[Wednesday late morning visit] I've been experiencing tire pressure problems for a couple of months and decided to get it checked out by professionals. I found this shop by looking at the options on Google Maps. I found their website and filled out a contact form early in the morning. Within just a few hours, I was called to confirm what I needed to do with my car. I drove over and I took extra effort trying to find the actual location of the shop. Michael was the person that greeted me and quickly assisted me in checking in my car. I was provided an initial invoice and was told that $50 would be the cost if repairs need to be done. Michael told me that the process in general would be quick but it depends on if his mechanic can easily find the issue with the tire. I told him, I'll be in the area and he said he'll give me a call when things are ready. Grabbed some lunch nearby and right after I finished my last bite, Michael called me back saying my car is ready to pick up. I quickly returned and Michael showed me that the culprit of tire issue was a long screw that was logged in fairly quickly into my tire. I'm glad the repair was quick and cheap. The start button had been acting up and the engine went from totally silent to a slight hum. He had my car for 4 days and when I got it back it ran like new and the starter problem was fixed. The appointment was easy to make on here too and they replied very fast with a quote. I went in for A/C repair and recharge and Carlos helped me and was very honest with me and broke everything down so I could understand because it's my first car! He also tried to help me program my non-working key without charging me for it but just to help me out :) he gave me honest advice too and he was very communicative and funny. We talked a little about the price and we got settled on ordering some performance rotors and street brake pads. Three days later the part have arrived and I dropped off the car. Next day I got a call to come to pick up the car.Attention to detail was impressive. They have replaced pads rotors,sensors even cleaned my wheels and dust from calipers The car looked great. Even from a brake in of the rotors I have not seen any dust. The problem was fixed, I was happy. To anyone who considers a quality mechanic do recommend to check this place out. I was getting ready to take my car on a road trip and was having problems starting the car so I called in and spoke to Carlos. That night I brought in my car after normal hours so Carlos could check it out and determined it was a bad fuel pump. The next morning he ordered a fuel pump and it arrived pretty quick. After it arrived he went straight to work and I was on the road by noon. He even upgraded my SUV's computer system. When it was finally time to go on the road trip I had no problems and my mileage was even increased by 1.5 miles! On another occasion I took my Tacoma in when the AC wasn't working correctly. Carlos checked out my car and determined that the AC compressor should've been serviced a long while ago. He fixed my car pretty quickly and the AC was back in business. Carlos is the most honest mechanic ever...... so i bought a 2009 f150 from a small dealership, keep in mind i dont know anything mechanically about cars. so when i bought the truck it had minor problems like bad tire sensors... bought new ones ok cool right..., shortly after the radio stopped working and i couldnt figure it out, after about 3 days i decided to go to an auto shop.... so then i went to " advanced auto repair" , where i left it too carlos (the owner of the shop).... for about 2 hrs... when i went to pick up my truck carlos had some bad news for me... not only were the tire sensors bad, but the truck also had 4 fault codes!!!.... which the dealer did not mention..... and also the radio cover on the truck was plastered on!!! so the whole truck was basically a mess.... moral of the story Carlos could have kept me coming back and forth to his shop taking my money, but instead was honest and saved me $26,000 because the very next day i returned that piece of shit to "MAG MOTORS" in walnut creek, those people will rip you off!!! Great shop I found just a quick walk from the shop I work out of. I had pre-purchased tires and needed them mounted and balanced ASAP but could not find the time to get it done. I found Advanced on yelp and called and they were able to do it for me almost like I walked in, or via drive through. Usually a shop gives a time frame to bring your car in and depending on that time given, your car may not be finished until the following day. This was as quick as bang bang. Super friendly staff.
