When you have an active toddler, you're home all day with him, and you need somewhere to go where he can play without needing constant supervision AND there's AC? Adventureplex it is! I had heard about their Toddler Town area for months, but only started checking it out earlier this month. I have a 19 month old and I'd say Toddler Town is a good area for babies once they're walking up to 4-5 years old. You and your child have to wear socks, and all the staff wear hospital covers over their shoes when they pass through Toddler Town to help keep it clean. That being said, I'm not sure how often the toys and things get wiped down, but the area is pretty clean and they have a staff member at all times who basically cleans up the mess that all the kids make so the place is never too crazy. My kid loves pushing the shopping carts around and shopping for fruits and veggies, riding their various push toys, and playing in their play kitchen area. It's not the biggest play space, but they have a nice reading area downstairs too, with some puzzles and large blocks. It's $12 for 2 hours, and I've been here 3x now so I just signed up for the monthly membership. It's $27/month and you can come unlimited times, as well as before the place opens to the public so it's a pretty good deal if you come at least twice a month. Sometimes when there are kids on the older end of the age range, they run around and are a little crazy for the younger toddlers to handle, and the parents don't keep them in check. I wish the staff member asked those kids to slow down or not run, but then again, the staff member looks like they're in high school and doesn't really give a crap, so whatevs. My little guy has learned to steer clear of the older kids anyway! read more

I was pleasantly surprised with our experience here. I came for a church outing, so we enjoyed the "Team-Building" ropes course. The course consisted of a net climb, plank walk, tight-rope walk, and then a short "zipline" (not much so). You're harnessed the entire course, but it still takes considerable effort to stay on. I noticed the rock climbing wall as well, and wished we could've done that! The workers were very friendly and definitely took their time to ensure that none of the women who were afraid of heights became weary. The group rates are definitely very affordable, ranging from $20-$50 a person, and include a private room that has a tv and dvd player. I'm not sure if the food was included in the group rates, but it was surprising delicious. ABSOLUTE MUST TRY: Their freshly baked cookies. And yes, they are freshly baked! Even though Adventureplex caters mainly to children, it was definitely appropriate for adults as well. The women at our outing enjoyed it tremendously. My only complaint was the bathrooms... I guess that's what happens when there's so many kids running around! read more

Adventureplex is a child's wildest dream come true. A place where they can run wild for hours and a parent can sit back and let them burn off all that energy that usually keeps us busy and drives us crazy all day long. They have a huge play area that is split into sections, a small area for toddlers 3 and younger and a massive area for the bigger kids that includes slides, rope swings, ball pits, and is about three stories high. There is also a book reading area and other activities for the more calm and more risk averse children out there. The the teens there are basketball courts, a rock climbing area a recreation area outside. The latter of which I don't believe is part of adventureplex I've noticed some parents speaking about their concern about their kids getting injured or the risk of bigger kids in the play areas, I did see this happening in regard to bigger kids in the play area. I don't feel it is any different than other play areas though. I put this responsibility on the parents and teaching their kids that they should watch out for smaller children first, and Adventureplex second. One improvement would be if they had a decent food/snack and drink selection for not only children but also for parents. This would likely get the additional star from me. My son loved it here and didn't want to leave. I'm sure we will be back in the near future read more

This is such a cute place! Kept my kids happy for two hours until I had to make them put their shoes back on. We played a little downstairs and then went up stairs to Toddler town. it gets pretty crowded, I've never seen that many little kids in one area ever, lol. The only reason why I gave it four stars was when I went upstairs to Toddler town, I was hit with the smell of dirty diapers. It was bad. After a while, you eventually adapt to the smell but I really hope they do something about that. read more

I purchased the rock climbing and ropes course off of groupon for my boyfriend's 10 year old daughter. For only $8 bucks, it was amazing and she absolutely loved it. What I enjoyed most was that she got to do the activity with other children and she was able to climb the wall as many times as she liked. Great value! The course instructors, Jordan and David (I think) were so awesome! They encouraged the kids to be adventurous and gave great instructions. There are a few benches for you to sit on while you watch your child climb or you can actually walk the course just below them. The only thing that I didn't like about our experience at the AdventurePlex was the check-in process. The front desk is being ran by children who aren't very organized. I found the whole process of checking in to be chaotic and confusing for customers and the employees alike. Overall, our little one had a great time and we had fun watching her. I am thinking about going back to do the ropes course with my boyfriend :) read more

The drop in fee is really affordable for kids under 3. You can access all the playzones including the basketball court for about 2 hours per visit. Parents are free to come in too. I would have rated it higher except that I didn't like how the small toddler play area is not well monitored by staff. The big kids will come running through knocking other smaller kids down and the staff just watches. I've seen them attempt to get the big kids out, but then after a while they just give up and watch it happen. The facilities feel clean and it's nice wide open spaces. I think that the birthday parties are popular here but when I checked out the pricing, it looked pretty high to me per child or maybe it's a standard and I'm just not aware. read more

This is only for the play area as we haven't tried anything else. My son is five and it's hard keeping him entertained. Tired of all the different parks, I decided to check this place out. I didn't know what to expect, but the first time I went was on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. It was nice and clean and decided to buy the three month membership then ($54 for three months). Best money spent ever! It's usually $10 for two hours of play, but this way I can go and not feel obligated to stay the entire time. There can be times when it gets overwhelming with the people and my son starts acting up, so I can leave without feeling like I wasted any money. There's a library section that the kids can access along with play and a basketball court they can use if there isn't a class going on. There's a food court, but we never bought anything. It's a little pricey, but convenient. The staff is friendly and know my son. His communication skills aren't that good and they are very understanding. He once hurt his hand (nothing serious, no blood or anything) and a member offered to get him a band aid to stop his crying. It was so nice and I really do hope the membership goes on past December. Even if the price goes up, I think it's so worth it! The structure is very clean. Once a little boy had an accident and the staff jumped in and sectioned off that part of the structure to clean. It was almost closing time anyways, so we just left. They close it for a whole day sometimes just to clean it and I think it's great! read more

This is a little pricey without the Groupon, but with the voucher we had a fun hour. At first I was a little nervous, because I didn't realize it is a kid-oriented facility. I thought we might be out of place amongst the little ones. Yes, we were the only two adults for quite some time, but I still had fun regardless. We started with the rock wall, and I got a bit tired, let me tell you. My forearms started burning, and I developed some callouses on my hands in just the short time on the wall. I wasn't able to defeat the "hard" part of the course, so it wasn't overly easy, even with the kid focus. The ropes course was equally fun. I seriously want to bring my mom back to try it, because I think that would be utterly hilarious, but I don't really want to shell out thirty bucks for the two of us just for that. I used to like this place. At $12 a kid (we have 4) it gets steap but they generally have fun and they provide good options for toddlers. My biggest gripe is they have an Adventure Camp running at the same time (weekday) and they sent 25 (I counted) big kids into the play structure with 1 staff who didn't supervise them. I don't blame the staff. She tended to the younger ones (maybe 6 and below) while the older kids (8-12) dominated the upper play area where the rope swing and glider are. They were super rowdy and because they were big, it was more difficult for smaller kids to play. Also, because the were a group, this might feel like a stretch, but a bit of a crowd / group mentality which made it hard for other kids to get their turn. The staff worker could only interface with those on the bottom and was often unaware of the dynamics up top. This might seem petty but consider that parents are here to monitor their own children. We're keeping an eye on them and coaching our kids to play well (that's a 1-1 or 1-2 ratio), while the camp has a 1-25 ratio and there isn't supervision for helping these kids to play well. This made it a mediocre experience. read more

This review is strictly for the day camps they offer: I do NOT recommend for younger children. I dropped off my 5 yr old daughter at 8:30 am, and there was no supervision in the play area. Both staff were at the front, no one keeping an eye on the 10+ children in the play area. The smaller children get pushed and shoved by the older ones making it unsafe. I paid for 2 days, but after the first day my daughter would not go back. She had a horrible experience at winter camp, not only did i waste $120, but had to take time off work. I emailed them voicing my concerns, no one bothered responding. Leading me to believe this is just how this establishment is run: with negligence and to only make a buck. read more

The facilities are pretty cool here, there is a great play structure for 3-7 year olds with multiple levels and a toddler play area with a play grocery store my daughter liked. They don't allow outside food and don't serve their own, which is annoying. Today the staff wasn't at the front desk when I arrived, and misled my daughter and I about the opening time until after we bought our ticket. Then we had to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes. If I had known about this we would have gone to a park. Took 30 minutes to get in, with a mildly rude staff experience. Other visits have been better. read more

Came to AdventurePlex as part of a Father-Daughter group (Adventure Guides) to enjoy the Ropes Course and Rock Climbing. We were a group of 17, and we all had a complete blast! For only $20, we spent more than 90 minutes, broken into two groups, enjoying an exciting ropes course, and then sampling several different difficulty levels of climbing walls. The girls (ages 7-8) loved it, and the Dads all had great fun as well. The entire facility is clean, well organized and full of great activities. The staff was engaging, helpful, and patient with the kids. They did a great job demonstrating how to tackle the ropes course and the rock wall. We look forward to going back! Great outdoor fun for my 12 & 10yr old sons and I! We did the rope lines and the rock climbing. The girl at the front desk told me to look on "Groupon" because they were running a special! Saved 40% on each ticket! Only $12 instead of $20 to do both rope lines and rock climbing, I would have given it a solid 5stars had the rope lines been a little more challenging and scary. My boys are daredevils and could have been challenged more! The rock climbing was fun! 5 walls to climb. The boys skipped the first (beginners) and completed 2 & 3. My 10yr old climbed like a spider monkey and completed 4, however he met his match on the 5th and most difficult. My 12yr old completed 3/4s of the 4th and also struggled with the 5th. I was able to breeze through 2-4 and hit a road block 3/4s up #5. A great family bonding experience. We completed all of this in about 1.5hrs. Take water because the rock climbing is difficult. They were not busy on Sunday so they allowed us to try 4 & 5 a few times each! Be ready for some sore forearms!!! read more

****This review is for the ziplining and rock climbing experience**** We had a 10am reservation on a Sunday morning. We arrived at 10am, checked in, and the experience started at 10:10 am. There were about 20 people in the group. During the first 25 minutes or so 2 staff members provided us with helmets, ropes, and harnesses. We started with the ziplining experience. To get up to the lines, you climb a couple of nets to the top of the deck. There are 5 zipline obstacles. In the first one you walk across planks, similar to a bridge. However, the catch is that there are planks missing. In the second one you walk across a metal tight rope in the form of an x. While this one was more challenging than the bridge with missing planks, you can hold on to ropes while you walk across. In the 3rd zipline experience, there are 2 metal tightropes. You can walk across one or both. In the 4th zipline experience you walk along one metal tightrope. Along the path there are a couple of vertical wood planks. In the final zipline experience, 2 people sit on a piece of wood--similar to a swing--and you gently glide to the floor. After everyone in the group completed this experience, we went rock climbing. There were 2 harnessess for the easy rock climb and one for the hard rock climb. The total experience lasted 2 hours. Overall, we enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly, attentive and always made sure everyone was safe at all times. The obstacles were challenging and fun at the same time. The reason I gave the experience 3 stars is that it was severly understaffed. For a group of 20 you need a minimum of 3 staff (we only had 2). Having more staff would have decreased the time to set up (putting on harnesses, attaching ropes, putting on helmets) AND we could have avoided the 25 minute wait time to mountain climb. Plus, there should be a staff person ahead of the group to test each zipline experience and receive patrons as they cross each zipline. ×××××TIPS×××× 1. Check groupon for discounts. We purchased the zipline/rick climbing experience for half the regualar price via groupon. 2. Make a reservation! You can't show up to Adventureplex and do this experience without a reservation! 3. Wear comfortable tennis shoes with grip. 4. Wear comfortable, snug clothing. No loose pants, shirts. 5. If you have long hair, tie it in a ponytail or braid. 6. Wear a flip belt or fanny pack to hold your phone. There are neat picture opportunities you won't want to miss. Having your phone close to you will allow you to capture memories of this fun experience. read more

Toddler area wreaked of urine. Toys looked filthy. Two naughty girls spit into the toddler area from the bigger kid gym right above and landed on my head and shoulder. It was vile. My tot seemed to have enjoyed herself but I would've left a lot sooner if I wasn't trying to keep my two older nieces from boredom. The place can get super crowded. I attended a birthday party there for a 5 year old child. The first hour was all play so we got to go to the plex arena. There were chairs and tables to the right of the arena for the parents to sit while the children play. There was a tiny toddler area for children under the age of 3. There were a few workers there that made sure no child over 3 got in which protected the little ones. I got kicked out because I unfortunately didn't have socks on. The second hour they called the child's name and asked all the attendees to go into the private party room. There we had fresh brothers pizza, salad, Starbucks coffee and water. I believe you can't bring your own food into the place. Everything was great but the place couldn't handle that many kids in it hence the 3 stars. read more

We went there on the open house day and my toddler had lots of fun. Place was clean and nice but towards mid-morning it got very crowded with older kids running like crazy on the structure - not being very careful about younger kids. I get it they want to sell as many entrances as possible but I saw many not-so-happy parents. Maybe a time slot where the structure is accessible only to older kids would be better. Other than that it was great. My daughter enjoyed the climbing structure, the inflatable slide and the toddler room - even if time was limited. We will definetely be back at some point. read more

AdventurePlex was a life saver today for my VERY active toddler. The space was great for a two year old to run around, while providing her grandmother a space to sit. My daughter had a great time running up stairs, dominating the climbing area and running around the market area. It was a warm day and I appreciated the climate controlled facility. Not too cool and not too warm. Just right. The facility is exceptionally clean. I was quite surprised as I have been to many grubby children's gyms. This place is just the best for kids and.. ME! But seriously, it was a lot of fun. I wasn't really keen on these play spaces until I came to Adventureplex, it opened my eyes to a whole new world. I was here couple weekends ago for a birthday party and everyone had a blast. My daughter who is 15 months thoroughly enjoyed herself. We started in the ball pits and eventually graduated to climbing the jungle gym and 2+ hours later, she still didn't want to leave. I'm not sure if adults are allowed to be inside the jungle gym, but we were and it was SO MUCH FUN! Make sure you bring socks for your LO's and yourself so you can join in the fun, too! If not, I think they sell you some. We're invited to another party here next month so I can't wait to check out the other areas. I'll take my daughter to Toddler town fo sho! read more

Came here with my family and had a great time. I was worried that this would be too kiddie of an experience for the group of mostly adults and mid/late teens. I was sure my nephew who's 7 would have a blast, and he did, but the rest of us enjoyed ourselves as well. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Facilities were clean and well maintained. We were here for the rope course and rock climbing and both activities turned out to be a lot of fun. And dare I say, challenging. If you're an experienced climber there's routes to take up the wall to make it more challenging for you. Hats off to Sergio and Greg who were our amazing outdoorsmen. They were such fun guys and made our group's experience all the more enjoyable. Everyone was smiling and kind but I feel this two definitely go above and beyond to make guest feel welcome. Toddler Town Review Only Clean but gets crowded. Toddler Town (0-5 year old only) opens at 3:30pm, I would recommend arriving early as it tends to get crowded. Keep in mind you have parents running around their toddlers so it will get crowded and the play area isn't that large. They have a play kitchen, grocery store with play shopping carts and ball pit. There are no slides, or push car toys which is to be expected since there isn't much space. Overall, the place was clean, well managed but just a little boring. read more

My kids enjoy coming to this indoor playground. There are 2 floors. The first floor has a gym and a large play structure. The second floor has a playroom with a kitchen , grocery store, farm, and more. My 3 year old loves the second floor while my 6 year old loves the first floor. So, there's something to love for different age groups. Sometimes it does get crowded here which makes play time not as fun and a bit more stressful. But, when I luck out and it's not as crowded, this is definitely a great place to play indoors on a rainy day. read more

Sent my kids to parents night out and was told by my 10 year old that they starved the kids. The caretakers ate all the pizzas (4-5 pieces each) and the kids were only allowed 2 tiny pieces each. Not sure how that would fill up any child as even my 4 year old who barely eats said that he was starving after coming out of parents night out at 9pm. Also concerned what type of caretakers would hog all the pizza when there are clearly hungry children wanting more? read more

It can get a little bit loud, so if you have a younger one that can get spooked and cries a bit easily, you may not be able to hear them so well.
