Showed me where the generator would be and what would need to modified. The generator was dropped off, but it was not put in the place where I was told it would be. I was promised pictures now going on two weeks of another client's house to show me how it would look where I wanted it. Still waiting for the pictures. Promised again two days ago but still not here. Seems like the kind of person who tells you what you want to hear when you want to hear it and does whatever once the conversation is over. Not worth the hassle. You're better off going to a different generator installation service. If anybody's in need of a Kohler generator at a good price, let me know. Update May 16, 2026 Some communication issues but Frank set things right. He had me look at a property with the generator orientated the direction I wanted, changed mine the same way and completed the project per the agreement in the contract. I received a thorough run through of how the generator works, service info and the warranty. After the initial delay, the project was completed in a very professional manner.

Reached out another couple days later and asked if he can do the job or if I should keep looking, he wanted my address which I gave, then never heard anything again. Really frustrating, especially since I've tried 10 companies from the Kohler site for generator repair/maintenance and could only get 1 to commit to coming out and they wanted an upfront payment to even look. Had Brian and his son come in and rewire a ceiling fan, add some neutral wires and wire up some…read moresmart switches and switch out some breakers. These items were great and went well. Then we had him "assess" why a whole house fan kept stopping. He determined it needed to be replaced and put a new one in. New one had the same problem, he came back and replaced the switch. Seemed to be fine until this summer. Come to find out that even though we requested the variable speed switch be left on, that he put in a two-speed fan with the variable switch, a no no which can burn out the motor if the switch is set to anything but full power (defeating the purpose of the switch). Now I question if the old fan was truly bad, and I have a fan that's only partially functional. Not sure if this was outside of his expertise and should have been done by someone else, but I'm not sure what to do with it now. He also took the two speed switch that actually came with the fan with him which probably ended up in the trash...
