I've got nothing but good things to say about this location and compared to the other 2 auto parts store close by its not even close. Brandi has been their the last few times I've visited is knowledgeable,friendly and has always given me service with a smile, she seems genuinely happy which makes it a pleasure to come back. After purchasing a battery I received 20 dollars in speed perks their reward program which allows you to use 10 bucks when making purchases of 10 bucks or more I needed a rear wiper blade on the car today which cost me 12.75 so I paid 2.96 with tax out the door. Not bad in fact I have 10 bucks left so I'm ordering some air fresheners shortly and its going to run me about the same. I've been to all the auto parts stores in this area many times but as long as the service here stays the same I will continue to come back. Wow! My first visit at Advanced Auto was with Brandy. She is amazing, knows a lot about cars and was a breath of fresh air to me who doesn't know much about car repairs. Brandy wants to empower women by listening to them and help them learn more about cars. As far as these other reviews, I don't know. This was genuinely worst buying or human interaction that I ever experienced with store employee in a loooong time, this employee named Chad was very rude and cranky from the start to finish, this guy is way overdue for re-training for customer service..I generally don't leave review let alone negative one but this was too much. I used to work here...District Management don't give a (flip) about employees..Not to mention the excessive issues the store has assisting costumers. Every auto parts item is extremely overpriced just to pay back the store for getting that part for YOU. Status is a very real thing here. Don't be the new (guy).Everyone will temporarily force you to comply and do work your not supposed to be doing. Did I mention that no matter what you put down for your hours they'll only schedule you for times THEY want you to work. It's really embarrassing for me. I used to be a regular customer here and EVEN considered a job here for myself. Shortly after I seen the BS behind the scenes of advance auto. No one wants to do their job, poor costumer assistance and little information once you walk out of a (Advance) auto parts store just to be sent to a mechanic. The General Manager of the store on is KD and is a great guy if you are the type of customer who likes to be mocked, harassed and loves confrontation. He is a get in your face ill tempered stand up kind of guy. Extremely racial. After any confrontation with a customer he immediately gets on the phone with the district manager (DM) and twists the story around in his favor to cover his a$$. This type of character would be an embarrassment to any company he works for and should be terminated from Advance Auto Parts but the DM continues to protect him for some reason. I really do not like O'rielly's but will go there before I go back to the Denton Hwy store with that same manager. read more

This location has always been my go to since it's so close to my house. Freeman was very informative and helpful. He took the time to break things down to me so I can understand why my car needed his recommendations for my battery. I felt he went above and beyond the normal customer service I'm used to getting. I try to support brick and mortar stores in my area by buying locally as opposed to using Amazon. I will be scratching Advanced off my list of local businesses to buy from. I had the worst customer service experience of my life in this Advanced location. It involved the return of parts that had been bought 2 days prior. After a violent verbal exchange and nearly a fist fight, the manager on duty did refund my money. This may be an isolated issue and hopefully Advanced management corrects the problem. Advanced has been a reliable source for parts but for now, I'll be buying my parts from O'reilly, NAPA or on line. read more

Bought a battery at this store, which I asked if it was BMW certified, to which the answer was yes, and when I picked my car up from the shop that installed it and tried to take it back to get the rebate it unfortunately died again. The man who tried to jump my car who is allegedly the general manager put the cables on, I then watched him switch the live positive and negative on the terminals which then blew my fuse box. Literally suggest any other auto parts store, I called corporate over the incident and they were equally as unhelpful, they just didn't cost me hundreds of dollars at the BMW shop. read more
