This use to be our go to place in town. Now it's def not. Prices have been raised like crazy and service is horrible. We were the only customers here and were treated like they didn't want us there. The chips are not home made. We got the all you can eat tacos and the chicken tacos were pouring water out of them. There is no way to complain either when no one comes back to the table to check on things. Refills we had to go ask for them each time. There are better places in ralston to go to and this place is not it anymore which is so sad to say. Maybe one day things will change but at this time we will not go back for quite some time. read more

The only way I like to eat fajitas now that I've found this place ! They serve these pineapple bowls stuffed with chicken, steak, pineapple chunks, peppers and onions topped with a cheesy queso sauce it is so mouth watering! Well worth the price and it comes with rice or beans and a few soft shell tortillas! I've only done curbside so can't speak much on service inside but all employees were friendly when they've served me & the chef cooked these bowls to perfection. Went to Agave on Sunday for dinner. We were a table of 9 people and must say our waitress was amazing !!' She took great care of us. Had myself a michelada and it's was good and mildly spicy. I had them use a Pacifico in it. I ordered the Carnitas fajitas. They came out sizzling! Love that! It came with pico, sour cream , cheese and hot salsa. Let me tell you the hot salsa there is soooo freaking delicious and spicy! Yum! Could drink it with a straw I loved it so much. I'm Keto so I skipped the beans and rice and tortillas. Took around 5-10 minutes to get a drink order in. Would not recommend The margaritas as they tasted like syrup and from a pre-made bottle. Food was delicious and came out quickly. Stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening fairly early so it wasn't busy yet. We were immediately greeted and seated by our waiter. He gave us plenty of time to look over the menu but didn't hover. Once we placed our order (Pina Loca and Steak & Shrimp) it was a short wait until our food arrived. While waiting on our order we enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. The decor is very interesting. The light fixtures are unusual as they look to be custom designed. The wall decor is also unique looking. The lighting is dim but comfortable and invokes a pleasant dining experience. We will definitely be back. read more

What a wonderful hidden gem located at 72 and Q streets Omaha. My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised immediately by the beautiful Decour and friendly staff. The restaurant was impeccably clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. Sandra, our server, was very informative of the menu and gave us great recommendations! . When our food emerged from the kitchen, we were blown away at the presentation! If you're from TX and completely spoiled by the Mexican food from TX - that is not what you'll get here. It's what I would consider "cheap" Mexican but it's so good! They have quite a few gluten free items. I really like the nachos and tortilla soup. My husband has had a few menu items and liked all of them. The margaritas is where this falls flat (hence the four and not five stars). They are sugar sweet - you can tell it's one shot tequila and then diluted completely with cheap mix. We got around that by ordering on Grub Hub and making our own margaritas to go with the food. Service was very friendly - a bit slow, but very friendly. My son was throwing a temper tantrum and being extremely picky with his food. The server just rolled with it and brought him a few smaller things. read more

Really enjoyed speaking with the manager (maybe owner) during our visit. Food was really good, wife had the chimichanga (two smaller wraps) and I had the enchiladas trio. They accidentally used my credit card to pay for my meal and a wrong, much more expensive meal that I didn't order. I called when I noticed the charge on my credit card, and the manager told me to bring in my receipt and that he didn't remember me and couldn't help me. I don't have a receipt for a meal I wasn't supposed to pay for. The person whose meal it was has that receipt. Avoid this place. read more

Great little gem. Amazing patio to watch Ralston fireworks. Food and margaritas are worth the trip.

The Ralston location is pretty good. Been there 2 times and have enjoyed my food both times. They are under a different management than the 132nd and Dodge location. This one gets a 4.1 outta 5. I've been there twice with large groups (for meetings) both times and I know I should've taken photos but I was busy. I ordered the steak and shrimp the first time and it was good. Big shrimp which was better than I anticipated. The steak was good, it wasn't medium rare like I ordered but medium. The beans and rice were good. The food came out in average time for a large group. The habanero salsa is really good, there's not a lot of heat to it and it's very enjoyable. The second time I ordered the Mar y Tierra and man, that was great. The crab enchiladas were better than I expected. The sauces on the enchiladas were flavorful. The other 2 enchiladas were tasty and the sauce was very good. The place is really clean, the staff was very friendly and were quick with refills and anything else we needed. The bathroom was clean and smelled clean. I can't rate the TP cause I didn't go boom boom. I'll be back. read more

This is definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The food, atmosphere, drinks and service are all amazing! They told us there was a 25-30minute wait when we got there and we only ended up waiting about 10 minutes. The atmosphere here is very pleasing and the food is also really good. The chips and salsa they bring out is compliment and very delicious compared to most other Mexican restaurants. I like that the salsa is not too spicy, but if you ask, they can bring you a spicier salsa if desired. The enchiladas were great. I tried the ground beef, chicken and cheese enchiladas and the ground beef one was my favorite between the three. Their rice and refried beans were not my favorite though. They just had a weird taste to them. Service was great. Overall, I recommend this place. read more

Really good Mexican food on south 72nd street at Agave Azteca. First off, cool decor, and excellent service, now the food...very good, will most certainly be back to try more. I ordered the enchiladas trio, chicken, beef and pork, topped with a light drizzle of some great sauce. They were all good, the chicken was my favorite though, tender, great spices and very juicy. I have noticed that some Mexican places beans and rice are just sort of bland, nothing more than filler, this place was the total opposite, very good on both counts. Do not bus or wipe tables where people are eating/drinking/conversing. The food was good. Great vegan/vegetarian options. But we continually had staff picking things up off our table or wiping our table and interrupting our conversation. Can't that wait until we have paid or are done? I went here for one simple reason: this restaurant was deemed by some travel article as "the best Mexican restaurant in Nebraska." Now, I don't know what the best Mexican restaurant in Nebraska is. I really don't. What I DO know though, is that agave is not it. This place just sucks. I'm sorry to the people that work here who try hard and actually care, but the food was so bad. I had their stuffed peppers and it was just pure mush. Flavorless, dry rice and beans that tasted old and gross. Very underwhelming portions too. I was actually still hungry when I was done eating my meal. My girlfriend had some fish dish - the tilapia maybe? I can't remember. It was better then the cheese covered mush I was given but that's not saying much. The drinks weren't very good either: weak and way too expensive. The service was ok - but no service could have saved the abysmal food we were served. Judging by the other reviews and good looking pics, my girlfriend and I must have came on a bad day. A reaallllyyyy bad day. I'd like to give it another shot but this may have actually been the worst meal I've ever gotten in a restaurant. It's hard to justify giving this place another chance when the first one was so bad. read more

He did it to my face, then again to a younger server who quickly looked around to see if I caught it. Yeah, I did. I never ridicule anyone's English pronunciation, not so fun to get ridicule when ordering and paying for a meal. So sorry my Spanish isn't up to your standard. This is hands down our favorite place for Mexican fare in Omaha. We have tried several different entrees at this point and each has been a flavor and presentation adventure. Agave offers an extensive descriptive menu with excellent photos to tempt your taste buds. Service has always been friendly and attentive. Restaurant has a very welcoming decor and comfortable seating. Favorite menu items are the Fajita Nachos ( Chicken, Steak or Both), Pollo Azteca, Burrito Mexico, Molcajete, and Fried Ice Cream. The Molcajete is easily enough for 2. We have yet to try the all you can eat Taco Tuesday for $7.99 or the kids eat free option on Wednesday with a balloon artist, and face painter from 5:30 - 7:30. Just wanted a good Mexican dinner, but ended up with a ruined evening and Taco Bell. Server was MIA the whole hour and a half we were there. Couldn't even get a refill on water. Drinks were all wrong and we never got our food, even after being told twice it was on its way. Then the waitress told us to go in the back and tell the cooks when we said we were leaving, which was unnecessary and rude. It's one thing to have an off night, but then to have staff that treats the customer like crap when they've been waiting patiently?! The most frustrating part was watching people who had been there less than 30 mins getting their food. Won't be back, there are plenty of other great Mexican restaurants in this town. read more

Have never been here, but will definitely go back. We were seated immediately and our drink order was taken and brought to our table in no time. Our server seemed to be the only one taking care of the whole place, so she gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted while taking care of her other tables. When we got our order in, the entree's came within 15 minutes, very hot, very fresh and very tasty!! THEN, she had a party of 20 people walk in and between getting tables shoved together and getting her big party situated, kept our table, and others well serviced. I was impressed with the food and the cooperation between the kitchen and dining room staff, as they worked well together. Worst service I believe I have ever had in a restaurant. We were basically ignored by our waitress the entire time we were there. Three times we asked for more chips and three times we were denied. Finally ended up taking our Queso home....without chips... Asked for our check and never received it. Finally went up to the bar and paid. No tip tonight. You know, I can't complain! I'm always up for some good tex-mex with a side of over priced guacamole. The interior decor does throw me a bit as it doesn't scream what they sell; which is Mexican food. Be that as it may, I tried their shrimp tacos with pineapple and HOLY AMAZING. The mixture of sweet, spicy, salty and crunchy was on point! I did order guacamole with my chips and salsa - thinking it's literally just guacamole - but oh noooo, it's a production! Imagine a guy, wheeling out a cart, full of pre-chopped onions, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, jalapeños... just to name a few. A few slice and dice here and nearly placed in a molcajete, and made known it's "extra". I mean, who can live without guacamole?!?! When this location first opened it was good and had great food. Unfortunately over time their service has gone down. They never have a host, so I always end up waiting at the front door till one of the waiters comes and attends me. This last time I asked the waiter for a booster chair for a child and was never brought to me. A total of 14 min had past. We're eventually I just went towards the restrooms and grabbed one for my self since that's were they store them. As I came back to the booth I notice that our waiter still had not even brought us our chips & salsa and water. This was the second time I've had to walk out of this location. I love the food but their service is just horrible. Perhaps a new manager or owner is needed in order to get this place back to being great. read more

I had always wanted to try this restaurant as I drove by it nearly once a week. The food was good, but the service leaves a bit to be desired. The servers weren't unfriendly or rude, but I think half of their wait staff called in sick to work on the night I went because they were WAY understaffed! It took 15 minutes to get a drink and a handful of our party never did get a drink or had time to even place a food order before we had to head out to a standing obligation/appointment because we couldn't get waited on. Prices were decent. My only complaint is the subpar service. I'm not likely to return unless I have unlimited time to spend waiting for service. read more
