We stopped by here instead of getting food at the Chihuly glass garden museum. It's just outside the space needle area and the climate pledge arena. Their menu was pretty large with great drink options. They had an outside patio area, a bar and also booths. Their drinks were delicious and the hibiscus mezcal was beautiful. Food was delicious - I loved the green sauce with the calamari. The birria tacos were grilled just the right way and the dipping sauce with had jalapeños which was a nice touch. The quesadillas were on the appetizer menu but were a great option for lunch!

Great experience! Classic, slightly nicer Mexican restaurant with wide selection of margaritas/tequila and dishes. Especially loved the spicy salsa verde, prickly pear agave marg, citrusy Cadillac marg, and crispy cod tacos. Portions were large and filling and Michel was the best server!

A Mexican restaurant nestled into the heart of Queen Anne -- they're a stone's throw from Climate Pledge Area and SIFF Theaters, among other things. We stopped by for dinner before heading to the movies. The ambiance inside is nice, and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was decently busy for an early Saturday dinner, and the food did take a while as a result. The margs here are really good but I wasn't that impressed with the food IMHO -- there aren't many vegetarian options, and I felt like the Agave Burrito with Mushrooms and Spinach was mostly rice. I'd maybe go back for a drink and a snack before going to game or concert!

I seriously don't understand how people can be so entitled to leave a 3 star review while acknowledging that the food is amazing and any service issues are due to the place being packed during an event. There are very few options in the area so clearly there is high demand and a need for additional restaurants, sounds like a good problem to have! That being said, this is at the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Seattle, and having moved here after living 40+ years in Arizona and New Mexico, I can confidently say, the food is some of the best Mexican food I have had. I recently moved into the neighborhood and I will definitely be adding Agave to my regular rotation.

Agave was surprising good for the limited menu that they had for the nights of events at climate pledge. It was a little unfortunate that the first time I go that I wasn't able to try the things on the full menu but our waitress was super sweet and gave us a little surprise towards the end of dinner. Went to Agave the night of the Lizzo concert and it was packed. We got a table in the back kind of adjacent to the restrooms but there was little room for the waitress or individuals to pass behind my chair as the table behind us was super close. It was loud but eventually died down a little as everyone packed up to go to the concert. The table ordered chips, guac and salsa to start which the chips needed heaps of salt for taste. Eventually the food came out: Agave Burrito with Carnitas, Chicken Tinga Tacos, and Al Pastor Pork Tacos Though there wasn't supposed to be dessert, our waitress brought us out the fried ice cream and the Molten lava cake! The latter was very delicious! Make sure to check in so you can get a free dessert coupon!

We came from Texas to check out this place, was my bf birthday and i pick this place to take him for dinner, we stopped before going to the game, the place was full, the person at the entrance told us we could wait on the side of the bar and get drinks, the manager was not as friendly as he was with the couple who was in front of us, the bar back only removed the plates but did not clean, I had to ask someone to clean the bar top to put my drink, we decided it was better not to eat here, the bartender was the only one who talk to us and make me give This restaurant 2 stars. Not what I expect for a special occasion.

Stopped here for a quick, convenient bite on a Friday night before a concert. Be warned that it's teeming with patrons when there's an event at Climate Pledge - we waited about an hour before being seated. Everyone in your group must be present and there's a strict time limit on dining so patrons can be shuttled in and out efficiently. The portions are MASSIVE - I'd highly recommend splitting an entrée if possible. I ordered the nachos with carne asada and the plate was bigger than my head. Service was spotty, but that can likely be attributed to how busy it was. A good place to eat if you have an event at Climate Pledge!

The best tacos I've had in a while. Was shocked to see the overall rating of 3.4, the guys were really friendly and the bar was amazing. The tacos were so so so good during the happy hour!!

**vegetarian review** Agave is a large pleasant place with several vegetarian options! It was quite full but I could easy hear my friend so it's well spaced. I ordered the fried artichoke tacos which were so damn good. Omg the artichokes were so well done. I cannot say enough good stuff about it. I also got the cilantro jalapeño margarita which was quite good - could be a little less sweet but good regardless. I also got chips and salsa and the salsa was so nice. Spicy and perfect. Highly recommend.

Great service, great food, great location! Favorite spot to hit before a concert. Splurge on the skirt steak, it melts in your mouth like cotton candy! So good!!

We arrived around 5:00 PM and were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable mixologist. While looking over the menu, he asked what I typically enjoy drinking. I told him I'm a big fan of an Old Fashioned, and he suggested an Eagle Rare Old Fashioned. It was, without question, one of the best Old Fashioneds I've ever had at any establishment. The balance of flavors was outstanding, and the attention to detail was obvious from the first sip. I was so impressed by both the drink and the overall experience that I asked him how he made it and what ingredients he used so I could try to recreate it at home. While I'm probably only 90% of the way there, I'll never quite match the perfection he achieved that evening. The atmosphere, service, and cocktails were all exceptional. If you're looking for a great speakeasy experience in Seattle, I highly recommend checking this place out.

The first time we ordered buffalo wings and cocktails and had a great time. The wings were crispy and the drinks were tasty and strong. The second time we ordered gochujang wings, tacos, and drinks. The wings were covered in just straight gochujang which was a little disappointing. We would have preferred more of a sauce, with some soy sauce and/or honey to balance it out. The tacos were pretty good, but our main issue is that the bartender forgot about my boyfriend's drink. We figured it was just a one-time thing because there was only one guy taking orders, making drinks, bringing everything else, but unfortunately we had the same thing happen again. Once again, we ordered a couple drinks and the bartender forgot about my boyfriend's drink. The place was pretty busy, and once again it was one guy handling everything. I don't know what the problem is, if they need a better system of taking orders or if they need better staffing. Either way, this place has a lot of potential and it's unfortunate to see it wasted with bad service.

We came here to eat because it was near our hotel. I was OBSESSED with the crab nachos. 2 months later, I moved out here all on my own. Now, 8 years later, I live nearby. Whenever someone is visiting, we come here. Whenever I run into a stranger visiting, i say they have to come here. My friends know if i'm celebrating anything, "are you getting crab nachos?!" It's become a part of my personality at this point. I have so much respect for the owners, the way they run their business and their honesty online. No one I've brought here has had a bad thing to say regardless of what they ordered. My go to is: Pull apart bread, crab nachos (with their hot sauce!! which, btw can i buy that by the bottle.. cause YUM) + whatever drink is calling my name (they rotate, but if you can get the pina colada you won't regret it). tldr; you'll regret NOT coming here.

The outdoor patio is still there which was a nice addition from 2019/2020 era. Some of their bourbons are still reasonably priced. Their food is pretty good. Would recommend the tacos, the burger, and carne asada. The nachos were not particularly for me, and also seemed to come out cold. Seemed to have cheese sauce instead of actual cheese. It was a cold day however. This place is mainly great for happy hour after work, but will come back and try dinner another time. Staff is great though. Really quaint and awesome spot to post up. good food, good service, good drinks, good selection, and still better pricing than most bars with what they have to offer. I would love to have a nice bar to patronize, but the bar food menu doesn't match bar food vibe. I am curious what dinner would be like here. Whoever owns this bar and whoever is curating this menu is absolutely a music head. No debate. And here's your gentle PSA: please pass that love of music AND hip-hop history to your waitstaff. Because what happened to me... was personal. There are three drinks on the menu that basically scream, "someone in here grew up on hip-hop and never emotionally left the 90s." We've got: ATLiens Aquemini 2 ____ a Butterfly (fill in the blank, but if you know, you KNOW Kendrick Lamar, 2015) Now listen this is not "aqua-mini." This is Outkast. Andre 3000. Big Boi. Southern rap royalty. It is pronounced Ah-kwim-in-eye The waitress looks me dead in my soul and says, "Oh, you mean the Aqua-mini." I was transported out of my body. Now here's the issue: I would've let it go...if a Kendrick Lamar song wasn't also on the menu. Because why are we confidently mispronouncing Outkast while casually referencing Pulitzer-level rap on the same drink list? At that point I realized I was surrounded by people under 34 who had never had to wait for TRL, decode a CD booklet, or defend Southern rap. No one in my group shared my emotional breakdown. Not one gasp. Prices & Drinks (important part): Let's talk about the $18 drink situation. I paid $18 for an Aquemini and received...vibes. Not buzz. At $18, I expect at least a whisper of alcohol. Instead, I got decorative hydration. My husband's Blueberry Smash? Better. More flavor. More personality. So now I'm sitting there thinking: I paid premium pricing for a drink I had to defend and pronounce correctly myself... and still left sober. Food: I was a little hungry and ordered fried shrimp (not on the online menu) The shrimp was fine. Just fine. The dipping sauce tried its best, and I respect that effort. Why is everything either wagyu, mussels, duck, or something you need a culinary degree to pronounce like gruyere but I can't just get a basic bar plate? Wagyu sliders, chicken bites would have been nice because I don't usually go out thinking, "Tonight feels like Wagyu and mussels at the bar." Service: I'm from Los Angeles, so I'm familiar with urban sketchy with a side of vibes. The activities near the parking spaces was very sketch. I was with a group of 8, including my husband so I felt protected by numbers. Inside, it was a Friday night but surprisingly empty. The music was loud enough to feel like a party, but quiet enough that you could still hear each other. We tried to rearrange seating to accommodate our group and the waitress said "I'm not walking around you, so keep this aisle clear." Which was fair, but also, there are gentler ways to say "I need this walkway." Or tell us the better way to set up seating in the empty bar. I didn't have a second drink frankly because I was never asked. Most places I go the waitress will come and ask if I want another drink. I don't live in Seattle, so this was my intro to night time bar life in the city. Sleepless in Seattle? I think in 2026 it's more like Sleepy in Seattle by looking at the emptiness.
