Mike and Sarah with Advanced Plumbing are simply the best!! I was recently having water pressure issues at my house and was sure that it was the pressure relief valve that was faulty, since my house is 13 years old and my neighbor had just recently replaced theirs. Mike came out and determined that the valve was indeed faulty and quickly replaced it and at a reasonable price. The water pressure was better, but still wasn't really the way it should be. This is where Advanced Plumbing really shined. Mike came back out and took his time to correctly diagnose that the pressure issues that I was still having were all due to my water softener system having some kind of a internal issue. He bypassed the softener to be sure and immediately the water pressure was fixed. He all of this all at no extra cost to me, which is really amazing, especially since he knew I still had a warranty on the water softener and thus wouldn't get any more business out of this job if it was indeed the water softener that was faulty. I got the water softener fixed a few days later and everything is back to normal. Mike and Sarah showed outstanding customer service and just as important, got the problem figured out in a timely manner and at a great price. Friendly on the phone, BUT HORRIBLE IN PERSON. Mike came over to look at a water heater issue I was having last week. I paid a fee for him to come out because everyone else seemed to be booked. I just wanted it fixed as soon as possible. Mike was very annoyed that he needed to use a ladder to access the water heater even though I told him it was on the second floor over the phone. He was mumbling under his breath and upset he needed to do that. He told me that I would need to replace the entire water heater and would call me with quotes because he had to get to the next place. Never called me back. Since then, I called another plumbing service and they fixed the water heater for $180 in about 30 minutes. Stay away. read more

I called them today for a quote on a job. They said that they charge $40.00 because it pre-qualifies a potential client. Anyone that is not willing to commit to a minor assessment fee, is most likely going to waste their time. When I said that other plumbers do not charge the assessment fee. They said that my unwillingness to pay the assessment fee is a huge red flag to them. This has been my experience. read more

They were prompt and direct so I like that but I was told promptly and directly that they do not offer any troubleshooting or repair options for water heaters that are out of warranty. This system was not leaking, had an electrical issue and they do not offer a service to even look it over to replace thermastats or heater coils. Mike, thank you bro :) My water heater failed (at the worst possible moment hahaha) and he quickly came to diagnose the problem and in less than 40 minutes from my initial phone call, he already had a new water heater at my house quickly. He came because he takes jobs from select home warranty. Select Warranty did not cover breaks in the water heater (that is ridiculous, whats the point ??). In an hour he already had my old unit out and was installing the new intake lines in an instant. The whole installation took less than 4 hours. He is very knowledgeable and I feel that I could trust him. He explained to me all the questions that I have about plumbing on the spot. He is personable, friendly and professional and I appreciate that. He got me out of that bind quickly. The price was a steep for a water heater install (I realized that later, he did the job short notice i suppose it is worth the up charge to a certain extent) but he was prepared, thorough and the work looks solid. He gave me several options and fielded all my questions. His work is guaranteed for 2 years. I did not do my due diligence because of time constraints. These guys are the nicest, most professional plumbers I've ever worked with. Professional on the phone, punctual. Love their communication. This would be a five star rating except for the price. I paid $300 for them to clear 2 slow draining sinks of hair clogs. They arrived at my home at 10:00 and were gone just before 10:40. The actual work took less than 10 minutes. In their defense, they showed me the price and I agreed to it, but that was before we knew how easy this job would end up being. I assumed it was a much bigger problem. Based on their stellar reviews I would have expected them to discount the work more after we learned how easy the repair was to complete. I appreciate and respect that this is a small business and they need everything they can get to succeed, but I do feel that I was overcharged for the amount of work that was performed. I am not sure if I will use them in the future or not, but that's solely based on price. I would rate them 5 for service and 2 for price. We needed to run a gas line for our laundry room so we could install a gas dryer. Luckily enough, we found Mike. He was more than patient and helpful throughout the entire process. Charged $469 for 1 hour repairing a toilet. Got upset when I complained about the price. Seems like these guys have nothing but poor reviews recently. I had to them install a water heater because mine broke and I was showering in the cold. Guy came over with a dog and installed it but wouldn't really talk to me, very passive aggressive when I asked questions. I offered some water because it was hot down there, it's my "boiler room". No AC. He ran out of my house without telling me he was finished or showing me that the hot water was back. At the time, I honestly was only focused on the sensual sensation that a hot shower could bring me so I didn't push the subject or call...nope, no hot water for me that night. No sweet release of a steamy session. There was no hot water. I wrote a post on Facebook and someone commented that there has been many stolen water heaters in the area. I couldn't believe it. I ran to the boiler room and searched all around the water heater and realized it wasn't new AT ALL! There were dents and mold on the front panel. I called the man and couldn't get through. For hours I tried to get someone on the phone. Nothing. Not only was I scammed with an old water heater but I also didn't get any hot water. read more

Mike from Advanced Plumbing was wonderful. He came out and assessed the problem we'd been having in our master shower. For years, the faucet had been wiggly and the water pressure was so low we could hardly rinse off. Mike repaired this problem efficiently and skillfully. He was professional, friendly and courteous. The cost was reasonable and included a new faucet and valve for our shower. He needed to access the plumbing through a panel he created but he cleaned up after himself very thoroughly. They sent out Mike, who was very considerate in our home and took the time to talk us through our options and process before replacing our shorted out water heater. He went out of his way to find the largest capacity tank possible that would fit into a tight space (at our request).
