I was given an estimate regarding how long it would take and waited in their office area. I was told upon inspection that no leaks were detected so they recommended to just add Freon and a type of dye in case there is a leak in the future they can locate it. I was in the waiting room from 10:00 am until 3pm. The copy of my bill is posted they charged me $838.30 for a water pump, fan & air conditioning fluid. Initially it was half as much. When I came back from lunch they said the fan needed to be replaced for another $300. I must be as dumb as I look. I only came here because of the other reviews that specifically said they were quick and fairly priced I can see I am a minority here but I will not be back.. Everyone was very nice but the price just does not sit well with me regardless of my car being fixed this kind of charge to me is nauseating.. My car needed minimal service it turned out. Yay! He took me right away and worked on it while I waited. They had me sit in the comfortable, air conditioned lounge. Jodi offered to change the radio for me, plus there was a diverse array of CURRENT magazine selections to choose from (who does that? Every auto shop needs a woman's touch!) Just wanted to say i changed my review from 4 stars to 5 because of the kindness of the shop man. I wasnt able to pick up my car on time and he let my car stay until monday. I am very happy this place exists!!! First time coming here: In the beginning i wasnt impressed because (as USUAL for car places) they quoted me a time my car would be ready and naturally it wasnt done til 2 hours past quoted...hate that. But! The price to fix my overheating car was quite reasonable and the receptionist when I called was VERY friendly (i was shocked too). The man who was in charge of fixing my car wasnt rude at all. Another shop last year cost $108 to recharge my car AC, and told me there was a leak and cost for repair $450! I passed on it. This year AC worked great when it was cool out but not so good if it got hot. Went to Advance. Greeted right away, told him the problem, said it would take about 30 minutes. I waited in the office, offered bottle of cold water. Car was done in about 25 minutes, said he found 2 small leaks fixed but wants me to come back in 2 weeks to check on it, no charge. Looked for a place closer to me but they only work on German cars...yeah...way to limit themselves. Advance, however, was absolutely awesome! Worked with Jose and explained my a/c problem to him. He told me the price to check it out & I agreed. Then he called to let me know exactly what was wrong & the estimate to fix it. It was expensive (to me anyway), but I doubt it would have been cheaper elsewhere. He called a few hours later to let me know it was ready, I paid the price (only a little over the estimate), and all I can say is WOW!!!
