Absolutely the worst service in DME companies; I spoke with someone named Ron. Upon checking almost all the reviews, he's the problem of the company. Ron is extremely rude. He doesn't care about your circumstance and when you try to speak, he talks over you and makes assumptions rather than listen to what you're saying. He was abrupt with his responses and used a harsh tone. Not sure if he had a bad day, but it doesn't give him the right to act this way, especially with him being the supervisor. read more

VERY SUSPICIOUS. PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!! I had our family doctor order a pump for us since it was the only to get one through my insurance. A short time later I was contacted by Ron who was very unprofessional. He told me to call my insurance company to see the max that they would pay for a breast pump. I called my insurance and they said they covered 100% of the cost. I relay this information to Ron, and he is adamant that he NEEDS the exact dollar amount that the insurance company is willing to pay. He kept pressing me to ask ask ask; he goes on to blatantly tell me to "Give them [the insurance company] the code E0603, it's insider information, don't let them know I coached you, I'm not gonna let the insurance company trick you," I call my insurance once again explaining to them the situation, they ask for his number, and as soon as they put me on hold to call Ron; he sends me a text saying "sorry can't talk right now." Ultimately my insurance set me up with a most trustworthy provider of breastpumps. My thought is they want to get the max amount of money from your insurance while they send you an inferior product. Say your insurance will pay at most $500, Ron will send you a $300 pump and pocket the extra $200. Very suspicious provider, please be careful when dealing with this place, even my insurance company was hesitant to deal with them. read more

They were on a list Blue Cross gave me. I called them and advised I have a doctor prescription and referral form for a wheelchair for my daughter. They immediately advised me I needed to call their representative Ron. I called him and his tone was so very unprofessional. He was so very rudely concerned about who I was and how I got his number. He tried to verbally assume dominance and intimidation. I advised him I needed it for 3 months. He immediately advised me he could not help me because he only assists people with long term needs. He advised me rudely to call my insurance for a referral list that could help me. I then advised him that the insurance did give me a list and that's how I obtained their number. He was very uninterested in trying to help or assist me. Once he concluded he was not going to make money off of me, he could care less of my daughter's needs. They must rent long term wherein the customer fully pays for the wheelchair then upon returning it they probably sell it to make money twice. read more

I was referred to advanced home medical for my breast pump. Ron helped me from start to finish. He went above and beyond to help me. Ron provided me with exceptional service, he upgraded me to the better breast pump for FREE because I'm carrying twins! If that's wasn't enough he was kind enough to drop it off to house! This is seriously the worst company i have ever dealt with. I am pregnant and this guy Ron is asking me to call the insurance company and give them all these codes and ask these questions to see if its covered or not. I needed a breast pump either way so I did it. The insurance company told me that they wouldn't cover services through him...... pretty shady guy. I feel bad for his staff he treats them like crap! Ok, so after receiving this companies info to order my breast pump through insurance I looked them up on Yelp and was SUPER APPREHENSIVE about going through the process based on all the negative reviews. However, since it's been difficult to find a pharmacy that accepts medical, I figured I'd trek on and see what happened. I was advised by Medical to just fax my prescription over with proof of insurance and my info and then I should call to check if they received everything. I didn't get my paperwork in until about 3pm yesterday so figured I'd call today. Instead, I received a call by 10am from Jessica confirming they received my prescription and got my address to send my single electric Evenflo. She was very pleasant and efficient. After our conversion I checked reviews on the breast pump and decided I wanted to call her and see what other options I had. She informed me that I could get the Medela Advanced Double for a $75 upcharge, which was one I had been wanting but couldn't afford the over $200 price tag. I felt this was an ideal fix and decided on the upgrade, paid the PayPal invoice and am awaiting my new pump. So far this pharmacy has been a dream to work with and nothing seems unordinary about the practice. Not sure about everyone else's experience, but so far I am very happy and grateful for mine. read more

Absolutely worst experience of my life. I was trying to get a breast pump for my wife through Molina Apple Health of WA and the only vendor authorized for a purchase pump is this company. I contacted the company and they responded with a bill for $75 and called it an "upgrade charge". I contacted the insurance company and they told me that it was ILLEGAL for him to directly bill or charge for a Medicaid Patient. Even got him on the phone with the insurance company and he was extremely RUDE to me as well as the insurance company. After the call agent for Molina told RON that it would be illegal for him to up-charge me for a double pump, he was even more rude. Ron had text me, as he was in a meeting, and told me that since the agent with Molina, made it sound like she wanted to get him in trouble, he no longer will even offer to give us the pump that is supposedly provided by Molina insurance. So now because this Ron Real, gentleman refuses to provide us with what the insurance provides, we will have to drive 3 hours just to obtain a rental unit from the nearest shop that will accept the insurance. Caution !!!!! Ron is a terrible. Very unprofessional and condescending. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Navigating though the healthcare system can be a daunting task as it is , when I was contacted by advanced home medical I had a lot of questions about the breast pump that my insurance would cover , I was receiving mixed information from this company and my insurance company . So with some hesitation I requested to seek more information before ordering a pump though them. When trying to ask Ron questions I was met with frequent interruptions, a lack of understanding, or explanations. Ron did not allow me ask ample questions without rudely interrupting me. After doing my own research I called back a few days later to order a pump, Ron advised me that the order has been cancelled and he could no longer help me, when asked for an explanation and if this could be reversed Ron began to argue with me , asking why I didn't go through the other companies I mentioned etc. After getting very frustrated and upset Ron asked me to stop contacting the company. When i asked for his last name he told me to "stop harassing " him. During a exciting yet stressful time such as child birth, this is not a company with compassion or professionalism. I would highly discourage contacting this company for any medical supplies let alone a breast pump. RON REAL should not be working for this company. Sent me a pump without talking to me. Not the pump I wanted. When I called they told me there was NO WAY to get the pump I wanted and I was only eligible for this one pump. I wait for my pump to come. I get home from my c section, still no pump. I call. They CANCELED my order completely and the rep, who was super rude to me in the first place, left a bunch of false notes on my account. They said they could very well send me the exact pump I requested, but it would be $100 extra. Well it had been two weeks and I did not have $100 to spare and I needed a pump mailed out that day. If they had told me initially, I would have had time to get the money. The pump finally comes and it's a piece of crap. Barely any suction. Single pump. Comes with one flange. Manual says it shouldn't be used more than twice a day. Complete stressful waste of time. Horrible company and don't know why they are still allowed to operate. read more

Needed a knee scooter and this was one of the few providers in network. Not very easy to work with - they make it more difficult than it needs to be. When I asked Ron why their price on a scooter was 4 times more than online, he flipped out on me. Told me my order was cancelled and to go elsewhere. Then proceeded to say if I called the office to report him he would sue me for harassment. Since when is asking a company to explain their pricing harassment? Very unprofessional and completely out of line. Judging from other reviews, this has been an issue with Ron for over 6 years, but it seems nothing has changed. Wow, if there was a zero star option I would have selected that! I'm 30 weeks pregnant and starting to investigate breast pumps. My insurance company gave me this number and the number of another supplier that I'd be covered under. I called to see what pumps I could select from and what the process would be. I got hooked up with Ron Real and he had to be the rudest person ever!! He spoke to me like I was an idiot and rushed to answer my question before I even had it out of my mouth. When I tried to simply clarify what he said, he again rushed to repeat his answer. His frustrated sigh after speaking with me for 30 seconds was completely inappropriate! DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM. My first interaction with this company was not by choice. A guy from this company named Ron texted me(how they got my number is unknown) He claimed my doctor contacted him about a breast pump for me and that he needed to know my insurance name and info. He proceeded to ask for a texted pic of my insurance card. Already this interaction was off to an unprofessional, shady start. I decided to investigate further and called the number. "Ron" answered the phone and very poorly and rudely tried to not only claim he had not received complete info from my Dr., but that he claimed the insurance I had only covered "a basic pump and that i should upgrade to a nicer pump for only $100 more" I hung up blocked them, and informed my ob office of their scam and they confirmed my suspicions, that this was not something they were involved with in any way and that any interaction with them would be ill advised. Please, do not fall for scams like this. Remember that prescription arrangements, insurance info, etc are always handled and organized by your Doctor office, and if there are ever any issues, the pharmacist will consult your dr, and your dr will consult you. Never, ever, would a professional, legit company, contact you out of the blue via text, try to contact you in lieu of your dr. office, or try to upsell a prescription (which is also illegal, especially when it comes to Medicaid and Medicare). It sickens me that there are companies out there like this that try and sometimes succeed to take advantage of pregnant women and others. The young lady at the reception desk were nice, but this guy Ron is the biggest jerk I ever had to deal with. Very unproffesional and rude. Definitely in the wrong business with the way he treats people. He sent me a text, NOT introducing himself first, but rather asking what type of insurance I have. I ended up having to call him, but he was even worst on the phone. I understand he has a business to run, but he forgets that he works in a client/customer based business, where the customer is the one "putting food on his table" I was already having a sad day and this as_hole tried to make it worst. I had placed an order but when I did not hear back from them I decided to call them. I spoke to Ron who was not only unprofessional but quite rude. He told me that they do not call people when orders are cancelled (but without a reasonable explanation). He basically talked as if he could care less about my order. My experience with this sham of a company was much like those of the previous two reviewers (and I also wish I could rate them 0 stars). My health insurance company gave me this company (among 2 others) as a suggestion on where to order a pump. I first went to their website, which was basically useless and provided no info, so I called the phone number. In response to my message, this guy named Ron both texted me and emailed me. After asking a few questions, which Ron answered as vaguely as possible, I received an email back from him saying "I will not answer any more questions until you call my cell." What the hell is up this guy's @ss?!? He's the one that emailed me in the first place, so you would think he would find email an acceptable form of communication! I'm sorry but I was under the impression that it was considered good customer service to answer a simple question. My question wasn't at all unreasonable. I agree with the other reviewers who mourn the fact that we cannot give a business zero stars. I used this company to order a breast pump, which is covered through my medical insurance. The abysmal customer service coupled with the ineffective billing procedure means that not only will it take double the amount of time to receive your equipment, it also means that they will hound you, an innocent victim, for payment that should be received through the insurance company. I found my person sales person, Ron, to be aggressive and absentminded. When he did remember to contact me it was only to ask for payment on a claim which he failed to file with the insurance company. Not only did I contact him on several occasions, but also the customer service representatives at both the medical group and medical insurance. He did not respond to them, deciding to circumvent the usual upstanding business practices and billing me directly. Way to go Ron, you have officially reached a new low as a salesperson. In the end don't waste your time, use a different medical supplier! read more

I hate dishonest suppliers/sellers. I paid for a $75 Medela upgrade assuming that it was for an as advertised Pump In Style Advanced tote (on their website), I was not told otherwise. As I received my package, I noticed it was small in size. Unfortunately, it ended up being only a Medela Pump In Style Starter Set, which does not include a tote, cooler bag, or additional accessories. I would never have paid $75 for this type of "upgrade". Disappointed, I wanted to return the item as it was never opened. I called to schedule my return, and had been working with Ron Real. I explained to him that I assumed that the upgrade was for the Medela Pump In Style Advanced tote as advertised on their website, I informed him that I was never told that it was for the starter set. He agreed to take the return, and informed me that there was a 20% restocking fee, but said he would waive the fee since I was not informed of the Medela breast pump type that I was expecting. I returned the unopened breast pump the next day via USPS priority mail, which was $13 btw. I immediately texted Ron the tracking #, and asked him to please refund me the $75 as agreed upon during our phone conversation. I did not receive any text or correspondence from Ron or anyone else from Advanced Home Medical, which was fine I was just patiently waiting for my refund. After two weeks, I still did not receive my refund or any status correspondence. I decided to call to check the status. I called three times on three different occasions, and no one was able to call me back, though the receptionist said she was indicating that my call was urgent. I texted Ron Real directly for my refund status. As I was following up on my insurance claims. I called my insurance and informed them of the situation, at this point they had already paid out the insurance portion to Advanced Home Medical. At that point, my insurance immediately called them to get their $95 payment back, and fought for them to pay me back by $75 portion. All of a sudden, once the insurance got involved, Ron Real texted me back. Indicating that they were going to pay the insurance back and refunding me back less the 20% restocking fee. I then reminded him that he told me that he was going to waive the restocking. He basically responded that now they were putting a lot of work dealing with my insurance so the 20% was going to remedy his work. I think he was just upset that the insurance company reached out and it was his means of revenge for involving my insurance. I mean you were supposedly going to go through the entire insurance refund process at some point, but he was going to waive the fee for me anyway. Keep in mind that he charged me the 20% restocking fee on the insurance payment of $95 and not the $75 I paid, which does not make sense to me. It was just another way to take more money from me. This shows how dishonest and untrustworthy Advanced Home Medical is in their business dealings with customers. read more
