July 13 at 9 AM I went in there and waited forever while one customer yammered on about airplanes. I waited in line patiently and then the manager walked through when an employee told him this guy has been waiting a while, the manager just said "he'll all right" and walked on. I've been coming to Advance Auto Parts for years. I love that they will test your car battery for free! They also have an excellent replacement program on batteries. I usually purchase the Gold car battery which has 3 year free replacement. They will also install it for free too! Occasionally I purchase other things here like windshield wipers and seat covers. Prices are higher than a big box store but many times you can find online coupons and weekly store sales. Staff are helpful too. Advance Auto Parts is a good place to come to for a quick auto parts or a check on your battery when you don't want to wait for your mechanic. read more

Kyle was assisting as well. She not only went out of her way but explained everything to me and was so kind, professional, personable, knowledgeable and patient. 4 stars for the crew at this Winter Springs location. Since I drive an unbelievable amount every day I regularly need items such as seafoam, windshield wiper fluid or even windshield wiper blades and the ever hated new battery. There's pretty much nothing car related that they don't have it in stock or... Can't get that day. That's not a big deal until you are the one that needs the part or supplies that day! Every time I've been in the store I was greeted relatively shortly after arriving and offered help. I've learned to gladly except their help because for the most part they are more knowledgeable than me about cars and have done me right so far. The prices may not be as cheap as you can find them online. You can be resourceful and go to the website subscribe to their email and you'll probably get a 20% off coupon within 10 minutes. I know I get them all the time and save them in my email because from time to time they become quite handy. The location is particularly good here and that is because of access.... Let me explain. When you approach the intersection of red bug Lake Road and Tuscawilla there's a lot of congestion and not a lot of entrances and exits out of The shopping center that has hobby lobby in it which shares the corner with advance auto parts. The median cuts through the both sides of Tuscawilla and if you drive that area you know that's a difficult thing to find around the shopping centers. Again it doesn't sound like a big deal... Until it's your problem and you're trying to pull out. So tuck that little hint away for future use. All in all, I've got nothing bad to say. The service is consistently good, the prices are reasonable and the location is good. Keep up the good work guys. read more

This store has very friendly staff however it is kind of tough to find your way around the store. I will admit that much of my problems may be my own in this regard since I am not a motor head. :) Nice convenient location for some auto items that I need and although I find myself walking around in the store to find what I need, I like the store quite a bit. read more

After reading some of the other reviews of this location I felt the need to come to the defense of my favorite local auto parts store. The parts and service at this store are great. All the staff is relatively knowledgeable and eager to help. It's not the biggest store in the world but if you need a part that they don't have on-hand they can usually get in within 24 hours. I recently replaced my radiator. They didn't have the part on-hand and told me they had to order it from the warehouse. They staff member asked me if "I was in a hurry" and I told him I needed to get the job done that day. Seeing I was in a pinch one of the staff members drove to the warehouse (on a Sunday) and had the part I needed within an hour. Great service! They offer a lot of other little things too. If you buy a new headlamp or a new wiper blade they always ask if you need help installing it. My uber-machismo usually prohibits me from taking them up on the offer but it's always a nice gesture. They will test and charge your battery for free as well. That particular service has saved me several times. The staff is pretty knowledgeable about cars and parts. It's not quite the same as advice from your mechanic but they know a lot more than some kid working at Wal-Mart. I've never been disappointed with the selection or service at this store and I hope they stay around for a long time. read more

Ruined my morning. I walked in to this store because it was on my way to work and I needed to return a part that I bought at another location. Unfortunately the part was electronic and I had tried it on my car, that particular part wasn't the issue so I needed to return. The sales person, Richard is his name, started to bash me for even attempting to return this item. I could understand that he couldn't return but goodness he was insulting me saying things like, "you should know better" and "everybody knows you can't return electrical item after you try them". This was one grump old man. I told him that the original store said I could return if it didn't work out for me, that's when he gave a sigh and started clicking on his computer and gave me the money back. I was pretty upset after Richard's onslaught of insults but kept my mouth shut because he was proceeding with the return. He put the money on the counter instead of my hand and didn't reply when I told him "have a good day" and "happy new year". This was a bad experience, really just ruined my morning. Needless to say I'm not returning to this location. read more

Not sure if I caught them on a bad day, but the employees we're not pleasant at all. Their body language alone said "leave me alone". One guy who was behind the counter, by the name of Joe I believe, didn't even acknowledge several customer s as the waited patiently in line. I went there to have my car battery checked. After I asked for someone check my battery one of the male workers wearing a mask begrudgingly came outside to check the battery. The battery failed more rapidly than I've ever seen in the many years of having parts checked by auto parts stores. I though nothing of it but asked the worker to check the system if it was under warranty since I had bought the battery from another advanced auto store. He explained that the stores don't share any information about parts purchases and unless it was bought there he couldn't check the warranty. So I checked my phone for a couple of the receipt but didn't find one. Still needing a new battery I went inside to purchase a battery. This time I got a different worker to assist with my purchase. This time it was a blonde female worker not wearing a mask looking bored and from all appearances not wanting to either be at her job or taking care of me. She proceeded to gather the car information needed to find the correct part. When she was asking for the car information I stepped forward to answer her questions and she told me to get behind a counter apparently for "social distancing". I looked at the other registers and all of the customers were beside the "masked" person helping them. So I asked why I to be so far away and why she was not wearing a mask. At which point she made a snarky remark and rather than make stink I just left. I will never use Advanced Auto parts again, terrible service at time when people should be happy to have a job. read more

Needed some bike oil for my cruiser. Been to this location about 3 times now. Staff is pretty good and seemingly knowledgeable about the auto world basics. Anyway they are good about giving me my military discount!! I would go back as much as I needed too. read more
