They framed, and rebuilt with cedar beams/ railings and finished with a beautiful, durable composite wood flooring. The detail of the craftsmanship on the custom cedar railings and posts are amazing. Demo and rebuild were completed in the estimate that was given of 3 weeks. I showed John a picture of how I wanted it, and he and his team did the rest! Seamless from beginning to end. We are overall happy with the way the shower turned out, but there were a few things that left me…read morefeeling less than satisfactory. After reviewing the scope of the project, it was estimated that it would take a week and a half to complete. Not only did it take over a month to eventually complete, the days that the team would work were unpredictable. On several occasions, as the team would leave for the day, they would tell us they will be back tomorrow, and then not show up. Or, they wouldn't be able to tell us when they would come next, and would surprise us a few days later. They ended up needing to complete this project after I had delivered my baby (original timeline would've been completed weeks prior to my due date). Additionally, we noticed there were a few design decisions that were made without consulting us, like the drywall of the shower/re-installation of the water gauge (it's now not flush with the wall and very loose) and the selection of tile at the base of the shower that doesn't match the floor. He had offered to come fix the water gauge, but after coming to look at the issue, he has not gotten back to us in 5 weeks. I had high hopes for this project, and while it still looks nice, the lack of communication made it really difficult to want to recommend Peter or use his team again for future projects.

On July 2 he advised that JULIE would come out and that work would commence on July 22. No one showed on July 22 at which time I outreached to him and he said that they were behind on another job and would not be able to start for a few more weeks. At this point i had moved all the patio furniture and outdoor stuff off my deck, which was frustrating. The work didn't start until mid-August. We had expected this to be a two week job and to use the yard for a memorial service we were having but the deck took until February to complete- nearly 6 months. During that time he failed two deck inspections, his guys hit a gas line and there was a rotation of workers here, none of whom seemed to really know what they were doing. We used the upper deck about 4 times before our latch fell off the gate. We attempted numerous outreach to him and he has not come to fix the issue. I am also still cleaning up debris- finding full sets of nails, loose nails and deck debris quite often. Since they finished in February lots was covered in snow and throughout the summer I have kept finding more and more garbage and debris from the crew.
