    Dishonest and Unprofessional from Start to Finish!…read more My experience with Auto House Tempe was extremely disappointing and frustrating from beginning to end. I encountered misleading advertising, pressure tactics, and a complete lack of professionalism from the salesman (Grant), the manager, and the finance department manager. The vehicle was advertised on Cars.com at a low price, but once I arrived, I was told that price only applied if you had a trade-in and financed through them. They claimed Cars.com is a third-party provider and that they "couldn't include the fine print." That alone felt deceptive. On top of that, they added $1,700 in mandatory upgrades that were not disclosed in the advertised price. These upgrades were not optional--you had to pay them, which significantly changed the real cost of the car. During my first visit, they pressured me to sign a deal based solely on a monthly payment. I was very clear that I wanted to negotiate based on the advertised price, not a payment. After a lot of back-and-forth, we finally reached numbers I was comfortable with. When I returned for the second visit, they demanded a deposit before providing full, detailed paperwork. I have never purchased a car where I was asked for a deposit before reviewing the complete deal--this was a huge red flag. They also required signing an "as-is" agreement. I asked reasonable questions: * What happens if I drive off the lot and the car turns out to be a lemon? * Is there an inspection report? * Is there any base warranty? The manager assured me yes and promised to email the inspection report and warranty details the next day. It has now been five days, and I've received nothing. I also texted the salesperson and got no response. I recently moved here from California, and I can confidently say this type of business practice would never fly there. I'm shocked this dealership is still operating the way it does. Buyers should be extremely cautious. Do yourself a favor and do not go to Auto House Tempe.

I am not someone who gives positive reviews to someone who I think has ripped me off. This is my 3rd car purchased @ autohouse. I will go back for my 4th car. Its all about Loyalty. He found a Camaro at https://www.phxautocollection.com/ and called to check availability. Giovanni said it was available so we went to do a test drive. When we arrived Giovanni let my grandson start it but the front seat was not bolted down and wires were hanging down from the dash - so no road test but my grandson really liked the car so I (stupidly) put down $1200 to hold the car while the repairs were being made and getting my loan squared away. Unfortunately, no lender wanted to give me an acceptable loan due to over market price, age of the car and high mileage. Phoenix Auto Collection refused to lower the price to market value and after 4 days waiting for the repairs - I cancelled my offer and requested my $1200 back. Giovanni said no problem but since he could not reverse the charge on my credit card (due to financial manager not available) that I would have to dispute the charge through the credit card company which I did, and a provisional credit was issued. 30 days later Phoenix Auto Collection get the $1200 back because they showed my credit card company a receipt that I signed indicating NO REFUND - even though the actual purchase contract I signed had a cancellation clause with a full refund that is standard in the Auto Industry. Finally, after days for going round and round with the credit card company and Phoenix Auto Collection - they refused to do the honorable thing and return my $1200. We never got to test drive the car (or take possession of it), we were not able to get a reasonable loan and it cost me $1200 to learn a lesson about Phoenix Auto Collection LLC.

However, I didn't experience any of that here at a "A lot of cars". First, I never felt hassled. I found the car I liked through my banking app that uses truecar car buying app which automatically sent my contact info to the owner when I clicked to see the exact pricing. The owner called and I told him I'm just browsing. That was not a problem, he was quick to offer a text with the car info and that he would leave me be and to reach out to him if I wanted to look at the car or any others. I really appreciated that, especially after getting harassed by other dealerships that will continue to call and text you. Second, we showed up and were treated like VIPs, we were quickly able to checkout the vehicle we wanted and it was completely detailed and ready to go. We got to test drive it where ever in the area to ensure we got to see the handling of it. Third, the vehicle condition! I was a little concerned with the miles as I usually never purchase a vehicle With over a 100k but you could tell they took the time to ensure the car was looked over, lots of new parts, and it drove and still runs flawlessly. Fourth, the trade in and payment process was so easy and streamlined. Worked with the owner from start to finish and it took us about 45 mins tops! Part of it was my fault with recently getting married and half of my information I had changed my name but the other half didn't. It led to some confusion. Bonus! the website is kept up to date. When I showed up the car I wanted was there and every vehicle online was there. At the end of the day I was happy with the process and have even referred family.

Jeff however, had a line on another vehicle that would be coming in with low miles. I was very interested and asked that he contact me with the details when available. As promised, this car was in fantastic shape, had all the car fax information and was at a very fair price. I do not personally care for negotiating over a price so this was important to me. I have purchased my fair share of cars in my day. This was a top notch transaction. They are very professional and perform with integrity. The battery warranty was a life saver. While the car has low miles, it's 12 years old. I suppose it is fair to expect those old batteries to wear down. After about 6000 miles, they fixed/replaced the battery with no hassles! I've been driving my sons future car to save on gas. When I turn it over to him, I see another Prius from All Price Auto in my future.

We could get the car. Can you say SCAM.... SO.... THE NEXT DAY.... They tried to get me to still take the vehicle after wasting my time and money... Ummmm nope... I don't think so. So I asked them for just a letter for the insurance company advising we didn't get the vehicle. The MANAGER DANA.... Started yelling at me and refused to provide proof we didn't get the vehicle. Compression problems in the engine in the first week. Service wouldn't even talk about it unless I had the gold standard warranty, even though we were still in the 15 day sales warranty. He said he wanted to get it right, come in Monday at 830 as planned to get it all fixed. I arrived at 833. Service asked if I had an appointment, yes. Now they want to diagnose the problem they've already seen twice. Reeves doesn't show up until 11, catches an attitude because I sent him an email saying it was crazy work for me to be here to fix this as advised and he isn't here. He said Ay, our hours are posted. I'm on time. After his response I went on yelp....omg... the reviews!!! How many people they've done this to!!!...I told Reeves I'm in trouble here huh? He asked what i meant and I told him...the reviieeeewwsss... he said it's not his fault, in his words, their service department sucks, service sold me a bad car, not him and I could get out because I wasn't going to give him a bad day just because I was having one. He literally said have fun waiting for service to fix it, you're not getting any help now. I didn't get out. He told me to wait outside. I waited right there in the office... I'm waiting as i write this review, sitting in the sales office being utterly ignored by the sales manager... waiting for parts that should have already been here since they knew the problem wasn't fixed and I'd return for service soon. I've been here for almost 5 hours and the car is still on the lift. When the service department sucks so bad that the sales manager tells you they suck instead of being accountable for selling you a terrible car... you know you're in trouble.

The women's bathroom was covered in used paper towels, including the changing table so I had to have my husband change my daughter in the men's bathroom. The kid's play area was incredibly filthy and there was a vacuum with a loose cord tucked into a corner of the kid's area. When I asked if I could have somewhere to nurse my daughter I was responded with confusion from the man we bought our car from, and not even consideration to provide us a place to nurse her out of the public space, or the thought to ask a woman that might work there for me. Our salesman otherwise was fine, but not personable at all for someone in sales. When we looked at our Grand Highlander the first time it was covered in stains, crackers and had been sitting there for a couple months. They agreed that they would detail the car. It took them 5 days to fix a broken mirror it had (I'm assuming they had to order the part which is fine) but they still hadn't detailed it when my husband arrived to pick it up. So we had to wait longer, then it still had stains and visible sand, dog hair and crackers. The man we bought it from sent it back, then my husband had to send it back AGAIN to be serviced. We finally just decided to take it home after making them redo the detail multiple times. After my husband got home, we got a call from someone saying they saw we had a "RAV4 serviced there for $600 that day" and we respond no? We had our grand Highlander detailed for free. And we were asked, "Oh! Are you guys in the market for a new one?" This place obviously does not have any organizational skills. My husband left a review and was responded from the woman that typically replies (maybe customer service relations) with her "please contact me!" He reaches out her after she left a number and she never answered after the phone line dies, so he leaves her an email and he was never responded to. We like our Toyota we bought just fine, but this dealer is absolutely disgusting and needs to get their act together. I don't normally leave negative reviews but this place really deserves it.
