I took my truck to this advanced auto center ''advanced" He told me it would be $500 to get a transmission cooler installed. He called me back twice saying that the part I brought was not the right size when the part I brought is for my exact truck year and model. He then tried to say I had to pay more money for him, not being able to install it. The work for my signed said nothing about extra fees or me having to pay more for him not being able to install my part. Do not take your car here. Or any vehicle they will rip you off and hit you with extra This place is a hole in the wall. I understand how estimates work but this was a clear verbal over the phone where KARIM stated the price and I confirmed this by repeating what he said to ensure we were on the same page. Upon retrieving my car today: 2/20/24, the price was $120 + more. When you deal with shady companies like this, you are at their mercy as they have your transportation under their control. I can't believe what I am reading on yelp after our experience here. Only pros: the owner Karim and Junior where very nice and helpful. Even thought they where nice I would not recommend this repair shop to my enemies!!! We brought our VW Touareg in for 2 reasons to get the door handle fixed on one side and the window that needed a new regeluator on the other side. They did not fix the door handle like discussed, instead they just screwed some holes behind where the handle supposed to be and Mark said " he made it practical" for us. We did not ask him to make anything practical. He said he was going to order the panel and fix it right. So when we picked up the car junior said the panel was not available anymore. Okay, why didn't anyone call me and let me know? Just to make an extra 100$ and mess up the whole door side? Then the side with the window down needed a new regulator (at least thats what they said) when we picked up the car we noticed a whrisling sound. And that the window is not going down like the other one. So we brought it back again. 2. Try. They called and said they think it's one other part and they will fix it at no cost. Picked up the car again just to find the door side smashed and parts missing. 3. Try. We brought the car back in, they fixed the side and "found" the missing parts. Well thanks advanced Auto repair, we finally think it's ok, but the window side still makes some sounds. We are not going back again after so many times, having people do a super sloppy job on our car. They also unplugged something from my front light. Probably by accident and did not even bother to check it.(in my heart I try to believe that they had no bad intensions) I found out today, at the other repair shop that someone must unplugged it since it needs to be "clicked" in and can't just get lose by itself. And since the light came in after beeing at advanced repair shop it must had happened there . I came to change the break fluid for my Honda Accord. I expected that it will be the fluid change with bleeding. But instead of this they just removed the cylinder fluid and did not bleed the system. When I checked the the fluid water percentage, my break fluid tester shows me about 3% water. This is about the same, as I had before this service. This is my fault, that I did not realize it and did not cancel the "service". So, this is up to you to decide, do you want to use it or not. read more

I brought my VW Tiguan in on 04/08/2021. The engine light came on while I was driving home from work. They were very close to my home, so I left my car with them, and they said they would call with with an estimate the next morning. My car was due for a oil change as well, and I asked for my tires to be rotated. He gave me an estimate of 418. for everything. He had to do spark plugs and an ignition coil. I was told the car was ready, and I needed to be there before 6:pm. I had a friend drop me off to pick up my car. I was told they forgot to change the oil. The car had not had the oil changed yet, and the tires were never rotated. While I am standing there waiting for my car, they started changing the oil. The charge was 448.73, and was told it was more because of tax. He also told me they had to drive it 10-12 miles to make sure it ran correctly. In reality they drove my car 55 miles and used almost a quarter of a tank of gas!!! What the hell! Did they go to LA? Did someone take it home for lunch? They f***ing robbed me. Oh and Covid safety! NO MASKS ON THREE PEOPLE WORKING IN THE TINY OFFICE, where I was forced to come in and pay. I kept my mask on the entire time of course. Stay far away from this creepy place. I drove my car in with fifth cylinder misfire. We talked about a price of replacing all 6 plugs for 450. I reminded Karim to diagnose before replacing them. He told me to pick up the car later that day. Later I went there, the car was not ready and the sound was terrible. I guess it was because some plugs were not in place. I had to leave the car there. Next day Karim called me saying it was the forth coil but plugs were almost done so I need to pay for the plugs and the coil. I swallowed that. After leaving for 10 mins same issue happened again and I drove back. They read the code and it was the same code I went there two days ago. But Karim insist they replaced the right coil. After finally replacing the fifth coil the car seemed ok. But when I rev up the engine the engine light was on again. I gave up and paid another 125 for another coil and left. Suggest avoid the shop if you don't have all your life and all your money to squander there. read more

Terrible experience. We took the car for repair and to get engine lights off. We had to take the car multiple times because they did not have the part. After their work was completed the lights were not off and Karim re did the job with USED non working parts. When I brought it up to his attention he claimed the price he gave me was very low and I couldn't have expected new parts.....I wish I knew I was paying for nothing cause the car was not fixed and I spent a lot of hours dealing with him. Karim is a personable liar. He tried to sell me a car. I specifically asked if it had ever been used as a rental. He said no. I asked if it had ever been in an accident. He said it was in a minor accident. I asked to see the repair report. He said he did the work in his shop. No report. It just needed some paint. He put the paperwork in front of me and tried to rush me into buying it. I then looked at carfax. It had been a rental and it had been in a multi-vehicle, major accident, with frame damage. He bought it at auction under his wife's name, fixed it up, and posted it for sale. I see that his prior business was shut down. He opened this business at a new location under a different name.
