Little hole in the wall near the hard rock casino. Had some typical bar food on the menu combined with seafood. Was pretty busy while we were there. We started with the fried artichoke hearts. They were incredible. Never would have thought to pair them with honey mustard but it was a good combination. Then we split the boiled shrimp. They do not boil any of it with seasoning, so honestly it was pretty bland. The dipping sauce and cocktail sauce saved it the shrimp but there was no saving the potatoes. Dropped by on a Friday night around 7pm and it was fairly crowded with people enjoying drinks and having a good time. The establishment is a great environment for groups, friends, and family. The place is a pub style restaurant that has a extensive menu ranging from seafood platters, burgers, oysters and many more great options to choose from. We were seated right away and our server who was great got our drinks ready and started us off with our appetizers. After looking throughout the menu and seeing all the great choices we made up our mind and went ahead with the fried, calamari, chicken sticks, "Ultimate" Po-boy, and a dozen of the chargrilled trio oysters which was 4 oysters of New Orleans style BBQ, Artichoke and bacon, and regular chargrilled. Under 15 minutes of waiting our food had finally arrived. Our fried calamari came out first and it was a beautiful as could be! The breading was a perfection ratio to meat and wow I cant talk about how good the marinara sauce was. I squeezed a lemon and drizzled it over and dipped away! Then chicken fries portion was huge and it came with a awesome ranch dressing! The fries were your typical chicken fries but the star of the show was the ranch and the portion you got couldn't be beat. Chargrilled oyster trio came out and they were lookin extra nice! It came with 2 slices of bread and 2 lemons. They were extremely hot and I could tell they were just cooked. To me the oysters were a little small but thats okay the flavor was all there! Lastly was our " Ultimate Po-boy " which was a fried oyster Po-boy, grilled bacon, 2 fried green tomatoes, with shredded lettuce and mayonnaise. The oysters were nicely coated and deep fried. The bacon paired in the po-boy was nice but what was even better was getting a bite of the bacon, fried oysters, and fried green tomatoes all at once! The bread was nice and airy and had a perfect snap-back when biting into it. It was very manageable to eat holding it since everything layered perfectly! At one point I was dipping the oysters into the ranch and pouring the ranch over the shredded lettuce and eating it like a salad. The fries were great and once again even better with the ranch. Adventure Pubs & Spirits is a great place to dine out and they serve up some great food. The drinks are ice cold and the staff is great! One thing I did notice was the place allows cigarette smoke indoors so if your a smoker great and if not they always have a patio with tables. read more

We have been here twice. First time was for lunch. Huge portions very good service. The appetizer was fried artichoke hearts, this a first time for me and wasn't disappointed. To be honest, the cajun shrimp wrap was a tad disappointing. I wasn't sure what was "cajun" about it. It was loaded with shrimps, but really lacked flavors. Was there supposed to be sauce in there? On the other hand, the messy mushroom burger was divine! The burger patty was massive, juicy and well cooked. On top of that, the mushroom gravy really melted everything together. Best burger on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I found myself searching for a good burger after taking the kids bowling. Thanks to Yelp I found Adventure's. Since it looked like it's primarily a bar, I called. Kids can be inside as long as they're gone before 10 p.m. Walking in I realized that this is definitely primarily a bar, but one that also serves food. The large bar was filled with regulars even though it was a weekday afternoon. Some were smoking which detracted from our whole experience, but Mississippi is behind the curve when it comes to smoke free food. Other than the smoke, we loved the place. The food is very simple American fare. We liked it so much we went back twice on consecutive days. We tried fried pickles and cheese fries as appetizers. The pickles were actually better than the fries, but the fries were still very good. Both came with a heaping supply of ranch for dipping. For my main courses I got burgers both days. The Biloxi burger is their standard burger and it's great. Like really great. Like perfectly cooked juicy goodness great. Yeah. It's that good. The burger itself is a massive hand formed patty cooked to order. The bun is soft and seeded. Toppings are very fresh. The cheese is grated and melty. If that sounds like the perfect burger to you, you'll love it. Just thinking of the burger or looking at my photo makes me want another one. Other than the burgers we also got their salad, chicken tenders and chicken sandwich. All were great versions of those dishes. of the three I'd say the chicken sandwich was their least favorite. It was grilled rather than fried and had some extra char from the grill the kids didn't like. Speaking of kids, there is no set kids menu. But look at what we ordered and you'll see they've got you covered. The atmosphere is a little bar like if you've got kids. Nothing inappropriate was going on, but there were some rowdy Miami fans watching a game. I had to explain to my kids that not everyone is smart enough to like LSU, but they had to learn it sometime. Is Sanitation a thing??? I would love to rate this bar higher, however, a few blatant health violations occurred during the visit that makes me quiver at the thought of returning. Start off with the bartender that assumes its acceptable to make 3 drinks, stop while making the fourth to take a hit of her vape, and blow the smoke over the already made one's, and the current one she was making. Then there was a bartender/waiter who multiple times would hit his vape and then blow smoke over the drinks and open ice. There were two bartenders behind the bar and for people just standing by the kitchen drinking, vaping, and having more fun than the patrons. The two bartender were even complaining about their peers just standing around. The for workers would only the cons into the bar area to make themselves drinks or occasionally bring one food item. My favorite moment was the girl with rauburn hair who was brushing it behind the bar. I understand the bar let's you smoke in it. But that shouldn't be a reason for the staff to freely vape while working. They were more tone hitting their values than taking to customers. As for the food, it was not so great. The chargrilled oysters were burnt and flavorless. I understand they are made on a grill and I usually enjoy them a lot, but these were almost charcoal. They also took 35 minutes (we timed it) to get to us and the bar wasn't even half full. My date really liked the gumbo, but that was the only thing. The pecan pie was barely a pie. It was like flattened down mush and the pecans didn't seem like they had any filing holding them together. It felt like chopped nuts in a store bought crust without sugar. Well it certainly was an adventure wondering if we were going to get served or not. Nobody takes 1 star reviews seriously, but our experience on Tuesday night has nothing at all to do with the food we never got to order. When we got there and the tall gentleman with the beard working the floor told us to sit wherever we wanted, as it turned out he was thinking it doesn't matter because I'm not going to serve you anyway. That really was the vibe he put off and I told my family I had it at 50/50 whether or not we were going to get served. We gave it 25 minutes. He walked right by a couple times staring at the floor and the next time looked me in straight in the eyes and kept walking and we knew it was over. Adventures Pub I was able to find on Yelp while I was staying at the Beau. I wanted to get out of the casino for food and drinks, and that's what I did. They have long hours, and I went for lunch. Apparently a lot of the staff from the casinos come here to hang out late after work. The building itself is very charming. The way the bar area is set up is very practical, with the focus being around the bar itself. My lunch could have been a little better. I really liked the side orzo salad, which is a creative combination. I also liked how they gave me fresh, steamed broccoli. The fish itself was previously frozen, and it didn't have much flavor. It's my fault, however, because I should have gone with one of the more traditional Cajun dishes. I think it's cool that a regular bar like this in Mississippi would have a menu consisting mainly of Cajun food. It's a treat for a Northerner, like me. They have Biloxi Brewing beer on tap, which is a plus, but they don't have any more than just one tap. Otherwise, it's mostly just the standard commercial beers on tap. Bryan took care of me and he made sure my cup was full and I had everything I needed. I ordered the chargrilled oysters with Parmesan and butter. I also ordered a side of orzo pasta. The oysters were divine and not a piece shell anywhere in my oysters. The side of orzo pasta was as huge as a main dish. The orzo was a little spicer than I've had in the past but it is by the best.
