Food was less than desirable! The hard Tacos explode and fall apart. The slaw was too hot in flavor! The 3 coconut Shrimp tacos only had 3 small shrimp.. They were Hot too. Upon entering was greeted and seated by Dillion. Very friendly and informative. Our waiter was Anthony. Also friendly and informative. He took time to explain the menu along with about how long items would take to come out of the kitchen. Very nice touch. Anthony was very attentive throughout the dinner. Would definitely enjoy having him as a waiter again. Started with chips with queso and guacamole. Loved the queso. The guacamole was very good but the red onion was very strong. In saying that it could have just been that onion that was used. If you like Brussel sprouts I highly recommend trying the ones here. The Cauliflower bites are sticky as advertised and very good. As for the tacos. The happy pappy was amazing. Stuffed with pork carnitas. So flavorful and the toppings made it. The Alderman is spicy if you like spice. If not beware before you order it. The steak was a tad overdone for my preference but didn't take away from the flavor of the taco. If you're in the Hamilton area and looking for a place to eat this is definitely the place to consider. It's great for all occasions or a date night. Also great for families. We love Kim ! My girl has been coming here for a while, and she told me about a brief moment they had bonded on a special day. This was my first time there so, when Kim was our server I was a bit excited as her energy and customer service was already radiating. The ambiance was really intriguing I kept finding new art and decorum to look at. Temperature was perfect inside , the lighting is definitely more night like inside but still a great aesthetic for happy hour ! Anyhow so far so good . Drinks are great . What a beautiful restaurant. They were super busy when we went but the front desk maintained their cool and were friendly and warm to all. Our server was helpful and explained the menu to us. Parking was easily accessible and plenty of parking spaces. The entrance was outrageous with decorations, along with quick service at desk. We sat in bar area, where there was plenty of seating. Waitress was named Alex and was very knowledgeable about each item on the menu. I ordered the sticky cauliflower bites (sesame & ginger sauce, along with crispy wonton strips) as an appetizer. The main course was The Saucy Sis ( lmpossible burger meatballs with tangy red dipping sauce). The Sticky cauliflower had excellent favor and portions were tremendous. I just couldn't believe the size of my taco (like a child getting a gift on Christmas). The meatballs were very tender and sauce was delicious. We have eat at the Liberty way restaurant. And it was really good. But the new Hamilton,ohio location beats it all. I eat there at least 2 times a week. The place is staying clean. I had never dined at this location, though Ive been to the liberty location a few times. This place was no less impressive! Sarah, our server was top-shelf friendly and helpful. I would say "actually impressed" by a server. The decor isn't something I'd copy at home, but it's suits things well enough. I could see a rather large outdoor dining space and I'm eager to return in warmer weather. A Personal pet peeve is music volume. And here, it was perfect. My friend and I could carry in a comfortable conversation, yet still feel the vibe of the tune selection. Of course the food is great! I appreciate the menu, which is taco-heavy! There are options for simple or traditional palates. And there are options for adventurous foodie types. The new taco flight was excellent--smaller portions of more options so you can sample many. All in all, an excellent afternoon Ps - the desserts are huge! Two of us couldn't finish a shared plate. Honestly, for that "just a bit of something sweet" after a meal, I think four could easily split one. read more

Evidently somebody decided to change the menu and remove the best tacos. The "Becky" taco is gone! The "naughty Nola" gone, just to name a few. The appetizer " crab rangoons" have been changed to NO RICE, and they were overcooked to the point that the inside had melted outside and gone! I will give the manager credit though, when she noticed the issue with the appetizer, she had it remade the way it used to be and didn't charge us for them. Epic flight price went up. Please consider temporary additions in the spring, not take this off and this on. I will say this though, the server was great and the facility is real nice! read more

Only giving 4 stars due to new restaurant kinks that will work out over time. Ordered the chips/guac/queso/salsa - superb and had to order extra chips. Brussel sprouts and shrimp rangoon. Huge portions - big enough for 4+ Most of the party had the flight of tacos - definitely their stong suite and hard to finish 3. Fantastic place for dates/drinks. Good food. Server was epic. Hope he stays. Drinks were amazing. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and it was worth it(weekends & nights are packed, difficult to get a table) definitely going back to try more new things. Especially the house made tortilla chips. Drinks- Sweet tea-pictured & New Old Fashioned-pictured; it was outstanding, ask for extra cherries bite & chew the cherry with each drink, thank me later. Appetizer-Shrimp Rangoon's-(sorry no picture) but Yummy & eat the rice too, it's not just decorative it's delicious, server let us in on this secret & helped pick out our meal . Main course-Pick three tacos, I ate the swipe right(Chicken, w/sweet & savory sauce), mafia(Chicken w/spicy sauce), plain jane(Beef taco, s/c), all were good. Hubs had swipe right, Porky pig(pork taco) & sweet & sour(chicken taco w/ a s&s sauce). The only thing I would bring next time is a bottle of Chohula hot sauce, they didn't have any and it would have made the plain Jane even better. Take home-Burger w/American cheese, & fries; heads up comes on regular bread- yum! Dessert-Oreo Fridge Cake-fantastic, best eaten @ restaurant but we took it to go, still delicious. I just don't get it. I feel like I'm being pranked. i was so excited for this place to open because I love good Mexican food. I tried a variety of their tacos and none of them were interesting, and frankly disappointing. It tastes like a white person's bastardized version of Mexican food but in the worst way possible. I took a bite of the lobster taco and I did not expect a clam chowder in a shell. Terrible Mac and cheese shoved onto every meal. The cheese flavor is so overpowering and ruined any dish it touches. Their "spicy" taco was very bland and unseasoned even. I just don't get it. What am I missing here? How is the parking lot always full? Do people really enjoy this? The service was fine and the atmosphere is in stark contrast to the flavor of the food. Most of the budget for this restaurant went into architecture and theming and pennies went to the kitchen. Just such a shame. I was so disappointed. I'm not giving a one star because it's still a fine restaurant, not a disaster, and still somehow pulls customers, but it's not for me. read more

Elotes were so bland that it tasted like eating plain corn. I asked to have my entree removed from my bill because It was cold/soggy and by the time it came out my entire party was 95% done with their plates. One of the party members asked to cancel their appetizer because it had not arrived by the time they finished their entree. The server still brought it out anyway. 5 out of the 7 people in the party did not enjoy their food. Our server seemed overall disinterested in our party.Nothing about any of the meals tasted like actual Mexican food. I would give 0 stars if possible and definitely would not recommend. read more

I was a little uncertain about this place when I went there, but that uncertainty has been totally replaced with happiness and gratitude for a wonderful dinner. I got the "Taco flight" and every taco was fantastic. I got the "Plain Jane", "The Alderman" and the "Happy Pappy". My final favorite was the Happy Pappy...not sure what all is in that thing, but it was delicious. The Plain Jane was good too, but a trifle boring in comparison to the others. The Alderman was a close second...word to the wise...the Spicy Chile de Arbol Salsa is really good, but in my view, really hot. I got it on the side and put a little on each bite. That gave me better control. It was hot but really good. And by the way...Shout out to Lindsey! You did great and we felt well taken care of. Thank you so much. My only (very slight) negative was on the noise level. This place is really popular and definitely not a place for quiet conversation. Amazing! All fresh ingredients. Our waitress, destiny was prompt, enthusiastic, and incredibly sweet.
