Updating this review for mistreating your employees! Poor management and you call yourself a leader??? I hope employees know they have rights!! Being an owner doesn't give you the right to threaten them "you can be replaced quick!" Snapping your fingers and down talking to them!! It's sad to see how this employees stay because they need the job but you as an owner can have consequences because theirs laws that protect them! I hope the employees are reading this! Don't put your head down when someone like her bullies you in a workplace!! Food ok this time , and ambiance was poor due to you being rude to employees and laughing at the fact you can fire them anytime

Couldn't be more happier that Agave (A fine Mexican restaurant) is in town! We've been waiting for a place like this for more than 2 decades! Don't like to spend our money out of city limits, so now we have a nice place with great food close by! Came in for Sunday lunch and while very new and chaotic, I know they'll have all the issues settled in just a few weeks! Hoping to have another GRAND opening real soon to share with the entire valley! We ordered the chips and salsa and it was obviously very fresh and tasty. Also tried their queso Fondito and while small, still very good! Got a plate of the shrimp and steak tacos - cooked to perfection and was enough for left over lunch at work the next day! Can't want to come back again and enjoy another plate of something new! Emma, the owner, is extremely pleasant and appreciated our business and has been a resident of the valley for years. As a City Councilmember I'm ecstatic she decided to trust San Jacinto!

The dining experience was amazing. We had wonderful service by Jaime the food. The look in the taste of the food was amazing. You got generous proportions highly recommend we give it a five out of five.

    Ridiculously small portions ridiculously priced

Way OVER PRICED! They are changing even more for drinks then Temecula and Redlands. At least there you have nice scenery. Their food portions are small and overpriced as well. The service was nice but not attentive. I really wanted to like this place because itz so close to home but I will not be going again unless prices go down. Also, the owner that was taking my split payment acted like I was bothering her and zero customer service skills. If i'm going to spend over two hundred dollars on food and drinks, i'm going to make it worth and go to Redlands or Rockn K, where at least the customer service is outstanding. The food and the portions are outstanding. And the prices are fair because the have wonderful ambiance and scenery. I feel so ripped off.

Drinks - They're very pretty, and chips and salsa!

Let's all remember in these early days they are NEW! I think some grace and leeway are always needed for a new place. With that said, this will be an honest review of the experience. This was day 3 of them being open. This is gonna be long....but detailed! (I'm also adding service step opinions in hopes that the owner/managers actually read these) Parking Lot. It was good, however, difficult to get OUT if you're needing to turn left as there is a bit of a blind spot. I think you can go out a different way and go to a light (which I would do from now on). Atmosphere was great. It was open and spacious. I personally thought the music was a little loud. Went to the bathroom and there were no paper towels, and the hand dryer didn't work. The soap was *almost* empty, which to me means there isn't anyone checking it on a nightly basis - that is for sure one thing that needs to improve. Not only a nightly basis, but for sure during the open hours as well, especially as they are busy with the opening. We were greeted promptly when we arrived by not one, but TWO people (the hostess and one of the servers). It was a nice touch for the server to notice us and greet us (i'm sure not knowing if anyone had yet). We were seated in the bar area which was fine. I am short 5'0" and sat at the booth side of one of the high tops in the bar and there was no way I could sit there. The table was way too tall (or the booth too low, whichever way you want to look at it) to be a comfortable eating height for me, so that was a bummer. My husband and I switched sides and the chair on the other side was a little better for me. Service was slow. But AGAIN, REMEMBER, it was their 3rd day. I am quite sure all this will improve and I went in with a patient mindset thinking it might be this way. Everyone has to start somewhere. Ashley was our server, and I think she was overwhelmed, BUT she had a great attitude, was very upbeat and friendly and kind. She recommended dishes she liked, etc. We ordered drinks which took about 20 minutes to arrive (remember, 3rd day!!!!!!!!). We were prepared to wait (which is why we also took our time ordering things because I did not want our food before our drinks) Chips and salsa. The red fire roasted salsa was amazing! Let's also talk about the SALT on the table. I was like "what the what is this?!?!" -- it's a POWDER Salt. I had never seen or heard of anything like that so of course I went to the google! It's a thing! It.Was.Amazing! (they might want to add some rice in the shakers to get it to not stick, though). The SalT WaS AmAziNg! We started with the Empanadas ($18). I still think we got 2 of one and not all three, but my husband and are still disagreeing on that (ha ha ha) but they were good either way. They were definitely smaller than I expected and filling was not abundant, but they were tasty! The one that I think was the poblano and cheese (If I am right about that) was my favorite. Service Step: When anyone orders an appetizer, they should automatically bring small plates so when the food arrives you are ready to share! (they are not set on the table prior, there was only napkins and silverware) I think another service step should ABSOLUTELY be telling the guest when they serve this that the sauce on the side is Mango HABANERO salsa...i.e. FIRE HOT! I dipped my fork in and took a small lick and was like MAYDAY, MAYDAY!!!! (bad idea on my part). They should forewarn peeps. (I also should have let my husband taste it first but it didn't LOOK menacing-- it was....my bad - LOL) Camarones Agave - different than I expected. The vegetables were *perfect* - perfectly cooked! I had to peel my own shrimp, which I was NOT a fan of (and did share this feedback). There was a tasty sauce on them, but 1. Having to then peel them myself meant I was also peeling off all the sauce and 2. It was VERY messy. I think they should be peeled with Tail On at the MOST! I also read another review stating the same thing on a different dish. Hopefully they take this into consideration. The rice was actually flavorful, too, however, I do think that some of my "sauce" migrated on the plate and w/o this the rice and the veggies could have potentially been bland. 2 tacos - Chicken and Beef. Ashley was uncertain if you could do 2 different ones or if they had to be the same. I feel like the menu read as they could be different. They did come out one of each. Portion size was extremely small. Not very much meat. They were VERY flavorful and absolutely delicious, however. The beans were fairly flavorless in my opinion. He had the same rice as me. I will absolutely return, and try other things - I wanted to try the Queso Fundito (did read on another review it was small - and therefore seems to be a running theme). I feel like the prices are high for the portion sizes. We asked about guac and their option is $16 for fresh made and no other options. I asked if we could get a small "side" and were told no.

    Shrimp Ceviche yummy.

I went this afternoon the service was wonderful the food I enjoyed and the ambiance was amazing. We went with our grand daughter, she enjoyed the whole experience. Yes it's a little pricey but also this day and age everything is expensive. Even fast food. Want to have a nice dinner come on in. The drinks was fire.

Food and service was really good ! We can't wait to go back and try more yummy food! The ribeye tacos were so good!

First impression: The parking lot. The location wasn't ideal, but the ample parking and cleanliness more than made up for it.Upon entering the establishment, the decor immediately stood out--very upscale rustic/industrial. It beautifully balances contemporary restaurant design with traditional elements that honor the heritage of agave farming and mezcal/tequila production. We weren't seated right away, but given how busy they were, the wait was understandable. We were greeted and seated after about 10 minutes. For drinks, I ordered the Mango Serrano Margarita, and my fiancé got the Cantarito Tradicional. My margarita was delicious, but the Cantarito tasted a bit watered down. We enjoyed complimentary chips and salsa (which were amazing, by the way). We ordered the shrimp tacos, which were excellent, while my fiancé had the rib-eye tacos. I had originally wanted the shrimp cocktail, but they were out of climato (which would've been perfect). Instead, I went with the shrimp fajitas. Peeling the shrimp out of the shells was a lot of work. My fiancé's rib-eye tacos were untraditional but still pretty good--nothing spectacular, though. Pricey but they're starting out. Once they do I'm sure prices will come down. Emma (the owner and our server) was very sweet and attentive, though she seemed understandably overwhelmed. Overall, the quality was excellent in some areas and just okay in others, but there's clearly so much potential here. I'd love to come back and give them another try once they're fully settled. They just opened their doors a couple of days ago, so they're still very new. I'd give them a solid mid-4 out of 5. Based on what I saw, I think in a couple of months this place will easily be one of the best in San Jacinto.

Mini churros and vanilla ice cream

My family and I came in on Grand opening weekend day 2, we walked in and saw beautiful art on the walls, put in an order of potato rolled tacos, the #2 which was an enchilada and chile relleno with rice and beans, and some churros with vanilla ice cream! The food came out delicious and I would recommend this new restaurant to anyone in the area! Jessica gave amazing service, thank you again!

    Green enchiladas

I ordered the green enchiladas, and the chicken inside was honestly disappointing. It looked like pieces of chicken wings rather than the shredded chicken you'd normally expect in enchiladas. I've never seen a restaurant serve them this way. They didn't look appetizing at all. They taste the way they look. Unfortunately, the service wasn't much better. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy, it took a long time for anyone to take our order. The staff seemed confused and unorganized.

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, which was highly recommended by a family member and featured on Instagram. My mother and I were utterly blown away by the breathtaking interior design and decor, and we applaud the visionary owners of Guadalajara for bringing this one-of-a-kind business to our community. I am thrilled to share a few photos of our unforgettable experience, which included a tropical passion fruit Margarita and a negra modelo michelada, both of which were incredibly delicious. The red salsa and chips were truly exceptional. We had the pleasure of meeting Maria, a warm and charming employee who joined our conversation and shared her favorite dishes. Our waiter, Jaime, was new to the industry but showed tremendous potential and was extremely attentive. We opted to try the 3 chive fajitas with the works, which were outstanding in flavor, particularly the chicken. Our second choice was the Green Aqua Chiles, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Maria highly recommended the Cheviche, which we plan to try on our next visit. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment as our new favorite spot in the Hemet and San Jacinto area. thank you Jaime for truly exceptional service. What a fantastic opportunity for you to continue growing your experience.

Both came with rice and beans. My side was a salad. Not much to write about on the salad, as it was just lettuce and a few strips of cabbage. I should have ordered the Abondigas soup, which the waitress brought me a small bowl to taste. The shredded beef taco in a deep fried shell was full of beef. Not much taste to the meat. It had some shredded cheese on top and one tomato. The beans tasted good. As most of the food was bland in taste. My friends also had the fish plate. The waitress and staff were very friendly and always checked to see if we needed more food. While we overstayed our visit/dine the staff/owner waited until we were last to depart and began clean up.
