Our family was very excited to go there because we heard some great things about this place but were disappointed. While their well known milkshakes were okay the other fare was a let down. We experimented with their Gola Ganda and Pani Puri which were not worth the money. We tried the dry fruit milkshake and it was ok. This place has gone downhill ever since the expansion. When I lived in Dallas, the service was good and the food and drinks were excellent. Now, the service sucks; the female cashier has an attitude with the customers. The food sucks and the falooda comes warm. The ambiance is horrible due to the super loud music and tacky Tijuana disco colored lights not to mention the low powered AC, which is especially bad considered the Dallas heat. The store owner, who I believe is Karim Valliani, stormed at my husband and started swearing at him because he was changing our baby's diaper. He was making threats and aggressive remarks completely unprovoked. We left in shock and fear, as he was intimidating. Considering what a niche business this is, it's clear that the bad reviews here are a result of exceptionally poor customer service. A business like this should be flooding with positive reviews because of what a rare find falooda and other Pakistani goods are. Stopped by some desi TLC food, which is the only reason to visit. BTW that's reason enough to visit anytime. The location is located in a service lane road shopping center with plenty of parking with only Pakistani/Indian businesses. It wasn't too busy when I walked at about 8pm. Placed the order and was seated in less than 3 minutes. I ordered the Signature Falooda and Bun kabob with Chat Patti fries. Bun Kabob was like not my fav at all. The bun(bread) was much bigger than the patty. The add-ons were not dressed properly. I broke of the side of the bread to make it eatable. Chat Patti fires was not up to the mark either. It was crispy fries with just some seasoning thrown on. Not interesting. Signature Falooda was something worth the visit. Even though it may have been too sweet but than its the signature version with just everything in it. It was flavorful and had a variety of flavors in it based on the ingredients which is what Falooda is all about. Its a desi kitchen sink dessert. Desserts at Agha Juice is what's good. I have tried their kulfi, which is a type of South Asian ice cream on a stick, it's house made, and very good! Their falooda's come in many different flavors, they're a concoction of flavors and textures all at once. Their Chikku milkshake is one of my husband's favorite things to order from the menu. They have yumm kulfi plates, kulfa(bigger kulfi), lahori falooda, mawa badaam shake, rabdi delight, gola ganda - all 5/5s! We are here for 4 days and are coming here daily to get gola ganda and other items.. I have never seen gola ganda being sold anywhere else in US! I have searched extensively in NJ, NY and CA. So you understand why this place is so special to me. The mawa badaam shake is sooo good and authentic - you can chew the small pieces of almonds.. its not made of powdered products you find in the markets. The rabdi delight is also very delicious. Just yesterday we thought of trying their malai chicken roll and kachauri tarkaari - i am so glad we did! The malai chicken roll tastes just like what we used to have back home in Lucknow! They seem to push the dessert aspect of the place more than the food, but I finally did realize they also served food. So I decided to go in and give this new place near me some business. I entered the totally empty restaurant and stood looking at the menu for a very long period of time. I could hear (and see) someone in the back who seemed more interested in what they were doing than checking to see if they had any customers up front. The longer I looked at the menu and the longer I waited for someone to come take my order I realized I really didn't want to eat there, after-all. I left and went a few doors down to a Thai restaurant and had dinner. I have to wonder how many others showed up, tried to give them their business and also left. Which would explain why the place was totally void of any customers. Complete rip-off!! $7 for a cup of ice cream (literally 3 tablespoons, if that). Got "Kulfi plate" which is like a creamy, nutty ice cream. Had very little ice cream and instead loaded with vermicelli as well as some rose flavor syrup (not mentioned on menu or else we would not have got it ).
