NEVER lay a hand on your car but I returned time and again after getting less than perfect results. The problem is this: if you bring in your extremely complex automobile that runs on 12 -20 different little compouters and has an electronic control system that you could probably convert to land a lawnmower on the moon, fixing your car can be a costly adventure to say the least. My BMW is almost 12 years old and the electronics arent even state of the art anymore and it is still has severl miles of wire tucked into every inch of available space to make the wheels go-round. So when my baby started to cough and spit like it had the flu I put it on the diagnostic code reader that all BMW owners should have and pulled the codes. Now just pulling the codes doesnt give you an answer. Its kinda like a doctor taking your temp and asking you what you have been coughing up taking an xray of your chest. No one thing tells you whats wrong put put all the things together and the doctor makes an educated guess and gives you the things you need to repair yourself and move on. In my case the codes said things like "lean mix in bank one" and "low voltage readings on oxygen sensors". With a little bit of online research i found that usually means your girl has a vacuume leak. Sounds simple enough untill you start researching a little more and find that the vacuume system includes things like power steering, crankcase ventilation, intake manifold, about 6 more systems and another mile of tubing so I looked, I poked, I prodded untill one day I find myself in Griffin, GA and my car wont start. One day and a flatbed later I find myself in Bimmers waiting room with the most pleasent voiced liason telling me I have several things that need repaired not the least being the CCV valve and the Mass Airflow Sensor. I knew this wasnt going to be easy but this repair bill started @ $1100 plus. Plus what I said. Well threre was no garuntee this was going to allow me to drive off the lot, rid of the cough and spit I had before the dam thing up and died. Fortunately I knew the CCV Valve could not be the culprit: No copious amounts or white smoke from the tail pipe as I had read in my research. The liason did say that yes I had a vacuume leak and the replacing the CCV valve and associated tubing should clear the problem but why couldnt they just replace the tubing that was most likely the problem? The liason said, "because it comes as a kit that cant bepurchased seperately. All of a sudden the "BULLSHIT" light started flashing, plain as day, across his forehead. So I immediately declined the $600 repair and brought in my own replacement Mass Airflow Sensor coming in at almost $375 less than the super secert special one that Bimmers had found for me. They installed it for me and presented me with a $300+ bill for the diagnostic and the 1 hour of labor for the airflow sensor install. I wasnt biting and after a little back and forth I got out of there for about $119 with the car starting, and back to running rough and off to find another repair shop in Kennesaw. There is more to the story and you will find it at my next stop looking for a fix. But here is the lesson learned at Bimmers: These guys didnt look past what the diagnostic codes said. They didnt look under the hood, they didnt put the car up on the lift to take a look. If they did, they would have found the $3 dollar hose that needed replacing. If I let bimmers do what they said I needed done I would have been out the $1000 plus in initial repairs and they would be back looking for more when that didnt fix my problem. one star for a clean and inviting waiting room, one star for the nice guys inside who allowed me to get out easily for about 100 bucks. read more

I like it here. They are convenient and fairly priced. The waiting room is pleasant and the staff is very nice. They make recommendations on items my car needs without any pressure. I never have to wait long. All of these guys used to work at Global, United or Roswell BMW and are certified. They do a great job. So much better than schlepping across town to Global. Went there a second time because another shop (which I'll review separately) added too much transmission fluid. This reaffirms my 5 star review as they quickly fixed the issue for a very reasonable rate, keep in mind that the issue was caused by another less competent shop. Truly impressed! ------- First review, also 5 stars My first impression of the business was positive, the shop area is very clean, well lit, and organized. The waiting are is nice and has free drinks (much appreciated, although something to nibble on would be even better). But what I really came for was the service. Their prices (just call and they'll quote you) are comparable to other BMW independent mechanics around Atlanta. Personally I had a transfer case fluid change and both the service advisor and mechanic were willing to help and didn't upsell services I didn't actually need despite the SA being on commission. They also showed me the underside of my 328 so I could see any issues I had. The only downside I can see is the location, there's really not much to do around the area if you decide to wait around for repairs. Highly recommended. read more

Bimmers Service Center leaves me with a sense that I am dealing with a professional organization with a clean well organized facility, manned by a friendly and competent staff. Their prices are more then competitive with the Dealerships in the area and I highly recommend them to handle all you service and repair needs for your BMW or Mini. I must write about this... I purchased an inexpensive 2007 BMW X3 and all is fine except the headlights needed adjusting... one pointing straight down and the other to the sky. The adjustment screw was broke or out of place. Short of taking to the dealer... I took to 3 qualified BMW repair shops that all recommended while new assemblies for my headlights at a cost of $800-$1,000.... WHAT? So I went into Bimmers and Creighton Johnson said they were partially correct but make an appointment and I will charge you our hourly rate just to look and if anything can be done short of replacement. So I went there at 9 AM and by 10:00AM he had fixed the alignment, put the adjustment screws back in place and for the original agreed fee of $75. Unbelievable... I highly recommend these guys/gals and they now have a customer (and more, sending others) as long as I own this car. Thx Creighton and Staff at Bimmers. read more

Best BMW techs in the Southeast and certainly the Atlanta area. These guys are all BMW master techs and are straight shooting no nonsense. If your car has an issue they're going to sort it out. If you drive an expensive German car you want top quality guys doing the work. Been going there since I bought my M Roadster and I'm moving now so I know I won't be able to find another shop like this without going to the BMW dealership where I'll pay double no doubt. Terrible Service... Came in to get my engine checked out after completing the service the cost of 1150 (very overpriced) to replace the radiator ... after a few days of driving my check engine light came on therefore I came back to "Bimmer" letting them hold my car for a week to get the problem checked out for the second time and they so called found out that it is a crack in the head gasket... how do you replace a radiator without checking the head gasket???!?? I got a estimate for the service cost around 3500(overpriced) which cost over the value of the BMW therefore I decline the service. I came to pick up my car after an hour of picking my car up my car started to having a lot of problems than it originally had which is kind of strange...... at the end of the day I sold the car... read more

They are certified BMW mechanics and costs are reasonable. The waiting area is very pleasant and clean and yes, even a clean restroom. After doing some fixes here and having it be my go-to for oil changes for 5 years, I say BYE! And not a good one, as I called in today to make an appointment for another oil change, the receptionist greeted me and said sure, and asked what time i would like to go in today. (They always have same day availability) for the past 5 years! I said this morning or noon and she said sure again and to hold. She came back on the line and said, now we have a ton of repairs here on our list that your car needs fixed, (my car is riding fine without all of those "fixes" it needs), would you like to take care of any of those today as well? I kindly replied, no. Because I do know their main goal is to over-charge and get out as much money from your pocket for simple things like an air filter that costs $20. And they charge over $100. As soon as I replied no, just the oil change, thanks, she said, okay well we do not have any appointments available for just the oil change for the REST OF THE WEEK. Call us back next week. Not even an, let's schedule you for next week. No. So that shows you what kind of people and business they are. (It's Monday!!! Note my earlier sentence where they have always had availability for 5 years). They did not want me in for just an oil change. What kind of business is this?!? So long! read more

This place deserves a no stars . I became suspicious about this place after taking my car in for oil changes. After each oil changes, the manager will always return with a list of things that need fixing and a huge price tag attached. It so turned out that my 328 BMW needed a Valve Cover Gasket, the manager presented an estimate that was out of this world...$3500 was the price to fix. After a little networking and Google search, I was able to find someone to take care of the repairs for half that price..saving me more than $1500. Bimmer's Service Center is a scam place, do your homework before they rip you off. read more

Took our car in with a sound coming from the engine as well as several oil leaks. After an over $4,000 repair, the sound wasn't gone. After looking at the car again, the guy told us we needed a new engine. When we told the owner that we would have never made an over $4,000 repair to an engine that needs replacing, he said all he was willing to do is split the labor. So... we paid him just short of $3,800 and still need a new engine. I really, really regret taking my car there. read more

I took my car here after an oil leak and my belt slipped off of my alternator. They gave me an inflated price so I told them I would have it towed elsewhere. They parked the car outside of the bay, jammed the transmission causing additional damage and took the transmission key from the back compartment. I called them to ask them about the key and everyone played deaf and dumb. I had no issue with my transmission before I dropped my car off, nor was a transmission issue a part of my estimate. However, once I decided to have my car towed elsewhere my car could not be taken out of gear. I would not recommend this shop. They are as expensive as a dealership and are vindictive if you decide not to get a second opinion and or go elsewhere. read more

I had 50/50 split if I was going to go and get service (oil change) from this business based on the reviews. I was greeted the moment I walked in by Lisa with a warm, welcomed smile. She asked me if it was my first time there, I answered yes. She explained I had to fill out a new customer form to put me in the system and that the wait time would be 1 hour and asked if I would wait. I answered yes, I would wait. Well, it only took 20 minutes to complete my service. I was impressed and mentioned to them I was skeptical about coming to their establishment because of the reviews. I left a satisfied customer. I have a 2011 328I the rate was $63.00 total for the oil change and the dealership is double that price. I recommend this business. read more
