The crab Rangoon almost needs a review of its own because with the sweet chili sauce it's my favorite menu item! Fresh blue crab (not the imitation stuff) and the serving is enough for two people! Thursday buy one get one free sushi is just the cherry on top!

She had never served it. Then she asked if I wanted to order it. I told her I don't know what's in it. She continued with cucumbers and she thought a vinaigrette. I asked her who there would know? She went to ask. Then I asked "does the Pho come with basil, jalapeños, and sprouts?" She said she was new and didn't know. So she went to ask. I told her well you need to study the menu because you're offering this food to people. Once that was all mangled up, I have to say that the fried spring rolls were tasty. The house salad was fresh and crispy with the best ginger dressing. (I bought a pint to take home!) I passed on the Pho because they told me it didn't come with basil or jalepenos and I couldn't imagine Pho being served without them., only sprouts. I went for the Singapore Rice Noodles. The picture was beautiful, the presentation was a blob on a plate. The taste was unseasoned rice noodles. No taste whatsoever. No garlic. No curry taste. I could taste the egg. I asked for the seasoning to add to it and was able to get down half of it. I rank it a 3 because the place looks nice and the wait staff was pleasant, but the food was way under seasoned. I'd go back only to buy more ginger sauce. I drive 1 hour to eat there so this trip was a bust.

Sakura Asian Express is hands‑down one of the best Asian restaurants in Greenville. This…read morefamily‑owned spot delivers the kind of authentic flavor and care you can taste in every dish. We ordered the Thai Potstickers, the Singapore Rice Noodles with Chicken, and the Sakura Soba Noodles with Steak (both at spice level 2), and everything was exceptional. The Thai Potstickers were perfectly crisp with a savory filling that tasted homemade. The Singapore Rice Noodles were light, aromatic, and full of authentic flavor without being greasy. The Sakura Soba Noodles with Steak were just as impressive -- tender steak, balanced seasoning, and a sauce that tasted like something you'd get at a true mom‑and‑pop Asian kitchen. Spice level 2 had the perfect kick. You can tell this place is run with pride -- fresh ingredients, generous portions, and consistently delicious food. If you're looking for authentic Asian cuisine in Greenville, this family‑owned restaurant should be at the top of your list. Easily one of the best in town.

We stopped in right at opening on a Saturday and the lady who greeted us, I'm assuming the owner, couldn't have been nicer. She was waiting on us and in the kitchen cooking. We ordered spring rolls, bi bim bap with beef and Thai basil with chicken and all were incredibly delicious. The Thai basil chicken is something my wife orders regularly and the depth of flavors in this dish made it one of the best I've ever tried. It was my first time ordering bi bim bap and also thought the flavors were incredible. The portions were huge but I almost managed to finish it because it was so good. We will definitely be back to try other options as good Chinese food is severely lacking in this area.

Portions are generous without sacrificing quality. The staff deserves a shoutout too--they're consistently attentive, friendly, and make you feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. The space is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal whether you're dining solo or with friends. It has that warm, comfortable vibe that keeps you coming back. The restaurant is a bit unassuming on the outside, but don't let that fool you. We were greeted super kindly and got our drinks quick. I was surprised by the emptiness of the place because their food is very good, and the service is even better! My partner and I shared the tea leaf salad, labb salad, and the hainanese chicken. If you like pickled things, I would highly recommend the tea leaf salad. Really good flavor complemented by a satisfying crunch! Unfortunately, my partner prefers beef larb :P but the flavor was very tasty! Beware, 2 is still pretty spicy! Finally, the hainanese chicken was very authentic and yummy! The soup was a nice touch.. the umami flavor reminded me of the soups my mom makes. Impressed by the authenticity of the food, will be back!
