They were very knowledgeable and very easy going, just like any dealer ship when you are making a large item purchase. I have a issue with one of my usb plugs that has a screw inside it. Then not even a month and 1 trip a panel pops out. I called to have this issue resolved twice already and no one calls back with any resolve. My children can be hurt with this screw in this plug under the bunk bed. I also suggested to them send me the outlet and I will change it myself. I guess I have to purchase the outlet myself and fix the panel myself. So if you are looking for outstanding service I would look somewhere else. Anyways, I had kept Jeremy in the loop regarding the loan processing. Well today (granted almost 2 weeks ago, Good Sam is taking forever) Jeremy calls to tell me basically tough shit, we sold the trailer because you took too long and didn't call us. I work in customer service (automotive). We always follow up with our customers. He called me on 11/9 and that was it. 7 days ago. Since I made no communication and the sales person and Jeremy did not call me (he said they called several times, they called me once and left no message). If you have a pre-approval, DO NOT COME HERE. They will sell the trailer without even telling you and not give you any options. This place is awesome! My furnace went out, and when I checked, it was definitely the tanks in the front of my trailer. So I needed some emergency parts for my propane system on my WildWood XLite. I didn't know exactly what parts I needed but "Kenny" the parts genius had everthing I needed to repair my rig. He was so nice and knowledgeable. I'm going back just because I know he cares and really wants to make it right. Mayjor RV has an amazing staff, and a huge selection of recreational vehicles to choose from. The prices seem to be right on the money and not once did I feel like I was being swindled or just another sale for their profit margin. I got there literally as the staff was clocking out and they were about to walk out the door, but they stopped and took the time to get me correct parts, instructed me how to properly install them, and showed me a trick to make absolute sure it was air tight and ready to go. Great experience with my Dynamax Motorhome repair. There was a recall on the slide control module. I first called Range RV and they informed me that they only performed recalls on units sold by them. I called Major RV and talked to Steve in service and he contacted Dealer for parts. Steve called me 9 days later to tell me parts were in and scheduled an appointment for the next week. I've waited a while to write this review because I wanted to do an entire review instead of just a sales review. SALES: First, let me say that we have been "looking" for a specific 5th wheel for about a year (Attitude 28SAG). We've shopped other dealers, given our phone number, blocked the excessive phone calls from them and never went back again (like seriously, EVERY DAY). I found on-line exactly what we wanted at the exact price we wanted at Major RV. It was an hour drive, but with the price, it was totally going to be worth it. We called them, gave them our credit card to hold it and set up an appointment for the weekend to go buy it. Boom, that's it - no haggling, no extra fees, surcharges, hidden charges, dealer prep fees, NOTHING ! What we saw on-line as the price of the 5th wheel was the price we paid for the trailer. We added the tax (normal) and the DMV fees were estimated (can you believe we received a $40.00 check in the mail because they over estimated them and returned the excess ?!?!?) and those 2 were added on to the price, but that's it. Nothing else. We didn't have our 5th wheel hitch installed yet, so they held it for another week or so for us. Extremely easy transaction for such a huge purchase and we cannot be happier. SERVICE: We took the trailer out for the first trip and there were a few kinks that need to be worked out. We called a number of other dealers closer to our house but nobody could get us in for a month, or just refused to take our service because we didn't purchase it from them. Whatever . . . so we called Major RV - again, worth the hour drive. We called on Saturday and got it into service on Tuesday. Not sure if that is normal, but it worked perfectly for me. They fixed the few kinks perfectly and we couldn't be happier. The service guy (Steve) went above and beyond, offering to accommodate our schedule, even if he were scheduled off that day. If you find what you want at Major RV (easily found on-line), and are looking for a hassle free purchase without excessive phone calls and fees, the drive is definitely worth it, not only for sales, but service as well. read more

My wife and I recently purchased a 2017 29' Forest River Salem Ultra Lite. Our experience at Major RV was beyond easy. Eric was our salesperson. He was patient and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. There was absolutely no sales pressure. The no haggle price was still cheaper than other dealers and they don't charge a pre-delivery inspection fee. There was no hidden fees added either. Jeremy and Eric made sure we didn't buy more trailer than our tow vehicle can handle. It's no secret that some dealers will sell you a 10,000 LB trailer and tell you your Fiat will tow it fine. We used our own financing but Melissa in the finance department was very nice and tried her best to beat our pre-qualified rate. The pre-delivery inspection was thorough and easy. Final paperwork was a breeze. They even delivered the trailer to our home because we hadn't gotten around to installing our hitch (we live local). I purchased my trailer out of state and Major RV had no problem whatsoever doing the warranty work for me. They scheduled my appointment and closer to the date they called me to reschedule because they were behind on work. They said that they could get the approval before my service date so that there wouldn't be any hiccups. My issues weren't major so they said that they could have them fixed while I waited. I am impressed with their business and they were not only willing to help me but they were honest. Other dealerships will just let your rig sit on the lot for weeks till they get approval and are willing to work on it. I definitely recommend them for repair work or buying an RV! read more

Bought a new 2014 Salem Cruise Lite travel trailer. Anthony was my sales person and was patient with me throughout the entirety of the sale. Their prices were the lowest around so they didn't really negotiate on price (just a couple hundred) and I scoured the trailer before taking delivery and found a few minor issues which they addressed immediately. I mean, I really checked everything using a checklist I found online. He didn't rush me during the PDI and walked me through the trailer showing me how everything works, which is standard practice, but was nice anyway. They also set up my weight distribution equipment on the trailer while I was inspecting the trailer. I passed on their aftermarket warranty and recommend instead getting the 2nd year warranty direct from Forest River for $150 (or $250 depending on model). I did end up having an issue with the floor during the first outing and the service department was spot on coordinating the repair with Forest River in Rialto and I got my trailer back in no time. I was upset that the linoleum floor needed to be replaced, but that wasn't the dealer's fault and they were great with the warranty coverage. The lesson here is to check the floor with your BARE FEET, not just shoes. ;) It's a small RV dealer and overall a first class operation, I recommend. read more

We were looking for a Toy hauler, We live in the Reno Nv. area and they had nothing in their stock that interested us. The prices were outrageous . I was looking on Rv Trader magazine and found Major. We called a couple of times and seen what we wanted. It's a 5 to 6 hr. Drive one way for us but their prices were so competitive it wasn't funny. For making this drive we saved Seriously, "$20,000" The crew were some of the friendliest people in one spot. They have very good and personal guys, from Gerson the Salesman to Jeremy the store Manager and their crew. By being a veteran they did a little more to save us money. Once purchase was made before we left home, We got there and the Model we wanted was just to small. We seen another longer and Jeremy helped us with the bank and we switched RV's to the longer one. We had made an appointment ahead of time to have a 5th wheel hitch installed by an outside source, about 5 miles out it failed. We made it back to Major RV. they assessed situation and ordered a new upgraded hitch for my truck. Our trailer is still at Major Rv awaiting arrival and installation of new hitch.(Super glide) PS: while waiting for paperwork to be done our salesman lent us his Car to get lunch! An update on Major RV........ We just had a few new aftermarket parts ( roof fans, vent covers...) installed on our new 2017 28IBG Attitude trailer. We were very concerned about taking our NEW trailer to other places for these mod's that were a lot closer to our house....but looked shaky. When we were at Major RV on a prior visit we were introduced to two of the service techs, Adam and Nick. Adam discussed in heavy detail what would be some procedures to a few of my install questions. I was very impressed. So Adam and Nick installed our fan's and fan cover's plus more. They even had a big ladder for me to climb up and inspect their work!!! How many places do that for you???
