I had to point to the dirty/used paper on the eval bench. My doctor wrote a lengthy referral to Dr. Hua and he never read it. Instead, he forced me to go over my history for which the message really lost. Even though I told Dr. Hua my thoracic was greatly affected, he did not look at the thoracic MRI. The dude actually said "do you want me to look at it?" or "do you want me to read your doctor notes?" Dr. Hua's eval was PATHETIC. A simple google search proved his comments wrong. This shows he has limited knowledge on what the neck actually does in the whole scheme of the body. This was the extremely scary part. Also, his findings were the complete opposite of what another spine surgeon found. This office seems to be focused on workers comp cases and you will get treated like a workers comp patient with all the frustrations, rudeness, and incompetent service you would expect.

Despite my QME stating my injury was indeed work related, they still denied all my treatment including a recommendation by the work comp neurosurgeon for surgery. Work comp also denied my appeal. As of date, work comp still has not approved my surgery. I've been in so much pain for the past 16 months and my quality of life greatly diminished. I developed atrophy on my left side of my body and left arm. I read reviews of Dr B. There were nothing but glowing reviews. I met with him in n Sept 2025 and he went over my MRIs and symptoms. He was GREAT! Dr B explained the "why's" of my ailments and provided me with options to remedy my injury. After a very thorough informative consult, I decided to skip work comp and go through my personal doctor. I chose to have a spinal decompression and 3 level anterior cervical fusion. A few days later, Dr Bs office called and scheduled my surgery. They were very responsive and provided detailed pre and post-surgery recommendations. The day of the surgery, I went to Good Sam. I remember being rolled into the surgery room and waking up in recovery. Immediately, I had sensation in my left hand again. It's been 3 weeks post surgery and I'm feeling great.
