Being my first time in treatment, I didn't know what to expect or what I had committed myself to but, Lighthouse was there for me every step of the way. From detox to completion of treatment, I received nothing but love, support and respect being as broken as I was. They treated me with compassion, understanding and operated within God's grace while taking care of me every step of the way. Through their help and programming, I was able to not just rehabilitate my health. They helped to rehabilitate my mind. They were able to do for me in 3 months what I was incapable of doing for myself. Because of Lighthouse, I have my life back. My marriage is back on track, my kids have their father back but most importantly I restored my relationship with God during my stay. I couldn't have done this without their help or support. I was failing on my own. Lighthouse made it so that I was able to focus on healing myself from the inside out. Thank you so much for church, gym, yoga, offsite meetings and all the extras like game night and movie night. It was the first time I had done (or was able to do) any of those things sober in YEARS. Thank you so much for the clinical groups, motivational speakers and panels. It opened my eyes to a difference in perspective and understanding when it came to addiction and how much people need to be loved. Truly humbling. Thank you to everyone at intake, the front office and administration. With all your patience and calm demeanors, you make it look easy. Shout out to kitchen staff for all their hard work and making sure everyone there was always well fed (miss the food for sure). Taco Tuesdays were the best! Thank you to the nurses and doctors. You always made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. When it comes to staff, it's extremely difficult for me to pick favorites. They are ALL great. I have been a huge advocate for therapy and have been going for over 15 years. This is the first…read moretime I have ever felt obligated to write a review about one. I started with Jennifer recently in looks for an EMDR specialized therapist that took my insurance. Her website was very enticing and seemed to be a good fit with how she advertised herself. I began using her services and quickly I found out she was not a good fit. I wanted to give her some time to see if the rapport would build. I am someone who does not have a set schedule and she highly pushed for a weekly appointment. I also work with another therapist who does not take my insurance but absolutely have seen improvement and help with that one, so I was dividing time between the two of them. I am also in the travel industry and do NOT have a set schedule so my schedule changes weekly; some weeks are busier than others. I told her weekly would not work with me, and bi weekly would be best. She canceled the next appointment and I would continue with the following week. The following week ended up I needed to travel and needed to cancel that appointment as well. She makes you sign a cancellation policy which states cancellations you pay out of pocket, which is standard if you are cancelling 24 hours or less. I canceled my appointment 3 days prior with ample time within policy guidelines. I immediately got an email for rescheduling and I stated I would not be able to reschedule due to overloaded schedule. She then proceeded to tell me that since I cancelled I would have to pay out of pocket 140$ since she gave me a "free bee" cancellation already. Again she did not, that is when I told her I was switching to bi weekly because I did not want to continue weekly with her. I truly believe she is in this profession for self gain and not to truly help others. In 15 years I have never had such an absurd canceling process like it is a blood oath to go to a therapist that you reach out to for help. Do yourself a favor, unless you want to be burdened and bound to this therapist. Seek someone who truly wants to help and not find a way to take your money at any means possible. If you are seeking someone's services, you shouldn't be forced to. If you seek a hair stylist and you cancel an appointment within respectable amount of time, do they force you to go and get their services? No. I felt like I was in another forceful trapped relationship with my therapist. It's a NO for me.

I have spent the past two years working with my sponsor to let the resentment go that I have…read moretowards clear and the case manager I had. while I was there I was the first client to show up everyday . I participated in every single group and never missed a single day. during my stay someone relasped on meth and was allowed back into the program. I was let go after crying and begging to stay for hitting my weed vape pen , admitting it and promising I would stop bc I needed this accountability . They refused and asked me to leave . I want everyone to know I left and went to a place called Totality . That continues to work with me and every single client to ensure they can stay and work on themselves. I also recently saw a client that relapsed back at clear again . I have been sober ever since , and that is because of leaving clear and finding a place that is welcome to all addicts and alcoholics with open arms . I pray it was a personal thing towards me and that you don't drop clients all the time that truly want to be there . Nicole Kleinle
