He heard my concerns about feeling everything while he filled my cavity. I never felt anything. His dental assistant made sure to keep checking to see how I was doing and well as Dr Maser. It was so refreshing to not feel any pain and my teeth look beautiful I could just cry. If you are contemplating coming here just do it. Dr Maser and his staff are amazing human beings. Approximately one month later, I received an unexpected bill in the mail stating that my insurance had not covered the full amount of the services rendered. I immediately contacted the medical center for clarification and was informed that the charges were not fully covered by my insurance after all. Had I been properly informed beforehand that the services would not be covered as represented, I would have had the opportunity to make an informed financial decision regarding the appointment and treatment. Instead, I relied on the information provided by the medical center and proceeded under the reasonable belief that the visit was covered except for my co-payment. As a result of the inaccurate information and representations made by the facility, I am now facing an unexpected financial obligation that I did not knowingly agree to incur.

However, when I was taken to the room, the assistant said it would actually be $309. When I asked why, she said, "It's just a $10 difference," which is not true -- it's $19. I told her I would be paying cash (no insurance) and that I didn't appreciate the price changing before we even started. She said she would go check the price and never came back. After 40 minutes, I went out myself and found her just standing there. She said they had increased the prices and that the front desk "didn't know." Then the doctor, Robert Huggins, came in and said prices were higher because I made the appointment "a month ago." That's not true -- I scheduled it three days before. He apologized and agreed to honor the original $290 price, and even said he'd do it for $280. He gave me anesthesia at 11:10 a.m. and said he would start in a few minutes. But he didn't come back for almost an hour -- until 11:55. By that time, the anesthesia was already wearing off. When I told him this was unacceptable, he said, "You're right, I should've told you to come next week, because I'm too busy today." Then he gave me two options: he said he could either start right now and finish everything in 15 minutes, or reschedule me for another day. So basically, after sitting in that chair for three and a half hours, hungry, numb, and ignored, he suddenly decided my treatment could be rushed in just 15 minutes. That's not normal, and it's absolutely unacceptable. Even though it was an emergency for me and I decided to let him fix the tooth that day, I left the clinic completely drained and disappointed. No one offered water, no one apologized. At the end, he gave me a $50 discount, and I ended up paying $618 in total. I will never come back to this place again -- and I don't recommend it to anyone who expects respect, honesty, and professionalism

They put him on antibiotics and filled his cavities. I was so impressed, as I had not used them in the past, but they took care of my son like he was a patient all his life. Since that time, my son told me that he was very impressed with the dentist and how at ease he felt in his care. I think it was Dr. Cleary. Well my son went on and on about how much he liked the dentist. I felt great for taking him there. Recently, my husband began to have dental pain. He was anxious about going and what kind of care he would receive. I suggested we stop by the office and talk to them. The lovely receptionist said, "we have an opening at 3 PM today", and we took it. She then handed my husband forms to fill out, so he would be ready upon his return. My husband was leery about trying this dentist, as he never needed medical care here. I said, "You still have time to cancel if you wish". He didn't, and went to the appointment. He saw Dr. Goldberg, and when he came out, he was so impressed with the dentist and the care he was provided, he went on and on about it. I have not yet been to this office, but have taken my family members and paid the bills. Their prices are reasonable for their services provided. My family has been very happy with their treatments and are willing to go to Glenn's Bay Dentists without squalking any more.

Unfortunately, the billing office completely undermines that experience. After a routine visit on March 19, I received a bill right before leaving for a family vacation (April 3-17). When I returned, my entire family came down with COVID, which delayed me from going through my mail. As soon as I reviewed it, I immediately called and paid the balance on May 1. Despite that, I received a letter from the billing office claiming no payment had been made and stating I would now be required to pay in full at the time of service. The tone was unnecessarily harsh and accusatory, especially given my consistent history of paying my balances over the past three years. Including a policy as if I were unaware or negligent felt condescending and completely disregarded the reality that sometimes life happens. There was no attempt at understanding--just a blanket, impersonal response. It's unfortunate because the quality of care from the doctor is not reflected in how patients are treated on the administrative side. In the end, the billing office's approach was enough for me to take my care elsewhere. If you choose to go here, be aware: the medical care may be great, but the billing experience can leave a very different impression.
