Everything is streamlined in a portal making service calls, questions and inquiries, all very easy. Everything was dealt with in a timely fashion, service calls were answered the day of, and sometimes even performed the day of! In the past, I had dealt with private owners and it would take days to weeks to get things done... I truly believe that these guys work very hard as they are very busy, but still managed to find the time to help whenever I needed! I do not write reviews.EVER. But I thought that it would be nice to say something. Good about these hard-working people that made my life over the last nine years easier. Thank you, Monticello property management company. So when I found 37112 Palo Verde St, it could not have been a more perfect, despite some management problems. But what made this apartment a joy for me , was Saywitz employee Racheal Cravitz! Honestly, had it not been for Racheal acting outside of her actual job duties, I would not have gotten most of the maintenance requests taken care of. I wouldn't have been able to speak to someone who actually really cares and shows you that she cares in her actions. Racheal goes out of her way to try to make it as easy as possible, even in the way she allows and takes payment for each month, and not one time have I ever seen her lose her patience or her cool even when I would call frustrated. Again, many of the problems I would bring to Racheal were not part of her job duty or job description. Racheal never used that as an excuse to not help the residents. She would always listen and then say "James I will speak to the right people and you'll hear back from me soon with a solution." She kept her word and because of her, I even renewed my lease when my home was taking a little longer to be completed . Had it not been for Racheal, I would have not signed that second lease and would've just got a hotel or something until my home was done. It is my hope that the management and ownership of Saywitz reads this and realizes what a valuable asset. Racheal is to the company. Why not five stars? For the amount of money I was paying for a 500 square-foot studio, (it was called a one bedroom, but it was a studio with a dividing wall.) there should've been some upgrades to the kitchen appliances., and the bathroom desperately needed reconfiguration. My apartment had a tiny, small sink, smaller than what most Motel 6 properties have. As a son of a developer and as someone whose parents own many rental properties, my dad understood that if you're willing to invest just a little bit of money to put some lipstick on a property where it counts the most like the bathroom or the kitchen and the lighting, it goes a long way and making residents feel like they have something a little bit special and helps justify the cost of the rent. The only other reason I didn't give this property five stars is also because of the intrusive manner in which property management would come into your apartment with very little WARNING. I have a dog and I work 14 hours in the healthcare industry. Taping a letter to my door the night before they want to enter my apartment was just not an option for people who have a small dog that could run out when the door is open. However, I still give 37112 Palo Verde in Cathedral City 4 stars because overall, Saywitz provided a private gated, living environment, they took extra care to keep the landscaping up and even the lawn green in this crazy desert heat and that was impressive. Also, and this is very important, I have never lived in a small apartment like this where the walls were so sound proof! I could have my TV up loud as could be, and neither neighbor could hear my television. That's very rare when you live in an apartment. But mainly it was Racheal Cravitz who allowed me to stay. I remember when my blinds one by one broke and fell to the ground and I had to cover my windows with blankets because I couldn't get anyone to respond and replace my blinds. Racheal finally called, and again this was not part of her job responsibilities, and she connected me with one of their maintenance men, Jerry, who finally came out and fixed all my needs. Which by the way they need more people like Jerry working on their properties! You ask any tenant at this property and they will go on and on about how wonderful Jerry is. He is respectful smart, he knows what he is doing and he actually gets the job done unlike previous maintenance people that they have sent in the apartment before. This property in Cathedral city has so much promise. And it does offer an affordable option for people who want to live in the prime part of the valley, but don't have the money to rent in this area of town. Also, I appreciate that they make the rental process fairly easy and they don't charge crazy fees to move in. They are also pet friendly and don't charge ridiculous extra deposits for pets. The pet deposit is reasonable. Would I recommend this apartment? Absolutely. For the right person, this property could be a good fit for a lot of people. Especially the one and two bedrooms. In addition to my property, Saywitz also had a couple other rentals in the same area. Thank you to Racheal and Jerry and some nice neighbors who made my stay memorable !

The area is nice the apartments are clean and the people here are calm and what i would call "chill". I never stayed this long somewhere but aside from the apartments being nice and big the staff at Saywitz Properties are very helpful. When lease agreements are up they do a great job in communicating with you. Just today i talked to Diana Liston helped me come to a new lease agreement and ready to go for 1 more year. Maintenance needs are met and apartments are well maintained. When ever ive needed to talk to someone either about maintenance or anything lease bill related they have always been available and provide great tenant service. The 2 bedrooms were large, like 16x14 and 15x13 with plenty of closet space. The patio was enclosed with plenty of privacy. We had 2.5 bathrooms and they had new countertops, shower/tubs, and fixtures. The bottom floor had brand new tile throughout that made it easy to clean. Our unit had a washer dryer hookup inside the garage but there was a community one on the property as well just in case. Security: Initially the security situation was a little sketch. We had people walking through the property since it had an unlocked gate from the back to the front of the property. However they listened to the residents and added a security gate that cut down on that and made it feel much safer. They also had no issue with a video doorbell and security camera we temporarily put up over the garage. Parking: For every unit on the property there were 2 spots one outside and one garage except ours which were both inside the garage. All guest parking was on the street and it was usually not an issue. Maintenance: Any service calls we put in were handled quickly and with professionalism. No complaints here. Service: The entire nease team, Kelly and Casey specifically, were absolute gems to work with. They answered and questions we had, accommodated us when we needed it, and generally took care of us as both tenants and customers. I have rented from a couple of property management companies and I have to say nease has given us the best service yet. You can be confident that you will receive nothing but the best customer service if you choose nease. Conclusion: I recommend nease's properties without hesitation. They have come a long way and there is no doubt to me they listen to their tenants and care about your experience renting with them.

During my tenancy, I reported a serious plumbing issue in the guest bathroom that was not addressed…read morein a timely manner, eventually resulting in significant water damage, mold concerns, and full replacement of flooring, carpet, bathroom, and portions of walls. This issue also began affecting my health during that period. After remediation, I repeatedly requested mold testing documentation that was never provided, despite being told testing had been completed. After move-out, I disputed multiple charges, including pre-existing countertop damage documented prior to move-in, carpet charges, and a front door lock fee that I had been instructed to reinstall. After I provided evidence and challenged the deductions, many were not pursued, and the owners later returned a significant portion of my deposit. Overall, my experience included delayed repairs, lack of transparency, poor communication, and attempts to shift responsibility for property issues onto the tenant. Interactions with management were at times condescending and unprofessional. Prospective tenants should document everything, keep written communication, and maintain records throughout their lease. Kelly, this is a business--professionalism matters, and emotions should not be used to deflect accountability. UPDATE: After my original review, the property owners independently reviewed the situation and returned a significant portion of my deposit. That outcome speaks for itself once the facts were evaluated objectively. After being informed of the refund, I offered to revise or remove my review in good faith to move forward. Instead, I was accused of posting "hate speech" and of harassment for including the owners in emails using publicly available contact information. This is unreasonable. The owners had previously shown up unannounced and communicated directly during my tenancy, so open communication cannot be considered inappropriate only when it is inconvenient. To be clear, my review is not hate speech. It is a firsthand account of my experience with property management, including communication, handling of repairs, and professionalism. Criticism of conduct is not discrimination simply because it is unfavorable. Any implication that my review was directed at specific ground is NOT true. Faith-based conversations during my tenancy were mutually initiated. My concerns are strictly about treatment, communication, and management practices that do not reflect what is publicly portrayed by Kelly. I also take issue with the suggestion that the refund outcome was always the intended resolution. Before my tenant portal access was removed--shortly after I disputed charges--I saw substantial deductions being applied, which I formally challenged with documentation.

They provide extremely poor service towards the end of my lease and during/after the move-out process. Towards the end of my lease, they did not complete several repairs. I ended up having to leave multiple broken items in the unit, even though I submitted repair requests MONTHS before my move-out date. They mishandled my security deposit refund and kept OVER $2,000!!!! I emailed for months after moving out to dispute the refund amount and they kept pushing me off. They continued to say they would follow-up with me shortly. However, I ended up sending about 5-10 email follow ups only to keep hearing that they would 'handle it shortly'. It never got resolved which shows how full of sh** they are, how they provide empty promises and how little they care about people after they are no longer benefitting from them. G.P.M. and the unit owner wrongfully charged me for several repairs without proper back-up documentation. In the middle of my 12 month lease, I submitted all of the proper paperwork to add an assistance animal to my lease. I continued to ask when my lease would be updated to include the animals, they never EVER got around to doing it during the remaining 6 months of my lease. Doing this is a FAILURE to provide reasonable accommodation to people with disabilities under the Federal Fair Housing Act. (I've reported them and an investigation is underway)

My experience at 524 W Greenwood Ave has been some of the most unnecessarily stressful of my 50 + years as a renter. I was a homeowner a few times during this time also I am very aware of the responsibilities of an owner and as a renter. Roberts client, and defacto mother/tenant have made it nearly impossible for Robert to have managed my tenancy properly. I want to believe, given the appropriate opportunity, I would have experienced a more favorable outcome. Robert, to my knowledge, has not been directly involved in the nefarious actions of his clients. The turning off of my heat and hot water on several occasions in the past month. The hiding of my trash cans. The theft of my mail and subsequent use of my bankcard by a family member. The constant harassment, verbal assaults, physical threats and finally lying regarding my exclusive use of a patio and then in retaliation, excluding it as a punishment. I believe Robert was acting in good faith regarding his client. However I have and continue to suffer greatly at the hands of his client. I can only close my eyes, click my heels together 3 times and repeat, "there's no place like home," and hope a house falls on top of his client. When I open my eyes I will be transported to the home of my dreams, on 3/2/2026, far, far away from this scary horrible place. I will pray for the next tenant!

I've had an extremely frustrating experience with the management office at this apartment complex…read moredue to repeated incompetence and lack of accountability. I moved in back in November, and from the very beginning I was having issues with my mailbox not working. For nearly two months, I went back and forth with the office trying to get it resolved. I was repeatedly told they would "fix it," and each time nothing changed. After getting nowhere with management, I finally had to go directly to the post office myself to figure out what was going on. That's when it was discovered that the office had written the WRONG mailbox number on my lease agreement from the start. Even worse, after realizing their mistake, the leasing office never updated my paperwork or provided anything in writing with the correct mailbox number -- I was apparently just expected to remember the correct number verbally despite their original error. Instead of checking their own paperwork earlier, they kept making me deal with the issue and wasting my time for months over a problem they created themselves. On top of that, I'm now dealing with a carport that is covered in spider webs and black widows. When I brought up the safety concern and asked for it to be cleaned, management told me it was somehow my responsibility to clean the spider webs off property that they own and are supposed to maintain. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Overall, management has been disorganized, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility for problems they created. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before moving here.
